I had the chicken sandwich which was simple and delicious but the bread really stood out, crispy but pillowy soft and insubstantial in a way that balanced the sandwich really well without ruffing up the top of my mouth. The wings were some of the best I've ever had, crispy and they easily fell off the bone. Breadsticks were the cut flatbread style. Nicely crispy outside, soft and chewy inside. The pizza was really good, well cooked. We were full and the chef sent out some cheesecake that I had to tuck into. I felt welcome and cared for, this is a place every home town needs. Our server was genuinely friendly and attentive. Come here and you won't leave hungry or disappointed. It's a great bite and a great value and I'm looking forward to going back.

The kids shared a large cheese pizza, and it was outstanding. The crust was perfectly cooked with great flavor, and the pizza was easily large enough for them to share. The service was friendly, the food arrived promptly, and the quality exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for authentic Italian food with generous portions and excellent value, Roma Italian Bistro is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Jacksonville.
