I decided to try this salon because it's much closer to where I live now, and I made appointments for both my friend and I to get pedicures together. When we arrived, the salon was packed. We didn't wait very long, but after seating us side by side in pedicure chairs, they immediately started my friend's pedicure while I sat there for almost 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me or explaining the delay. The pedicure itself was honestly very poor quality. The technician seemed rushed and did a very careless job. He didn't even file my toenails, which I have never experienced at any nail salon before. On top of that, nobody even asked me what type of pedicure I wanted. I requested a deluxe pedicure, as did my friend, yet somehow even though mine started much later, we both finished at the exact same time, which made the service feel rushed and incomplete. The most upsetting part happened when I paid. The total should have been $110. The woman at the front took my card, crumpled up the receipt, handed my card back, and I tipped both nail technicians separately in cash. After checking my bank account later, I realized my card had actually been charged $120 instead of $110. Between the poor service, lack of attention, rushed pedicure, and incorrect charge on my card, I was extremely unimpressed with this salon and will not be returning.

A friend booked 2:00 PM appointments for three of us. We were running late, and she called ahead to say we'd be about 15 minutes behind. When we arrived, my two friends were seated right away. I stepped aside for a quick 5-minute work call, then told the staff I was ready. No one acknowledged me. I watched them seat another customer, and then a walk-in who arrived after me, while I sat there until 2:55. When I finally asked what was going on, I was told they had "waited 15 minutes" for me. If they weren't going to take me, all it took was telling me so I wasn't left sitting for 25 minutes. I asked if this was really how they wanted to treat a longtime customer who would not be coming back. They said yes, so I left. I'm sad to end this relationship, but being ignored and then dismissed isn't the kind of customer service I'll keep paying for or recommending.

She gets her nails done about once a month, gets regular pedicures, and somehow convinced me to start going back in January. Here's the crazy part: I had bitten my nails since I was a kid. After several decades, I finally stopped--and now I actually get compliments on my nails. I'm a dude. This is not something I ever expected to happen in my life. My toes needed some help too, so I started getting pedicures, and Christina and the crew have gotten those straightened out as well. I'm officially converted. Christina is awesome. She does great work, she's super friendly, and I always have fun talking with her while I'm there. She also told us yesterday that they have more polish colors than just about anywhere, and looking at the wall, I believe her. My girl certainly never seems to have trouble finding another one. Great people, great work, fun atmosphere, and apparently they can even turn a lifelong nail-biting guy into someone who gets compliments on his hands. Five stars from me!
