I have been meaning to try Doc's Pizza for many years. My wife and I were camping at nearby Tyler State Park, so I finally made it to Doc's. I love pizza places like this. It reminds me of the good old days, before deep dish and pan pizzas, stuffed and flavored crusts, and so much other nonsense. Doc's has traditional, fairly thin crust, with a crispy bottom. It is good, reminding me of Pizza Hut and Pizza Inn of the 70s. We have quite a few excellent pizza restaurant choices in Tyler, so I probably wouldn't make a special trip to Lindale for Doc's, but I recommend this place and would definitely return. That's pretty much my standard for the 5-star rating. read more

Friendly cashier at drive-thru. This place was busy and I'm seemed like a very popular spot for locals. We were visiting from CA and ordered Pizza and Salad for a family dinner. Pizza was hot and delicious and salad was fresh and also very good. We picked up at the drive-thru so I cannot comment on the ambiance of this establishment but the cashier was very nice and pizza was ready when promised. read more

Well ill give it two stars only because IF you get a hot pizza it's good. If you order delivery it's gonna take two hours and thats if they remember to put the order in. The last three times I ordered it took two hours ( I live 10 mins away ) and your gambling if it will even be warm usually it's cold. Definitely not ordering from here again they don't even care that every time they mess up the order and it takes forever. read more

The staff was very nice here. Remember this is a no mask town- so don't freak out. I liked supporting local. The pizzas are PACKED with toppings. My husband had 5 meat and I had veggie, our son had a small cheese. It is good but not outta this world. If we lived here we would come back for sure- they do a lot of drive thru take out. My only issue is the restrooms are dirty and I pray the kitchen doesn't match. read more

Pizza is delicious my husband and I always get the supreme pizza. Around lunch time you can get a medium pizza for $8.50 with however many toppings you'd like. It's quite a deal and can easily feed 2 people. read more

The food was okay, which is the only thing positive I can say and the only reason i gave 2 stars. The place was empty when we walked in at 1:30 in the afternoon. The kid that finally came to the register hardly said anything to us. There was old food and plates on tables with flies swarming, that looked like it had been there all day. After we ate, I went to the restroom and without giving the nasty details of what I saw in there... I'll just say, if I had went in there before eating, I would have left immediately. I must be insane. I keep ordering from Doc's expecting a different outcome from the previous order. Ordered a large New York Style Pizza with half mushrooms and half peperoni. Also ordered a small cheese pizza for a relative. I did not check the pizza prior to leaving Doc's. I mean, how hard is it to screw up a pizza? Opened the box at home and low and behold, they screwed up again! No surprise there! The large pizza had more peperoni's on it than I have ever seen in my life. The cheese was hardly visible because of the slathering of peperoni. Completely covered. Oh, and the 50% mushroom? I think I counted about 12 itty bitty pieces of mushrooms. In addition, the pizza was dried out and burned. I swore I would never patronize Doc's again. And, now, I never will. I do not understand how they do such a successful business if the correct order rate is below 25%. Perhaps it has somthing to do with the families, relatives and friends of all the children who run the place. To their credit when I called to complain, the young Lady who answered apologized profusely and offered to "Make it right." The best pizza place in Lindale, no doubt about it. We got the Bacon Cheeseburger medium pizza, and Chocolate Delight Sticks. The pizza was really loaded with toppings: beef, bacon, Canadian bacon, cheddar and mozzarella cheese on New York style crust. They were really generous with how much you got concerning toppings, unlike some places. A medium pizza was the perfect size for our party of three and came out hot, but not "burn the roof of your mouth" hot. In other words, AMAZINGLY GOOD! The Chocolate Delight Sticks were the best dessert pizza type deal I've ever had, in my life. Warm, soft pizza crust with hot melty chocolate sauce, drizzled with sweet white icing made the perfect ending to our trip to Doc's. It's about the size of a medium pizza cut into strips and so sweet. Service itself was fast, and very friendly. They were out of small cups, so the cashier apologized, and upgraded us to a larger side for free! We will definitely stop in again on our next way through Lindale. read more

We tried to order for delivery while staying at a local rental for the weekend, but they couldn't find the address on their GPS so we had to go pick the pizza up from the store. No big deal. It was less than two miles down the road and we're not that lazy. The restaurant was large and open and... completely empty. The drive-thru was hopping, though. We got a small cheese pizza, a large bacon cheeseburger pizza, and Amy's salad with ranch. The pizza was decent, with a nice crispy crust and plenty of cheese and toppings. The salad was pretty good, too--it was big and had tons of veggies, cheese, and meat. And the ranch dressing was the good kind, if you know what I mean. This spot hits the spot. The calzones were on point. Stuffed to the max , delicious, filling .. not to greasy , just right. It had been awhile since I had some good calzones and a pizza with a decent crust. Customer service was nice over the phone, courteous, didn't have to yell to be heard or repeat myself 4x nor was i put on hold while she took my order and the delivery was just in time for family movie night.
