Driving back east from Dallas at 9pm on a Sunday, our choices for a decent dinner were limited. Thanks to other positive reviews and a preference to try locally owned spots rather than chains, we found Moe's. We love a good pizza parlor, we've been known to have slices at 3 or 4 spots in one day. We called in our order, told them we were 30 minutes away, and our pizza was fresh out of the oven when we arrived. Inside is reminiscent of a night in the 80's where you'd go out for pizza with the family and rent a video on the way home. The young lady working the counter was friendly and a gentleman from the kitchen also came to check that everything was good. They had cans of soda since we were taking it to go. Pizza had a well seasoned, buttery crispy-edged crust, just enough sauce, and the right cook on the cheese! Made the slight detour to take a back road 100% worth it! I was looking for an Italian restaurant in White Oak, that by all appearances, looked like it had folded up. I just decided to explore the area, since I don't come down here that often, and see what else is here. I noticed Moe's Pizza on Apple Maps, and decided to give it a try after seeing the positive Yelp reviews. I saw that they compared this restaurant favorably to Pizza King in Longview and as well to the Big Three of fast food pizza places, so Moe's may have a reputation to live. Needless to say, the pizza was great. I got a Small Meat Lovers style pizza which came out in a pan pizza configuration The crust was so crunchy and delicious and the rest was fantastic. It's too bad that I don't go out to White Oak very often. Moe's would be a weekly expenditure if I lived there. Service was also good, despite being packed. Great job! read more

We moved to the Pine Tree area last year. Pizza King used to be our go to pizza because it was close to our old place. Not anymore though. Moe's is amazing!! We normally order take out once a week and there was only one time that our order was wrong. We ordered a pizza with white sauce some chicken and the girl answering the phone was new and did their chicken Alfredo pizza with peppers. They fixed it really fast and was very friendly! read more

We ate here some time ago. It was a very good visit. The Supreme Pizza was outstanding as well as the Ham and Cheese sub. The mozzarella sticks and tornados were okay. Apparently this restaurant has been around in one place or another for about 25 years. The dough is rolled fresh several times a day and homegrown vegetables are used with only the best cheese. I can't tell you how amazing this place is. I've lived in white oak all my life, and I ALWAYS come here for pizza. Sam, the owner, is hilarious and very welcoming. The workers are hardworking and very polite. The food, wow. The food is just great. I love the pizza, the pasta, and the sandwiches are especially good too. We ordered ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch. When we got them home there was hardly any ham on the sandwich at all. They had taken one slice of ham, cut it and triangles and laid it on the bread. Try the tornadoes as an appetizer. Note they do charge for delivery and charge extra if you pay by card. So if you know that up front it will not be sticker shock. Ate at Moe's last night, and we've found our Longview-area pizza restaurant. Three of us shared a small salad, a small cheesy bread, and a small Moe's combo pizza. Could not finish it all, and every bite was delicious. The cheesy bread was absolutely incredible, with an amazing crust. The same was true for the pizza. We go thru white oak from Dallas on our way to Caddo lake. Tried pizza in jefferson...horrible. Read about Moe's and decided to try it. Our first experience , pepperoni pizza was 5star. We tried it again and went for sausage pizza and a Philly steak sandwich. Again 5 star. We are big pizza people and feel like we know good pizza. This is a hidden gem in the community! Although the inside is not all that big, I went with the intentions of dining in. I have had their pizza and salad at an event I attended, but had not personally gone to the establishment. As we were getting out of the car to go in, this man pulls on the side of the building and was just staring at us. I didn't know or recognize him, soooo my personality made me stare back. Lol! As we walked in the restaurant we were greeted and told we could sit anywhere, which we did. The young lady who came to our table seemed very rushed, but she was friendly and took our drink order, and patiently waited as we looked over the menu. We placed our order, and when our food came, it was bought out and assisted by the gentleman that was staring in the parking lot. He was actually the owner. I now know why he was staring, he's the type of guy that knows his customers personally. He worked that room by making it a point to talk to everyone that was dining. Talked to us at least 15 minutes. We ordered a meat lovers pizza and wings. Hands down one of the best pizzas that I've had in a Libby time. The wings were average, nothing really made them stand out, but i would order again, if I were in the mood for some. It's hard to eat pizza anywhere else after having their garlic glazed crust pizza which makes it delicious from the first bite to the end of the slice. Word of mouth finally led me to Pizza heaven. Unassuming Bistro at first glance. I know pizza. Grew up and lived in Chicagoland for my first 55 years. Mom and Pop pizza stores are everywhere. This is good pizza. Very friendly service. We tried the hand tossed - if you like Pizza Hut pan pizza, you will like this. Semi- thick crust, but also crispy, because the crust is quite greasy. I need to check my car seats there was so much grease coming through the box. Not a lot of sauce - I usually like more.
