Well heard the hype about these breakfast burritos and had to check them! Always looking for the best and here is my review! Under new ownership and looking forward to trying more! Wow finally a proper breakfast burrito and I can tell the chef takes pride in bringing the right mix of spice and flavors to get the taste just right! While it's not the biggest burrito- it's sized perfectly for a fulfilling meal that left me feeling satisfied and not overwhelmed with potatoes! I will be back for dinner and a the great beer selection !

Came here for a date night on Friday and this was my first time trying the burgers. I usually do the dogs, but decided the HANGOVER was what I needed to have. My husband got the Little Mule and we shared the Ruben Tots. The burgers were fantastic and full of flavor with egg cooked to perfection, the tots were crispy and the sauce executed flawlessly. If I could change one thing it would be a little more pastrami on the tots than the couple little pieces we had. Overall the experience was great, the service was attentive and friendly, and we definitely want to come back.

( This is the last of five reviews I've prepared for describing some of the food I ate while I was out in Phoenix, Arizona. ) One of the commonalities I noticed about both Las Vegas and Phoenix is that they both have very vibrant food scenes ranging from the eclectic to the upscale, and everything in between. And yet, even with such a diverse range of offerings, sometimes, you just want a simple burger or hot dog. That was what inevitably drew me back to Tempe Town Lake, especially when I saw this place among the restaurants there! Dog Haus is a fast-casual joint that specializes in hot dogs and sausages, though they also have burgers and chicken sandwiches on offer. This place is special to me, though -- I actually remember several years back when Dog Haus made their ill-fated venture into Las Vegas, and was absolutely gutted when they closed. Thus, when I saw this place while I was at Sweet Republic the day before, I just knew that I had to come out here and treat myself. It's as great as I remember -- as a restaurant and biergarten, the Dog Haus is set up kind of like a sports bar, complete with the decor to match. Think exposed steel beams, wooden tables, metal barrels and a industrial-looking bar with TV screens mounted all over. The food, though, is something else entirely; they have all manner of hot dogs and sausages on offer that you can't go wrong with whatever you order. (They even have vegetarian and vegan-friendly dogs!) I ended up going with my classic order of the Chili Idol, the Fonz, and cheese fries; after several years of not having them, they tasted just as good as I remembered! Of course, they also have burgers and chicken on the menu, so you're guaranteed a great meal regardless. I just picked those because that was what I always ordered from the Dog Haus in Vegas back when they were open! One thing that sets them apart, too, is their use of Hawaiian sweet rolls for the bread instead of the usual white burger and hot dog buns; as a fan of Hawaiian sweet rolls, Dog Haus immediately shot up to the top of my favorite fast casual joints back in the day. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants good old-fashioned burgers and hot dogs, and it's not because I missed this place -- the food here is genuinely good. Here's to hoping they decide to try again and come out here to Vegas, because I think they're ready for their take on hot dogs! Until then, I'll just sit here and think about if and when I come back to Phoenix, lol. Please, if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and come out here. You won't regret it. ( Thank you for those of you who read through all five of my reviews from the Phoenix area. If you're a local, please, cherish your food scene and support them. You won't regret it. )

Really great American food, prices weren't bad and happy on Sunday's are awesome and lasts til midnight! We got the chili tots and regular ones for a side, I recommend the chili. Hot dogs and their sausages were great! Would go again for sure! Also try the pineapple infused water, it's amazing!

I recently checked out Dog Haus in Tempe, and while the idea behind their offerings is solid, the experience was just... okay. I ordered the premium Angus beef dog, topped with smoked bacon, caramelized onions, chipotle aioli, pickled jalapeños, and cotija cheese, all on grilled King's Hawaiian rolls with a side of onion rings. The good? The hot dog itself tasted better than it looked. The toppings--especially the bacon and the spicy jalapeños--had potential, and the King's Hawaiian rolls added a nice sweet touch. The onion rings were crispy, though a bit underwhelming in terms of flavor. Now, the not-so-good: the overall combination just didn't quite come together as well as I expected. Some of the toppings didn't really pop, and the chipotle aioli and cotija cheese were subtle to the point of being forgettable. The bacon was great, but a little drowned out by everything else. Also, for $20-ish for lunch in a college area? It felt a little steep. Sure, it's a premium dog, but I wasn't blown away enough to justify the price, especially when there are plenty of other options in the area. Would I order again? Probably not. It's worth trying if you're curious, but I wasn't left with that "I need this again" feeling.

This place is very chill and has wonderful service! Considering the bartender was back and forth from the front desk and manning the bar by himself my lady and I really appreciated his work ethic and he was delightful. I had been to the location at the Santan mall before but this was my first time at this location and it's just as good as I remember! The burgers here are delicious and my girlfriend absolutely adored the use of the Hawaiian roll buns, claiming more restaurants should use them for their burgers and I can't help but agree! The Holy Aioli was my go-to tonight despite never having tried the item before and they delivered, the Hawaiian roll bun was delectable and the caramelized onions really shined through. The burger was nice and soft and the patty was not chewy in the slightest, and the grease was minimal. My girlfriend's Ringer burger looked very tasty as well. I had the Sparky's Sangria cocktail which was a yummy frozen drink and it hit just right, my girlfriend's Mango Tango frozen marg quenched her thirst as well. The relaxing atmosphere and convenient location definitely solidified a return in the future for us!

I came in during my visit to Phoenix with friends and we all enjoyed our food here. It was oddly quiet but the ambience is casual and friendly, and there's a nice small outdoor seating area in front. Condiments, drinks, and board games are self serve. I had the Old Town Haus dog, chili cheese tots, and some friend thing which I don't remember but it was a special and I didn't think it was worth it. However I really enjoyed the other two items, and the use of Hawaiian rolls as hot dog and hamburger buns was really creative. They weren't messy or too saucy though which foods like this can risk being. My only comment is that it is a bit pricy given you'll likely need to order several things to get full.

After spending some time at the We Work nearby I was hungry and always wanted to try Dog Haus. I heard good things about it, and they have some unique options. I got the Soo Cali dog, which was nice and flavorful. It came with avocado, tomato, and a delicious sauce and crispy onions so it was nice and crunchy and not dry. There was more bread than hot dog, but I did love the Hawaiian roll it came on, it was perfectly toasted on the top. I didn't feel super full after it so it was a good snack. It took a few minutes for them to make it and the staff was very kind, and the restaurant was clean. They also have a bar there in case you want a drink with your dog lol

This was our last family meal. My son recommended this place, as he and his wife like coming here. I ordered a Bad Mutha Clucka chicken sandwich and a soda. We sat outside because it was too cold inside, although I liked the spaciousness inside. You order at the counter but food gets delivered. Service was good. I liked the sauce on my chicken and the bread was melt-in-your-mouth. There are plenty of craft beers but at $8 a pint, opted to just have soda.

I love the giant disco balls and the aesthetic of this place. We started with the appletini and lemongrass highball (non-alcoholic). My friend and I ended up switching drinks because we liked each other's more than our own. For the second round, we ordered the brandy spritz and primrose martini. We weren't fans of the brandy spritz, although my friend grew into it. The primrose martini was quite good, I liked it better than the appletini. For snackies, we ordered the glizzy gaunlet, which was basically a tower of carbs. It came with 5 mini dogs with milk bread, and potato wedges. There were 3 sauces, my favorite in order were the: truffle dijonnaise, kosho aioli, and korean ketchup. We enjoyed this more than the food at Filthy Animal. Although it was pricey ($22) for just carbs and hardly any protein. The milk bread was delicious and the mini dogs were pretty good too. The potato wedges were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would I return? Probably not. The food was better than the drinks but it wasn't outstanding.
