We were in town visiting family and decided to stop in for some pizza, and WOW--this place did not disappoint! It's easily the best pizza spot, and the customer service was exceptional! The restaurant is spacious, charming, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. I especially loved hearing the history behind this special place. It's been family-owned for nearly 50 years, with their 50th anniversary coming up at the end of August! What makes it even more special is seeing the children continue their parents' legacy and keep the family business going after all these years. Good pizza. Ingredients all the way to the edge of the crispy crust. Dining clean, bathroom clean, help young. Make sure you get everything you ordered. Our young waiter forgot plates, napkins and the ranch dressing we ordered. That costs 75 cents and comes on a small plastic container, enough for one person. The pizza was good. Don't expect much on the help, kids mostly, but expect great pizza. I recommend trying them out. We got the meat lovers. The crust is thin and crispy. Overall a nice place. read more

0 stars- called to order from Jerry's. We had a horrible experience over 7 years ago. Thought we would try again...... we couldn't get past ordering the pizza over the phone. Asked for 1/2 hot honey & half chicken fredo. They said they couldn't split sauces on first call. We said we would call back. We decided to ask for all fredo sauce & just split toppings. Then she said no again because of pizza pricing. We said we are ok paying the more expensive price for the whole pizza. She said NO-just not their policy. I said third strike. I really wanted to give the local business another try. Not again. Thank you for your response. However, you missed in my review that (after she said we could not do two sauces) we asked for the fredo sauce on all with separate toppings on each side. We were a little disappointed with the pizza. The pictures on Yelp appeared to us to be a thicker crust. In reality, it was quite thin. We had the BBQ Chicken and it was good, just not great. The chicken wings were very good. Service was incredibly slow and our food was served piecemeal to us over one hour. They apologized that a Wifi issue disrupted the ordering process but it made for a long night for a pizza, wings and salads. read more

We have camped in the Canton area a few times over the last few months, and I have been meaning to try Jerry's Pizza. I finally did. It is right off I20, and I will absolutely be going back there when I'm in the area in the future. I love pizza that takes me back to my teens and twenties, which was the 70's. Jerry's is a simple place, offering only thin crust pizza, with a generous helping of your toppings. Just the way it should be, in my opinion. Think early Pizza Hut or Pizza Inn. The waitstaff was friendly and courteous as well. My only complaint is about their hours. They should be open every day from 11:00-11:00. I highly recommend Jerry's, which as a pizza snob, is high praise from me. I am looking forward to going back. read more

Hands down some of best pizza going. Establishment couldn't have been any friendlier, and that goes along way these days. Salad very tasty and more than happy they offer thousand island dressing bc less and less restaurants have it lately. Back to the pizza, plenty of toppings and thin crust was (almost) perfect. We definitely like a "crispier" crust and even asked for well done but for us we like it more well cooked than they served. Next time we'll explain better that we prefer a crispier crust. As you drive away with your pizza and it get cool enough to eat it starts to be not chrispy.... it is not good to eat the next day because it gets soaggy... member when pizza used to be good the next day??? Not this. I believe that they have the correct oven to make the old fashioned pizza with semolina bread flour but they do not apparently take advantage... you need a high heat oven and those rolling grate pizza cookers are not able to do that... this would allow then to make pizza good the next day also. Not happy therefore with their crust that is only good for 5 minutes. You younger croud do not know what you are missing... now for sauce...I do not view tomato soup as a good pizza sauce but this is what the flavor is.. this place is definitely NOT italian....enough said!! read more

Decided to give this pizza joint a try. While visiting my kids/grands we stopped by to grab some dinner for everyone. With 4 adults and 3 kids I got 2 giants and 1 Lg. They were hot and fresh when we arrived for pickup. They are only doing drive thru right now, due to staff shortage. Let me just say, the staff was friendly and doing it all with a smile. They had 3-4 cars in-line the whole time we were waiting. Thing is that they were fast and efficient. Back to the pizzas. We got a pepperoni,a cheese, and a supreme w/o anchovies. They were all great! Crust was perfect and tasty. The perfect amount of ingredients for a full giant and large. If y'all are ever in the Canton area, you need to try them out. Just call 30 mins ahead of time and it will be piled high with fresh ingredients, steaming hot. All 3 pizzas were less than $50, with a tip. So worth every dime to feed a family of 7. Jerry's remains amazing and extremely delicious. The staff is always kind and give great service. I love their sausage topping. I don't live nearby so whenever I visit I usually order 4 pizzas so I can enjoy some back in DFW. This pizza shop is fabulous! The entry, dining area and restrooms are super clean, inviting and with the perfect amount of decor that gives it warm, comfortable appeal. Ambient music was at the perfect level and a very good selection (Blues, I think). The walk-up counter is open, well-signed with selection and pricing, and the Associate taking customer orders was friendly with clean and appropriate attire. The open kitchen/food prep area was immaculate, well-maintained and organized. Associates were focused on serving customers. The pizza was the best I've had in the Canton, Kaufman, Kemp and Mabank area...by far! Two small areas that need focus: outside building is plain and not as well maintained as the interior, and, the AC vent to the left of the order counter needs attention...I'm sorry. This led to a reminder that while I was born here, I don't necessarily fit in, as a small girl in a jacked up F-250 offered to drive my truck for me. "No thanks", I said. It felt good to be home. I stepped into the doorway of 1990-something and had a flashback of feeding quarters into the arcade machines and pool table, playing Van Halen on the jukebox and thinking the old folks hated it. The game room is almost empty now, a whisper to a bygone era where Street Fighter was king. What hasn't changed is the pizza. Jerry's has its own flavor unlike any other pizza I've had anywhere else. I give Jerry's Pizza a 3 only because it was edible. The pictures on yelp and the website are misleading to say the least. The owner claims the dough is made fresh daily, I think it's more likely thawed daily. I read one review that likened these pizzas to Tony's or Totinos pizza or other frozen fare you get at your grocery store, that was spot on. Although our mushroom and sausage pizza did have a LOT of sausage, it barely had ANY mushroom... I would guess it might have had barely more than one mushroom sliced thinly on a medium size pizza. The sausage is the typical frozen sausage nuggets like you see on cheap frozen pizza. Ketchup on a hub cap. Jerry's is a good ad for Red Baron from your grocer's freezer. Sad! But note that locals seem to like it, however if you know what good pizza actually tastes like and are from out of town, you will be unimpressed. Service not impressive as well. Seriously, try Alex's, or for pizza go with the excellent 3D or even your locally-owned Pizza Hut on Trade Days Blvd., which is good as far as chains go. Also when we asked if we could BYOB wine - I think Jerry's is dry tho Canton went wet - the staff fervently insisted that it was "illegal". I guess they need to tell that to the restaurants in town (e.g., Alex's) that kindly do let you bring your own.
