Dang, tough crowd on these reviews. My family and I visited this Chili's as we were driving back from out of town. It was quite busy when we arrived, but there was no wait time and we were seated right away. We decided to share our meals and got the chicken and steak fajitas for two and the triple dipper opting for the big mouth bites, southwestern eggrolls and Nashville hot mozzarella sticks. Everything was great, fajitas were piping hot, juicy and plentiful and the triple dipper which is my go to when I visit Chili's was good per usual and I'm not sure what was done differently with the avocado ranch but it was extra delicious this time around. I ordered the dragonfruit lemonade to drink and it was really good, despite their being no actual dragonfruit in it. Our server Nicholas was friendly and very attentive and kudos to Chili's for having a military discount! Not sure if we caught them on a good day, but we had a great experience and even better food. read more

Service was great. Ordered the Nashville hot crispy chicken sandwich and fries extra well done. Food hit the table in a timely manner. Wish I could say I was pleased, alas, not so. The Nashville hot chicken was covered with the saltiest hot sauce I've had the displeasure of tasting! The fries were limp and tasteless. I was hungry so I forced myself to eat about half the sandwich and fries. Highly recommend they redo this take on hot chicken or take it off the menu - yes, it was that bad. Never had a Chili's burger, only ever had the trio because, why not? We ordered a QP burger, bacon ranch burger, and a double cheeseburger, fries, chips and salsa and the burger was super yummy. I was very impressed. The fries and chips and salsa were a bit too salty but flavor was great. Service was good other then when it was time to pay, it was hard to get a hold of our server after that. We needed them to do some corrections on our bill, which ultimately was corrected with no problems. Definitely will be back again for those yummy burgers. If I could give zero stars, I would. I've never written a Yelp review before, but this experience was so bad I made an account just to say something. I stopped into this Chili's expecting a normal dinner, and instead walked into something disgusting. When I went to use the restroom, there was a man in there actively doing drugs. He was wearing a Chili's employee t-shirt, a backwards hat, and glasses. I stood there completely shocked. This wasn't a random customer this was someone who clearly works there. It's absolutely unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. If this is who they have representing their restaurant, it makes me question what's going on in the kitchen and everywhere else behind the scenes. I will never bring my family here again. Chili's corporate needs to step in and deal with this location before something worse happens. read more

Food was fine. It was not busy. There were 4 of us. 3 of us got our food after a while of waiting. My friend didn't get her food until we were done eating. Part of it was cold. So she just got it to go. The waitress couldn't remember our order. She never apologized or acted like anything was wrong. She should have apologized or given a discount or something. The mozzarella sticks were okay, the chicken strips were oddly textured (though the sauce was tasty). The burger minis.... Skip it. I can taste a poorly maintained grill surface. Not a good experience. Chips and salsa were crumbs and salsa. They "lost" our order and we waited about 25 minutes for our food to come out. No apologies, sorry you had to wait. I regularly eat at Chili's in Kilgore, and I always get my favorite....a Fresh Mex Bowl. Well, the salad here was good, but literally half the size of what I normally get in Kilgore. I'd say the salad in Kilgore is worth $12, but way overpriced for the small size I got in Lindale. The hostess went to seat us at the center row if tables and we asked if we could sit at the booth. She told us NO, that section was not open. If you sit in the bar seating you'll get much better service and they are actually happy to be there. Sit on the floor and they could care less. Basic, standard Chilis if you eat inside. Disappointed every time we do pick up because some thing is always missing or messed up on our order. We keep trying for the sake of convenience - maybe we've learned our lesson now. I am beyond disappointed with the quality of this dining establishment! The restrooms were overflowing and smelt of death. I have never been so disgusted with a restaurant. I thought my wife's cooking was bad but this...now this is truly awful. This makes her cooking seem like Gordon Ramsey's finest meal. Please for what it's worth do not waste your time at this pathetic excuse for a family friendly restaurant. Also some man attempted to sell me crack cocaine from the second stall. Can't let February get by without telling about my lunch outing on Thursday, Feb. 10th. Well, I ordered the Chicken Fajitas with a side of grilled shrimp. As I expected my order was missing the shrimp. I let our server know and as we were about to eat, a different person from the back or somewhere else on the planet came up to the table holding 2 grilled shrimp in her bear HAND and said, "here are two of the shrimp you ordered!! We each had our eyes on 'high beam' in total shock! I was speechless! She stood there and I don't know if she thought I was going to take those and eat them or what but finally said, see we didn't forget them...I will have them cook you some more???! Ate here last night while visiting friends in the area. We were seated with no problems, our waitress was attentive, our service quick and the food cooked correctly. Those of us with free refills had new cups placed in front of us at just the right time, not when we still had half to go, and we never had to wait. Not only that, she was unobtrusive, did not disrupt our conversation, and generally provided what we needed and otherwise left us alone. Much appreciated! With the food, well, it's Chilis, so as far as food from Chilis goes, it was good. My only complaint is that the tables were squeezed very close together, making maneuvering a bit harder. read more

Generally if youre planning on eating in the restaurant, it's a great option and the food is great even if some of the service is hit or miss. However, ordering to go is a guaranteed bad time. For whatever reason, everything I order to go comes out way worse than if I ordered it at a table. Everything is soggy and unseasoned, and often my orders are missing things or wrong. I guess it's because they know to go orderers won't be returning for a refund or replaced food as it's a hassle to do so. So all in all just avoid ordering to go and this place is 4 stars but the to go experience is horrible. read more

Chili's, in general, has gone down in quality and service. I went to Chili's in Lindale, Texas last night, and I was so impressed with the whole experience. Our server was phenomenal. He was on top of our needs without being annoying. He brought our food out as soon as it was put on the pass. Our food came out HOT, fresh, and delicious. My chicken crispers were amazing. The gravy was a little too thick, but it was still yummy. My kids and I shared a molten chocolate cake. I reached back to get my payment source, by the time I put spoon in hand, the cake was basically gone. I managed a few bites, and it was great also. I wish all Chili's would follow this Chili's high standards. Chili's was my favorite restaurant growing up; if they would get to Lindale's high standards of excellence, it would be my favorite restaurant now.
