My daughter treated me with a pedi and mani for my birthday. The environment was clean. Not enough workers. They kept accepting walk in. We had an appointment but it didn't matter. We waited with our feet soaking in the water. My daughter's pedicure chipped the next day, even though it was shellac. Very rushed French tip. As someone who never leaves reviews, I felt I had to for DN nails. I recently moved to the Naples area and was looking for a go-to nail salon. DN nails had excellent reviews, so I decided to give them a try. I went in with builder gel on my nails, and needed the old polish removed and a new builder gel color put on. I was told on the phone when making my appointment this would cost $65. A little pricey, but it's Naples so I understood. This experience easily became one of the worst manicures I have ever received. My nails are uneven, misshapen, there is polish all in my cuticles, and the worst part is that they filed the side of my nails down to a point where they were raw and bleeding when I left the salon. Photos included. My nails are now incredibly painful and will likely take days to heal the damage that was done from the file. In addition to all of this, when I went to check out, I was told it was going to be $85, because of "take off", instead of the $65 I was told on the phone, even though I had previously mentioned having builder gel on when arriving. So not only did they do a terrible job and cause me literal pain but they also took advantage of me in terms of cost. I understand that builder gel is a newer type of manicure. However, if you cannot do it PROPERLY then do not offer it to customers! As someone who has been getting consistent manicures every 2.5 weeks for the last several years, the condition of which they left my nails is honestly bizarre. When trying to find a salon in Naples, please make a different choice. There are plenty of options to choose from. read more

I booked because I received a $10 coupon for a spa treatment, but my spa pedicure ended up costing $120 instead of the expected $70 (or $60 with the coupon). Here's the breakdown: $15 for cutting my nails $15 for metallic dust I never asked for $20 for gel polish I never requested $10 for an unknown charge When I confronted the owner about these unexpected charges, she reduced my total to $90, but I was still disappointed. The owner tried to blame a "language barrier," suggesting I might have misunderstood the services, but nothing was communicated to me at all. Very unprofessional! Disappointing Experience. 50% of the time they do a great job. When they are good, they are very good, BUT when they are greedy the experience is extremely disappointing. I need to find another nail salon. Today, my appointment was scheduled for 10:30 AM. I wasn't even helped until after 11 AM. Then my daughter and I were getting a pedicure from one nail tech at the same time. Seriously? Walk-ins were helped before we were. Never got my massage. Here I am in Florida and I stub my big toe on a door jamb, cracking the nail down the middle. I thought a bandaid would be okay, but a huge chunk of nail came away exposing the tender nail bed. (Have I skeeved you out yet?) I turned to my Yelp community to find a nail salon and landed on DN Nails and Spa, a bonus .7 miles from my hotel with quality reviews and no manicure horror pictures or reviews like some other places. I called for an appointment the next morning and was pleased to get in so quickly. I'm glad I did, because this is a sparkling clean, attractive salon with lots of massage chair pedi stations and manicure stations aplenty. There is a large flatscreen (tuned to Fox News, it's Florida...) and pretty Vietnamese sculptures and decor. Although I was not getting polish (how weird would that look on this puzzle-piece toenail?) I looked over the large selection of lovely colors. My pedicurist, Nina, was remarkably careful and very gentle cleaning up the mess of my big toenail. She managed to clip away the remaining shards without me jumping from the chair and give the remaining nail some shape as well as cleaning up my nine other toes and my feet. Bottom line, I will visit this shop again in the near future. $28 for a basic pedi ($30 with polish and there's a $35 mani-pedi special) with a leg scrub and massage is a great deal. read more

We chose DN Nails since they had the highest ratings in the area. It took about 3 hours to get the basic pedicure and gel manicure. They did not do them at the same time so just be prepared to spend time there. They were very meticulous on the cuticles which was nice. There was no music or TVs on so it was pretty quiet. My gel manicure started chipping the next day.. unsure if there was enough top coat put on. Very nice people just not very organized and slow. read more

Came to this place after another place cancelled my appt and this will be my new go to place! They were really attentive right from the second I walked in and did a great job on my nails. All were the same length (which is a common problem at other places I've gone to) and they were gentle and thorough. They were very fast too.
