a menu for a mexican restaurant - The menu board from Vacunos showcases a selection of grilled and smoked meats including picanha, churrasco, filet mignon, lamb chop, and pork loin, with prices for different weight options. It also offers sides such as rice, beans, yuca fries, and salads, along with platters and beverages like sodas and homemade lemonades. The menu emphasizes high-quality meats cooked over charcoal, with options for casual dining and sharing.

This was a rockstar of a discovery on our Friday night. We ventured to Riverview and what brought us to this area were the Colombian Cholado's(fruit salads) at Frutella. This truck caught my eye and I knew we had to try it. I asked a couple who was eating their food about this place and they loved their churrasco and picanha. We chose the churrasco because the guy who worked there said both are excellent and the difference is the churrasco is very juicy and has less fat. The churrasco was a great choice. Ordered a 1/2 pound with two sides - papas criollas (mini yellow potatoes) and fried yuca and split this w/ my hubby. We loved it and it was sooo sooo good. Still dreaming of this meal here and happy too that we split it. Everyone who worked here was very nice. They have picnic tables here and green turf. They don't have shade here. We ate our food at Frutella and ordered are cholado there as well!! This area has four food trucks - a place with sandwiches, Frutella, this truck, and a Mexican food truck. Don't hesitate stopping here!

This is our second time ordering from this place and it has been positive. Their meat is always tender and juicy. Their sauces are fire and must- haves. Their sides are also really delicious but the portion is a little small. Out favs are def picanha and chorizo. It might take some time to get your food but it's totally worth it. Will return for sure.

Picanha, beans, and maduros - The image shows slices of cooked beef, likely roast or steak, placed inside a white foam container lined with aluminum foil. There are also fried plantains with a golden-brown exterior in the container. A clear plastic cup filled with a dark, possibly carbonated beverage, is positioned in front of the container on a speckled granite countertop. A white-handled utensil is partially visible next to the cup.

What a fun little area with multiple food choices and what looked like a dessert spot. I personally only went for Vacunos but there were tacos it looked like and a couple other choices. I was hungry one night and didn't feel like cooking and this little hidden gem was about a 10 min drive from me. I really wasn't sure what to expect but I saw charcoal and meat and I was sold (from Yelp). Was not at all disappointed!! I ended up going with the picanha (1/2 lb) with a side of beans and of course, maduros (sweet plantains, my favorite). I took this to go, but they do have outdoor seating, like little patio benches that was pretty spacious. It is right next to a gas station but the ambiance was still very inviting. Service was quick and friendly! The meat was cooked to absolute perfection as I had asked for medium rare and got just that. The maduros were insanely good and the black beans were seasoned perfectly. I will say it's slightly pricey for the portion of meat, but the sides made up for that and really, the meat was perfect. I would definitely come back here to try some other cuts of meat in the future!

Picana white rice - A foam takeout container lined with aluminum foil contains sliced grilled meat and a mound of white rice. The meat appears to be cooked with a charred exterior and pink interior. The container is outdoors, with a person wearing a gray shirt visible in the background. The food presentation suggests casual dining, possibly from a food truck or outdoor event.

Great food and service!! The food was absolutely delicious and very casual atmosphere since it's outside. I had the bowl with churrasco (skirt steak). My husband had the picana (sirloin) with white rice and black beans. Lunch or dinner the food was delicious and not heavy. We will be back!

Menu - A rectangular menu board from Vacunos in Riverview, FL, features sections for starters, meats, sides, desserts, and beverages. The menu includes various meat options like pork, chicken, and beef, with prices ranging from $7.99 to $29.99. Side dishes such as baked potato, yuca fries, and salads are listed, along with desserts like flan and tres leches. The board is set against a metallic background and uses bold colors for section headers and prices.

This was my first time at Texas de Brazil and it was exactly how people describe it to me…read more Unlimited meat and salad buffet until you're stuffed! I did go during lunch time so the menu might've been limited but nevertheless still great. The restaurant was busy at its lunch hours but we're still accommodating. It was a dark moody vibe there. The server comes and ask if it's your first time dinning and also asks you how you want your meat cooked. The servers then come around with different types of meat to choose from. Our server was really nice and made sure our group was take care of. The salad bar was amazing and full of different choices. I really liked the churrasco cooked in medium. Desserts is served À la carte if you're up to it. Now were the steaks great? I think they're great for the price point. I recently just started having a thing for steak and I would say that it's worth it coming here if you are a meat lover.

It's expensive, but delicious…read more Costco usually has a deal on gift cards where it's $180 for $200 worth of GC, so you save $20. You may think will I really spend $200 there? Yes, yes you will. My younger son is 4. It's only $5 for kids between the age of 3 and 5, which is an insanely good deal. My older son is 7 so his cost is half the price of the adult. With the adult price being $60 that's not worth it to us (I'm sure I'd feel differently if he was a big eater.) It used to be the just salad bar price wasn't that much less expensive than the full price. Now the price is like half. So since I love mainly the salad bar, I stuck with that. This means for lunch on a Sunday for me (salad bar), my husband (full price), my son ($5) and two non alcoholic drinks ($9), plus tax and tip it came out to close to $150. I'm not usually one to shy away from expensive meals but this was a bit pricey to me. Since my younger son loves meat and thoroughly enjoyed the experience I'll do it, but this is a treat, not an every day thing. The salad bar was spectacular as always. I love the scalloped potatoes and lobster bisque. I also eat my fill of smoked salmon. My husband and son enjoyed the meat. Parking is always a pain on the Texas de Brazil side, so I parked on the Kona grill side and walked. Service is always great here. They come by to make sure you got all the meat you wanted. I would recommend this place for a special occasion. It is good, but expensive.

We decided to try something different since we were in Tampa and made reservations for 8:15 PM…read more When we arrived, the entrance was packed and there was no host or hostess in sight. Several couples were waiting. While standing there, we heard a woman tell another patron she did not have a reservation, yet when the manager came out to seat guests, he seated a large group and then that party of three before the rest of us who had reservations. Shortly after, he loudly announced, "Reservations first," which was confusing considering what we all had just witnessed. When we were finally seated, we were initially placed at the worst table in the room by the kitchen and bathroom but were accommodated after requesting a move. We then waited 10-15 minutes before the manager instructed Daniel to take care of us. Daniel ended up being the highlight of the evening--professional, apologetic, and attentive despite circumstances clearly outside of his control. We ordered empanadas, only to find out the flavors we wanted were sold out. Daniel brought cheesesteak, four-cheese, and shredded beef instead. The cheesesteak had decent flavor but was dry. Overall, the empanadas were very doughy and the meat lacked moisture. We then ordered the All Beef Parrillada. When it arrived, my wife checked the temperature and tasted a small piece. Immediately after, a server returned and said the dish wasn't ours and took it back. We watched her walk into the kitchen and then bring the same tray out to another table seated two tables away--who had been seated after us. That was extremely concerning. To make matters worse, we were then informed that mashed potatoes were no longer available and needed to select another side--yet the table that received the dish we had touched was served mashed potatoes. We ended up with extra rice and spinach. The spinach was oily with no noticeable garlic, salt, or seasoning. The rice was plain white rice with peas and carrots and little flavor. The steak itself, however, was well-seasoned and prepared nicely. During our visit, we also noticed another Black couple seated next us who waited at least 30 minutes without being greeted or even served water. They eventually left. Shortly after, the table was seated with white males who were greeted and attended to within 10 minutes. That observation was very difficult to ignore after talking to them. Daniel did not charge us for the empanadas, spinach, or the sangria (which he made promptly so we wouldn't experience another long wait). The sangria was very good. His professionalism and sincere attitude were the only things that salvaged the evening. Overall, the service inconsistencies, food execution, and handling of dishes--especially serving a plate that had already been touched--were disappointing and extremely concerning. We came for a different experience, but unfortunately left questioning whether we would return. 2 stars for steak taste and season and Daniel's effort.

What a fantastic experience at Bern's this weekend. I had heard so many amazing things about the…read moreplace, but I really only did about 50% of what is probably the appropriate amount of research so... I didn't realize until the morning I planned to go that they weren't open until 5. I also had no clue that there is usually a lineup of people waiting to get in as early as 4pm. I knew we were unlikely to get into the main restaurant but didn't know how the whole lounge seating thing worked or that the valet was required (unless you somehow manage to find street parking but that's largely non-existent so... ok) Anyway, arrived right after 5pm on Saturday after lots of on and off rain - which I was also hoping might scare people away? Who was I kidding - and even getting into the valet line was a struggle but we worked it out. Our valet attendant didn't seem convinced we would be able to be seated but as luck would have it, walked in and after checking in at the welcome stand we were seated in the lounge in about 7 minutes. Success! From there, things only got better. Our lounge server was Abdul and he was PHENOMENAL. Mom ordered the filet and I got the chateaubriand tips. The soup and salad were almost enough that we didn't need the entree but that entree. Wow. The steak was worth all fuss, sides were also terrific and we scored a nice portion to take home for leftovers. This was meant to be an early Mother's Day dinner, and I expect well plan the same for next year and by that I mean actually work on getting a reservation so the whole winging it thing doesn't have to happen. 10 stars and worth the trip!

The overall vibe and theme of the restaurant is beautiful. We started with cocktails. I cannot remember the name of my drink but the spirit was Gin and it was raspberry flavor. My husband ordered the old fashion, both were very well made and delicious. Our server mentioned an oyster rockerfeller dish that they had as a special, so thats what we did for our appetizer. We weren't fans of the oysters, they were fresh but we did not like the flavor. We both ordered the 14oz Dry aged Delmonico. Each steak entree came with French onion soup, house salad, baked potato, their vegetable of the day( which was green beans) & what's advertised as onion rings but where I'm from they are onion strings, as onion rings are thicker (either way they were so good). There's options to sub the soup, I got the lobster bisque ( no bacon) which was an $11 upcharge, my husband stuck with the French onion. Both of the soups were flavorful. The bisque was heavier and I probably would've been full if I finished it so I didn't. We subbed the house salads for caesar salads which I believe was a $1 upcharge. I got the baked potato minus the bacon my husband got the loaded baker, I can't remember what the upcharge was for that. The sides were all good and well prepared. Now the steaks! Honestly by the time our entrees came we were close to full from everything before. We honestly probably could've split one 18oz Delmonico but we're greedy. I asked for medium well, our server talked me into a medium plus if I wanted a little pink. The overall steak was cooked perfectly but the filet was more medium if not a little under, so I took that part home. My husband ordered his medium and it was cooked perfectly. The steaks were great quality and were very good. I wish I remembered or server's name, I think it was Eric but that's a guess. I do remember in conversation him being born in NY. He was phenomenal, a great help, answered our questions and made great suggestions. He was on top of everything. We will return!
