Alright let's get into it shall we? this is a very nice little place right in the down town area of Mt pleasant. This little place has amazing dogs, they use Dearborn brand with natural casing, they had the perfect snap and were juicy along with many topping options. The Dc cheese curds were hand cut and beer battered, also amazing. Fries beer battered fresh fast and affordable! A family size tray is $7.45 if my memory serves correctly. My Daughter (who has barely ever done food challenges) got the DC challenge. Three 1ft long coney dogs with your choice of toppings on a bed of fries and topped with a volcano of onion rings, this challenge was covered by man vs. food a time back, neither my daughter nor him could finish but they both got close, my daughter was 2 dogs down and half the fries and man Vs. food (Casie) had a handful of fries left. Service was fast and very friendly (shocked at my daughter's appetite as well) you can tell that their personalities come alive at night. Bathrooms were spotless, smelled good and even had flowers! Also i would like to add they save alcoholic beverages as well so you can have a beer or mixed drink with your meal.

Oh, dog central your fries were absolutely delicious but your dogs were average!! A ton of options to add to your hot dog but what good is that when the hot dog doesn't stand out. Ordered the popper dog and the toppings were pretty decent but the hot dog itself was cold and bland. I was quite dissatisfied to say the least. Service was poor. One of our orders was forgotten about and we weren't greeted at the register!

I didn't get a picture of my food. Sorry, but here's the front of the building.

Hi normally take a picture but I was too busy. Grubbing down on that delicious hot dog. So many delicious dogs to choose from. But I chose the loaded dog. Hot dog has a great Snap to it. That everybody loves, and the hot dog was super delicious. Everything on it was good. Nice, nice, cute. Decor very friendly staff. I'll be back for the elote dog next time

When you come to Michigan you have to have a hot dog! This is a great place! I love a natural casing hot dog!

Damn, that's a snappy dog! Went back again on a stay over in Mt. P. Did not disappoint with the pure deliciousness.

The location is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect for hot dogs and beer. I'm not sure what I expected going in, but I did expect to walk away finishing a meal. I went with a friend and neither of us ended up finishing. I ordered the hot dog with Fritos, which I thought came with chili but I seemed to have a gotten a hot dog drowned in nacho cheese. My friend went along about her coleslaw on her hot dog being very sour and ruining the whole entree. The beer battered fries are the best I've had in a long time, which is the only reason they got 2 stars. Maybe I will try again, but highly doubt it. Update: As the owner tried to reply to my review, this is an update as I feel if I order food I expect for it to be given to me. This place not only problem was nacho cheese, it was overall not good to me. It's a plain cheap hot dog, with a variety of toppings to cover it up. That's why this place received 2 stars, awful. If you want to get your food, taste it only to complain to the staff there it's completely your choice, but me personally no I like my food served correct.

The ultimate lasts night hangout. They have every type of hot dog creation possible. Not ready for the night to end? They have mixed drinks and a variety of bottles. Dog central also carries ice cream. This restaurant reminded me of a fast food restaurant with alcohol available. Dog central is perfect for Mount Pleasant area and those after bar food stops.

'Ello chaps! Once upon a time, in the land of Mount Pleasant, the end of a long night on the town, enjoying adult beverages with fellow students and friends, ended at the only place open that late. Taco Bell. Boy, has Dog Central filled a void that we never knew we had. There is a huge variety of hot dogs and toppings you can get here and it tastes oh so good after a few drinks. Sober up with some heavy, greasy, hot dogs and onion rings then walk your way home.

Our server was really sweet and gave us plenty of time to catch up and browse the menu. We started with an order of cabin sticks, which are cheese filled breadsticks. Their ranch is famous apparently (you can get a giant container of it to take home), and it was pretty tasty. I liked that the cabin sticks were cut into chunks so it was easy to share with the group. Nate and I got the classic pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onions, black olives, and mushrooms. Our food came out quickly and the pizza was completely covered with toppings! The crust was thicker than I typically prefer, but it was needed to hold up all those toppings. The sauce wasn't too sweet and the medium size was perfect for us to have some left over for the next day. If you're craving pizza, definitely check out The Cabin!

The aioli and sweet soy was a great complement to the perfectly cooked, juicy bites of fried chicken. Meals: YES, there was just two of us and YES we got three meals, soup and an app. The menu is outstandingly elevated, packed with creativity and flavor profiles. We chose the Venison Chili to start and wow, it was amazing. Our meals were 1. Southern Mac 9/10: not our favorite due to the cheese sauce, but the flavors overall were spot on, noodles perfect, spicy jalapeños and the pickled onion was a perfect touch. 2. Steak Dinner: this is the meal that made me ask who the Chef here is! 100000/10! Most amazing, juicy, tender and flavorful steak I've ever had. I asked for a side of the truffle garlic aioli because I wanted to try it, the steak didn't need a darn thing (although I did take the horseradish aioli home to try and replicate!) The sides were perfect, the veggies and the potatoes - yum. The house made sauces were amazing but for only dunkin' those potatoes - don't ruin a good steak with sauce. Seriously, it's that good. 3. Gyro Lamb Burger: 10/10! The lamb was juicy, the homemade tzatziki was so darn flavorful and the cucumbers were crisp and fresh. Dessert: leftovers, and our delicious drinks from the bar - we didn't have a bite to spare in our stomach's. Hats off to the chef and team who created this menu! We drove almost an hour to come here based on your Google reviews alone and it was worth every second of the long rainy drive! We will absolutely be back. This is a level of service and food you need to tell your friends about.

They were also doing a deal on their mocktails for dry January, which I thought was cool. The menu is pretty varied with lots of options for meat-eaters--I wouldn't come here if you're vegan or vegetarian. Entrees get a bit pricey (their steak frites is $49), but sandwiches are around $15-$18 and come with fries. I ordered the pesto chicken wrap with a side of mac and cheese instead of fries. My friend got the chicken and chorizo nachos and we decided to split them half and half. Our food came out quickly and looked really good! The wrap was tasty but I couldn't really taste the pistachio pesto. The mac and cheese was incredible--super cheesy, perfectly cooked cavatappi noodles, and very flavorful. I'm really glad I upgraded to that and would even consider getting the full entree size in the future. The nachos were pretty loaded, and a generous portion. I liked all the toppings but didn't really taste much chorizo. These would be a good starter for a group. Overall a very good experience and I would come back.

The staff was very friendly and on top of things. Our waitress was warm and welcoming with just enough attentiveness without being overly intrusive. She was also accommodating to my beverage choice dilemma. Thank you! The food was all delicious. We split the Ruben with onion rings ($3 up charge). The Ruben might be one of the best we remember. The flavor was great, it was not greasy or soggy from too much toppings. The onion rings were also very crispy without being burnt. The coating was thin and fully covered the onion. We also shared the Ruben egg rolls and they were delicious as well. The only thing is they were two egg rolls cut into 6 pieces, which seemed a bit pricey. If you want a Ruben, you might just want to do the sandwich. The beverages were reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. The inside was clean and they have plenty of seating. They have some unique seating arrangements and a small game area. They also appear to have an outdoor area, which was only used for the patrons who smoked as it was too cold to sit outside. We are definitely going to be going back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.
