Pretty good, however I wish they had some healthy, lower fat & carb options added in the buffet.

Here's a clean, polished review you can post--natural but enthusiastic:…read more Himes Breakfast was an awesome experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. This place will definitely be seeing more of me!

The combination of ingredients was very good but the grits themselves were not really special. My pancakes were well executed, and what pushed this to 3.5 - could have been a 4 with hot grits - was the fact that they provided heated syrup. I can't recall anywhere I've experienced that. Service was prompt and friendly. The whole staff was hustling. Interior was bright diner style and no sound dampening whatsoever. A couple of tables of 8 and it's pretty loud inside. I'd come back, but IDK if I would drive across town for a return visit.

Joanne and I went to Eggtown tonight for dinner. This is my review. I am glad to be able to give a…read morepositive review because it is such a wonderful amenity to our community to have a nearby place to have a relaxed, modestly priced, sit down dinner. Please consider supporting this business expansion so that it remains available to us. This does not appear to be an experiment to see how it goes. All of the signs, including outdoor signs, have been updated or replaced to announce that the business is open for dinner. The dining room is too bright. I suggested to server, who passed my comment on, that they should figure out how to dim the lights or turn some of them off. Speaking of the server, she was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Our server's name was Ava, and she is an immigrant of Greek and Albanian descent, who has been in the United States for 29 years. Ava happily brewed a fresh pot of decaf for us and offered drinks for us to take with us. We were given the regular menu and a dinner supplement. I have attached copies of the dinner supplement and you can see there are varied options--and you can also see how reasonably priced the options are. Portion sizes were great. Too much for us, anyway. I had the fried shrimp platter and the $13.95 price included the shrimp, french fries, sauteed green beans and a really nice dinner salad. Joanne had the chicken salad croissant sandwich. She really liked her sandwich. I liked my dinner but being candid, I would be surprised if the shrimp were breaded in house as opposed to prepared and frozen by the purveyor. I will try something different next time or will have the shrimp grilled. Portions were plentiful. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience. Based on the food, the location and the prices, we are certainly happy to support Eggtown for dinner.
