This nail salon was located near the condo we stayed in while on vacation in Naples. They have a sign promoting $35 Pedicure & Manicure. I always get gel polish so that didn't qualify. I opted for the firewalker pedicure which was pricey but she spent lots of time with me. My Legs and feet feel super soft! After choosing three colors I was able to find one that could be matched to my fingernails. The salon looked very clean and the service was good. Visiting from Boston I was surprised that so few nail salons were open on Sunday. Even the ones that said they were open didn't answer their phone. I chose Unique because it has the same name as the salon I use at honey. So glad I did! Friend and I went; she had a pedicure and I had a manicure and wax. Holly was lovely, very efficient and we both left feeling great! Can't say thank you enough! When I come back to Naples next year, I know I will go to visit Holly again. PS. I have been going to this salon for 6 months. I do acrylic nails which are expensive but this time the top coat started peeling off in spots on 6 of my nails ... this started happening before Christmas (7days after having them done by the owner) but I was busy with family coming in and could not return to show her until 5 days later. When I showed the owner she was rude and angry and said that I should get them completely redone again that I had them done too long ago. I said that I normally go 4 weeks as I have done my nails for many years and my nails grow very slow . She told my angrily Not MY CUSTOMERS! You must do them every 2 weeks that what I require! I could not believe what she just said to me! Who do you think you are to tell someone when they should do ANYTHING! She is beyond rude and good luck treating your customers this way! I had been coming here for nearly 2 years, but after my experience today I will not return unless the ownership changes. Under the previous owners, Lynda and Kevin, this was a polite place that cared about customers. Sadly, not anymore. I usually had an appointment scheduled every 2 weeks. I went here a few days ago for my scheduled appointment, but I was told the person who usually did my nails had to leave due to illness. No problem. A phone call to tell me this would have been nice, but that's ok. I rescheduled for today. I walked in today and was told the person who usually did my nails would not be returning for a long time. That's disappointing because he was awesome. Again, no one called me to let me know before I drove all the way there. I would have been willing to try someone else until the new owner started arguing with me. She said there was no way she could call me to tell me my appointment was cancelled. She is "too busy all day." She has to "make a living." Well, at this rate, she won't be able to make a living because of how she treats loyal customers. Don't expect to be treated as more than a way to "make a living" if you go here. I will not return unless the previous owners return. read more

I then received more attitude that I was getting another pedicure after my last pedicure being three weeks ago. The place is extremely overpriced for the service that they give. I tried this salon for the first time while snowbirding in Naples. It was a horrible experience. I had a regular mani /pedi which is priced at $40. I was told to pay $45.00 because that was the "in season rate "and they didn't update their signs yet. The polish was thick and lumpy so she said she would only use 1 coat(even though 2 should be done). My cuticles were never pushed back or trimmed. While I was drying my nails, I noticed the polish was not shiny and smooth. It looked smudged. The owner looked at it and said it was my nails. She said my nails had ripples in them. I said my nails don't have ripples and have never looked this way before. She asked her daughter if she used top coat and the daughter told her the polish was too thick even though she tried to thin it out. So the owner (her mother) put top coat on my nails and told me to put them under the lights because it would dry faster because they wanted to go home.(Without using precaution to protect my skin under the lights) A minute later she came over and shut the light on me and said "no one gets this polish anymore, it takes too long to dry, you need 30 minutes but we want to go home. She literally told me to get out so they cold go home. They gave me the 6:00 appointment. I even went early, but they wanted me out so they could go home. Terrible service. Rude and disrespectful. I would never go back and don't recommend them at all. A customer paying top dollar should never be treated like that. read more

I called and asked if I could go in as a walk-in and I was told "yes". She asked me how long it would take me to get there and I said "10 to 15 minutes". I wasn't even at the 15 minute mark when the woman called and asked where I was. I told her I was around the corner and would be there in two minutes. She very aggressively responded with "you took too long" and then proceeded to hang up on me. I don't know who these people think they are to speak to their customers in such a manner. Someone recommended this nail salon for the purpose on getting SNS nails done. The place was not busy no need to rush. Cindy (owner from what I was told) did my nail and was rush rush rush. She never cleaned up my nails,push back the cuticles and freshen up the bed of the nails for a new set. It has been a week and a half and my cuticles looks horrible and over grown and the nails she did are already lifting where the cuticles are. She was short and unpleasant. I've charged. I've been coming here since they opened. I loved the good work and customer service that the owners Kevin and Linda used to give. One day I arrived for my appointment and was told that Linda was no longer working there (nor was her husband) and that I would have to do my nails with someone new. A call to ask me if I cared to do my nails with someone different than the one I had requested would've been nice! Unfortunately the two new ladies that took over lack good customer service skills and I don't like their work. I feel that when I tell them how I want my nails done (narrow, square...) that they get upset that I requested something because they start talking in their language. I just assume their are saying how annoying I'm for requesting something LOL They also hurt my mom's finger pretty bad and didn't even apologized. When I first started coming here it was great. Very clean and organized and people were nice. The owner, Lynda, always does my nails and does a great job and always does what I want. But recently she had to take a leave of absence for personal reasons which I understand. So holly, her replacement, done my nails twice now and doesn't do a good job. She has over charged me twice and and always over charged my friend. When I ask my charges broke down because you don't get a receipt she refuses to tell me. When I go over the prices on the flyer they have it doesn't make sense but I'm not one to argue. I just will not be going back there until Lynda returns. It's really a shame that the people she has covering her business is bring bad business to them. I won't be recommending them to anyone until Lynda returns. read more
