Visited here twice since the have opened . The second visit was a great time! On the first visit we were met by a very unfriendly and grouchy redhead bartender that was very cold to say the least. Upon requesting to try a beer type, she gave us a great deal of attitude . I felt like we were bothering her. Had one drink and decided to leave. She seemed more interested in the regulars . On the second visit we had a better experience. The bartender was much more friendly and informative on the beers. Can't remember his name, but he had long hair and had the Jesus look going on . The beer they brew is awesome from the blondes to the porters! The building is big, open and well decorated. Some games are in the building , but I did not partake. Glad I gave this place another chance. I may of just caught the red head bartender on a bad night.... who knows read more

Popped in after a day of touring the city for a flight and the beers were decent. We had a cider, red ale, stout and IPA. The tap water is pure Florida so it was tough to clean the palate between sips but thankfully we had bottled water with us. It was a bit slow when we were there but could see the place easily getting packed on the weekend. Worth a stop in for beer lovers. read more

Great environment but the beer wasn't my favorite. I'm not a huge IPA fan and most of the beers were IPAs. Not much choice other than that. We got the pale ale and the lager and weren't head over heals about either. Staff was nice and the shuffle board table was fun. read more

Super excited I got a chance to come here. This Laid back spot was pretty busy when I arrived so I took a table, with in an hour a seat at the bar opened up. My friend ordered me a with a Rambling Red to start. After that I had a Fools Fire topped with the Speedball Stout. It was a bit heavy tasted like a PSL and a piece of caramel had a baby sooo good! Haven't been since the opening. They have various food trucks for a dinner option most nights of the week. As for bar food I was impressed with the handcrafted sea salt chips from Ohio in a display behind the counter. Dog Rose being the only Brewery in the Lincolnville made it feel like a locals only spot. The building used to be an Art Gallery, I appreciate how but they incorporate that element it to the brewery. Various local artwork was on display. Darts and a form of shuffle board provide guests entertainment as well as a large space to mingle. Fun Fact The bar top is made of reclaimed wood, and they have a small parking lot extra points for downtown St. Augustine. Great spot to stop if you want a local feel! read more

Cool that they are open but it's impossible to order from the bar and keep the mandated six feet distance. My husband and I attempted to have two growlers filled but they evidently don't want to fool with filling them since they took orders and delivered drinks for over ten others before we decided to leave. read more

This is my second favorite brewery in St. Augustine. It's a nice large place. Most of the beers are very good. Selection is a little small, I think about 8 on tap, maybe more now. Nothing really jumps out with their beer but they are good and it is a nice place to enjoy beer. They have pretty parking considering it's downtown. The service is really good. Wife and I were on vacation, and stopped in to try the brews...we can't say enough about how AMAZING they were. She loved the lager, and I loved the lionshead honey!! Nice place to stop in for a beer. The inside was dark and the music loud so we went to the outdoor area which was peaceful. We shared a beer flight and the beer was just ok. If you love IPAs, this place might be more for you. I would have loved a Pilsner option on such a hot summer day. read more

NOT family friendly. Apparently, the velocity with which my *12-year-old* daughter threw the shuffleboard weights was just too hard. We had been playing for about an hour, and were having a nice time. The owner/brewer waited until I went to the restroom to confront my daughter about the amount of muscle she was using to play. While whatever issue he might have had could possibly have been resolved by him addressing her father directly, he instead chose to confront a child (and then disappeared into a back room). We will never go there again. (On a completely unrelated compliant, their beer selection is extremely limited. Hope you don't like dark beers, in February. Not on the menu.) read more

This place was so clean and fun! It reminded me a lot of the breweries back in SC and NC. I loved the big, open feel of the place. There were maybe 6 different types of beer to try. I didn't like the first few I tried but my sisters did. I ended up with the red and it was great! They have two big shuffleboard tables which we played on. Also, two dartboards. The women's bathroom was very nice and clean. I loved the pictures! We went on a rainy Tuesday so there weren't very many people inside. They have growlers, shirts, pint glasses, and koozies for purchase. I was really happy that they had a food truck located right outside on the side of the building. It was called Wingin' It and the wings were very very good! I really enjoyed this place and I'd recommend it to anyone! read more
