What stands out about this pizza? The grease... or the lack of it!! It was so refreshing that the pizza wasn't resting in a pool of grease when I picked it up. The crust was not soggy and it was cooked to a perfect brown--not burnt and not under cooked. The crust is not a thick crust which I loved. The sauce was very acidic and mostly tasted of tomato paste and the mushrooms were canned and mushy. There were lots of peppers and onions, but other than that the toppings were pretty light. The crust was pretty dense but fully cooked. Not a lot of options in Van. Milano's is a decent choice but isn't breaking any ground.
