Someone recommended this place so on my home to Dallas I made a detour to try it. The initial interaction with Diondrick was a great experience with wonderful customer service. Yet the coworker that was with him (an older Hispanic woman) stared at me like my presence bothered her . No matter, I used the restroom, came out my pizza was ready to go. A younger Hispanic woman was more than happy to give me cheese and peppers and was super nice. I paid just under $20 for my large 1 topping with light cheese and extra sauce, which I believe took it from $17 something to $19 something. The food is great the service was just fine from 2 out of the three people I interacted with. My only thing is if that woman looked at me like my presence bothered her or she didn't want to come to work, why show up at all and be miserable towards paying customers? Either way I give this place a 3/5 considering price, quality, good service from the majority of the staff. The ambiance of the place is similar to a bar/pizza diner with is perfectly fine. Definitely seems like a good place to go for lunch, and they even had a few lunch specials, but I was craving a fresh pie not slices. read more

This was the best pizza that I have had in a long time. We stopped in here by default. Now, I'm very thankful that we did. We got the combo which they called Proud, and they should be very proud of it. It did cost a little more $26 for a large pizza and two soft drinks. There were a gracious plenty of toppings on it and I'm all for paying more if it's worth it, and this pizza was truly worth it. I would have given them 5 stars, but they were busy, and the staff wasn't doing a real good job handling the rush. Had to use plastic wear instead of the real forks they ran out of. Ask if they had grated Parmesan and was told it was "over there." I went over there twice and could not find it. So I went again and asked for the grated Parmesan cheese and again was told it is "over there" my response was I don't see and please show me. When she went over to "over there," she said they must be all on the tables and walked away! I went up the counter and asked if they could get me some, and they were able to get me the to- go pac's of them. So all good. read more

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and my boyfriend and I stopped in for date night and WOW were we impressed. We both love love love pizza and this immediately went to the top of our lists. The bread has an amazing flavor, along with the cheese and sauce. The dough isn't super thick to where it's too much. Every bite was so well balanced. I thought my Canadian bacon and pepperoni was missing the bacon, but she very politely told me they put it under the cheese! An interesting technique but so good! The place was very loud, but it's obviously a family loved place. Not the place for a quiet discussion, but definitely a meal filled with lots of laughter. Ripped Off ! Advertised price for 3 pepperoni rolls is $5.99. That's one 'serving' of 3 roll for advertised for about $6. Family ordered 36 pepperoni rolls takeout for a holiday get together. Received 3 boxes of a dozen each and was charged $83.88 before tax or $6.99 per serving. So, higher price per 'serving' and no consideration that they were cooked and boxed by the dozen. Ordered at 4:00. Was told it would be ready around 4:30 to 4:45. Then Rounder's called at 4:15, said they were ready. At pickup counter, I registered the above complaints. The two girls acted like they couldn't understand why I might be unhappy with the order. No consideration about cost, timing, or customer expectation given a large order for a meal. Called in 2 Xtra lg chicken bacon ranch Pizzas and 2 orders of pepperoni rolls for dinner for my family and I drove 20+ minutes one way in the rain to pick up the order. I got there and was told to wait because they hadn't started it yet. After another 20 minutes, I was given my order. I got home opened the pizza box and I was given the wrong order. I called and explained the mixup. Was told because of the inconvenience my order would be remade for free. I drove another 20+ minutes in the rain and arrived to pick up my order a second time only to be told I'd have to pay full price. I talked to the "manager" and explained what happened and the arrangement that was told to me. I was told that he didn't care and wasn't going to do anything to fix the problem. Why the heck does this place only rate as 3 stars? This is the best pizza in Tyler! Not soggy in the middle, crust is great, a lot of cheese and sauce just right. Staff was pleasant, place was clean. We have been trying different pizza around town for fun and just tried Rounder's pizza for the first time. I called to order and the girl on the phone was helpful and kind. We ordered one thin crust and one regular. We enjoyed the thin crust pizza. Both pizzas were undercooked to me and the cheese was not super meaty. Making you think the cheese isn't as high a quality. The pizza here is some of the best in East Texas. The ingredients are good quality and you can taste the difference. The service is hit or miss, but I could say the same about any restaurant these days. There's less people willing to do this kind of work for the pay. Those who complain about the service should consider whether or not they would be willing to do this thankless job for around $10 an hour.
