It reminds me of the good old days, before deep dish and pan pizzas, stuffed and flavored crusts, and so much other nonsense. Doc's has traditional, fairly thin crust, with a crispy bottom. It is good, reminding me of Pizza Hut and Pizza Inn of the 70s. We have quite a few excellent pizza restaurant choices in Tyler, so I probably wouldn't make a special trip to Lindale for Doc's, but I recommend this place and would definitely return. That's pretty much my standard for the 5-star rating.
