This gelato stand is a gem tucked away on the end of Finlay Market. Hailey helped us choose from their variety of flavors and toppings and made Instagram-worthy treats. They offer three dairy free gelatos, and I got the dairy free vanilla gelato topped with strawberry sauce and rainbow sprinkles. The single scoop was the perfect size for me to eat while browsing the rest of the market. I am looking forward to my next visit and to trying all the combinations!

Quick trip to Findlay and grabbed a cup of the cherry. Yum! Nice little pieces of cherry. Kids cup is plenty big for me.

Wow... that gelato is to die for... smooth, light, creamy, simply yummy... too bad I don't live closer or I would be in here all the time. They let you taste different flavors if you have a hard time making up your mind... actually tasting several different delicious flavors made it an even tougher decision for me. I did settle on the Vietnamese Coffee variety. I had just the right amount of coffee flavor and a hint of sweetened condensed milk, making for one delicious snack. They also have a variety of coffees and sundaes. This is going to be a regular stop for me, any time I'm in Cincy.

If I could run faster than Flo-Jo Or if I had Austin Powers' Mojo I'd still drive to this Market (Though there's nowhere to park it) Just to get some Gelato from Dojo! Dojo understand what I'm trying to tell you? Definitely a big fan of this gelato. It just about scores five stars because the guy has no problem letting you taste as many as you like with metal spoons which I appreciate so they're not going in the trash. I had a bunch of different flavours and they were all good. None of them blew me away. The Salted Caramel was definitely the standout. Dutch chocolate is nice but a little basic. The stracciatella doesn't taste anything like the Italian version and in general this gelato is honestly more like ice cream as far as I can tell. If you get the red flavours, it's Rojo Gelato. I could easily knock off a star or two because it's called gelato and tastes a lot more like ice cream and nothing like Italy and nothing like the best gelato which is in New York City and Boston and New Hampshire of all places and of course in Bruges Belgium. But instead of judging it based on gelato standards I will judge it based on American ice cream standards and by those standards it's just about a five-star. Affordable and very friendly with lots of free samples and all the flavors taste good - a couple of them taste excellent. That's all I ask for in an American ice cream joint. Now someone named Jo is asking me to do her (or is it him), so I'm gonna go Dojo.

This local gelato brand has an outlet at the end of the food hall, giving it a bit more space and a couple of dedicated seats, which most businesses in there do not have. The flavor selection didn't have some of the things I would have hoped for, but I did find some interesting ones. Gooey butter cake delivered the butter taste that it promised; more interesting was a mango sorbet with chocolate chips. Mint chip is the standard, and there are many other chocolate chip ice cream flavors, but no one ever seems to put chips in sorbet, which arguably needs them more. The chocolate bits were quality, and the overall flavor smooth. I might hope for a better selection at one of their larger shops.

Dojo Gelato is the best gelato in Cincinnati. It started off as a vendor in Findlay Market. The gelato is now available elsewhere, but this is still the best location though. It's at the one end of the market. There's lots of other places around it to stop and shop. A good thing is they let you sample, so trybas many as you can. It tastes better than the famous Graeter's. That's high praise. It has many gelato flavors. There are also a few sorbettos, all of which are vegan. I had the banana sorbetto. The single scoop is about $5, but it is a pretty big scoop and it's totally worth that. It can now be found in other parts of the city. It's original location in the market is still the best. They have a counter seating area and seats just outside.

In Cincinnati, this is my go to gelato and sorbetto place! The flavors are unique and well done. Nothing is overly sweet. I also love how many non dairy options there are. The sorbetto is icy, but the fruit flavors and outstanding. Price is fair and staff is always super friendly. The north side location and the market are equally fun atmospheres and a great place to bring out of towners!

The drinking chocolate was so delicious, the giant toasts marshmallow is very worth it. Coffee is just right. I'd come back!

First, it's…read morelocated in a really lovely part of Pendleton near a part of Broadway that's permanently closed for pedestrians and outdoor dining, so the ambiance is really nice. The inside of the shop is interesting, with knickknacks and things to look at in every corner- kids would love it for this reason! I immediately noticed that there were no prices on the menu... there were cups displayed on the counter with small/medium/large pricing but it wasn't clear what these cups were for- it looked like shakes. It was very off-putting for me to not know the prices of what I'm ordering, especially with more specialty items like cookie dough or coffee/ice cream creations where I can't predict a standard price. Second, there was only one dairy-free option... a cookies and cream ice cream. While it was tasty, it was my only option and that never feels great to order something because you have to. It also didn't have a description or any info available so I was left wondering what made it nondairy... almond? Coconut? Oil? Of course at a creamy whip type place I'm not going to expect the entire menu to accommodate me, but it's nice when there are at least a couple other options- especially with coffee, it would be easy to have a nondairy milk available or a sorbet/dole whip since they already carry many flavors. I tried a tiny bite of my husband's edible cookie dough and it was delicious! Seemed really sweet though- he could barely finish his side by side because it was so sugary--a good problem to have :)) I think I would go back if I had friends with me or happened to be in the area for Blink or the pool or something, but otherwise I would probably choose somewhere else where I have more options s and I know what I'm going to spend.
