I've never had a problem getting a walk in for a gel mani or gel pedi even though it's always busy. They do a decent job, it's not perfect (sometimes some polish left on cuticle etc) but it's what you would expect from a walk in. I don't love that they don't give you OPI options, but often if you know the name of the color they'll have it. They're friendly and pretty clean. read more

Stopped by for a pedicure since I was in the area. The salon was cute and front staff was friendly. I wanted a regular nail color so I was handed a book and pointed to a color. Then they handed me a box to give to nail tech. I am not a fan of this type of service. I also like name brands and had no idea what brand polish they use. I normally go to this place and get great service done and asked for what I normally get except I asked for pearls on top and I was getting a pill normally a fill is 45 or $50 and they decided to charge me $76. they've never charged me for shaping and they charged me five dollars for that which is ridiculous. I went on a Wednesday afternoon, I was a walk in. I didn't wait long at all. The guy at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The girl who did my gel nails was very nice. I was looking for a very light pink color that sadly was out. She then took the time to show me 3 close options. She even painted them on her own nails so we can see the color. She took the time to shape them like I like and cleaned up my cuticles. She was gentle and took the time to do a good job. Before leaving I made sure to schedule with her again in 3 weeks for a mani and a pedi. Beware that you can't tip with a card only cash and Venmo. My Gel mani was $40 without tip. There are signs that they're short staffed, so you may want to consider making an appointment, but I've been able to walk in with a brief wait every time so far. My daughter went here to get her nails removed since she has to have short nails for her new job tomorrow. She started texting me that the gentleman was not doing what she had requested and she felt like crying. I called and spoke with a young lady who said "yes she wanted her acrylics removed and a gel manicure, I see he is doing dip" I said that is not what she wanted. She assured me she would take care of it. She called me back and said that they would not charge my daughter for the dip since it was NOT what she had asked for. My daughter called me when she left and told me that the young lady was not there when she checked out and the gentleman that did her manicure checked her out and charged her for the dip (which was $10 more then the gel manicure she had requested) I called back and spoke with the young lady and told her how upset I was. She said she understood but there was no offer of a refund made. We will not be going back and we will tell our family members who go there about this experience. This is why businesses get a bad reputation. They up charge you and perform services that were not requested so they can charge you more. Shame on me since this is not the first time this happens to me at this business. Something similar happened when they first opened and we went here. DO NOT GO HERE!! Absolutely terrible nail technician. He did not prepare the nail properly and when I asked him to do so he started arguing with me. He put too much nail polish on the nail and it started to drip. He accused me of touching something and berated me as he had to redo the nail. Lots of small cuts in my skin from the cuticle cutter. This is the reason why I don't like going to nail salons, and the one time I decided to pay someone else to do it instead of doing it myself, I get a terrible experience. All I wanted was a relaxed time, getting a good job done, this was not what I expected. I think $65 is a charity for a classic mani and pedi for the circus I got on my nails. First, let's start with the fact that they didn't have the color I wanted, after taking my time to decide what I wanted for the next couple of weeks. Then, as I'm looking through the colors again, this lady came out of nowhere to embarrass me in front of everyone to pick a color, so I had to choose a pink one that I'm hating right now. I don't like making decisions under pressure. It's not like the place was crowded, it was empty, so this who rushing was unnecessary. Then, the guy didn't even cut the cuticles on my toes, and now it looks like I got tiny nails with a super think coat of polish, looks horrible! Then the corner of my toe got a little messed up, and didn't even bother to fix it. Next, my hands, the nails weren't even filed correctly and he put uneven coats it formed bubbles, the finish was awful, im not sure if he was in a hurry or something, but left me with the fan far away from me, I had to get my nails closer to the fan to get my nails. This lady, the one who embarrassed me, came to put spray all over my nails to get them dryer and pretty much kicked me out, like, let me get my sandals straight first, lady! What are you expecting me to say? "Thank you?" ... i made the mistake by going to googles review instead of Yelp, and I pay the price every time I do that. Unfortunately, the salon is short-staffed for appointments so asked if could sit and wait. Oh man, I'm so bummed.. I really really wanted to like this place! We just moved into the area and I was needing to find a new nail spot (along with me comes my MIL, husband and sis in law who will all not return) I have been there three times now, each time something small would happen but it wasn't a big enough thing to make me not come back.... until now. Saturday, January 30th 2021.. my MIL made me an apt to get a mani/pedi, she didn't know that I had already had my toes done so I only needed a fill. I was going in with our great grandma and sister in law for a 2 o clock apt. I was 5 minutes early and when I walked in I apologized about not needing a pedi and just a fill. You would have thought I just insulted them (I should have just called and changed the appointment) So, I sit down with Nick and all is well.. he's a super nice guy and does decent nails. After he's finished with the fill part he asks if his co worker can finish my nails by doing my gel polish because his next client is there.. of course I said yes. BIG MISTAKE! This woman would paint a coat and go work on her other person, come back and do the next coat. When we were finished she thought she was grabbing the cuticle oil and ended up GRABBING A BOTTLE OF GLUE!!!!!!!! She glues my entire nail/cuticle/fingers. When I realized what she did and told her she told me she would never do that, never apologized or offered to fix it (I was standing there with burning glue on my hands, it hurt so bad!) so the woman next to her gets up and says she'll fix it.. she takes me to her station and proceeds to dremel the polish and glue off of my nails and skin. After she's done with the dremel she moves me over to who is either the manager or owner... he still doesn't act like anything wrong happened. He painted my nails (gel), he was fine.. but I was so mad but not trying to be a brat, because it wasn't his fault.. I just couldn't believe I was treated as if I'm the one who put the glue on my own hands. He finished, I left. The next day I woke up to bubbled up gel polish... so I went back and requested that Nick could finish/fix my nails since I was also an apt and shouldn't have been passed off. He said he couldn't for 45 mins and since I have now had to get a baby sitter twice for something that never takes this long, I settled for the same guy (owner/manager) to just redo them. Well, it's now Tuesday and my nails are so messed up. I'm so dissatisfied. It's like they didn't dry under the top coat, again! I cannot even believe it. If you've made it this far into this review, don't waste anymore of your time on Le Lux nail bar and just go somewhere else. I've attached pictures for proof! Also, my sister in law had gel polish also and it's all completely chipped as of yesterday already. She's too busy to go in and have it fixed. read more

Super disappointing. Seriously, don't go here!! I REALLY wanted to like this place so I gave about 8 of their people a chance and every single time I've left disappointed. Even after having a drink. There's an attached photo of how my nails looked when they tried to send me on my way. I honestly never complain, but you can see it looks like a toddler did them!! So the manager fixed my nails and made them look like what they were supposed to look like at first (average job - 2nd photo attached), but she took over an hour to fix them! Just ridiculous. I spent over 2 hours and 30 minutes there while they answered phones and kept getting up to tend to those who walk through the door. I do not recommend this Nail Salon. Almost 3 years ago I came here for my wedding manicure and it was done so poorly that I came back the morning of my rehearsal dinner to get them fixed. That was 3 years go though, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back to try it again. I paid $60 for the a pedicure just to get home and see that my toe nail polish had completely smudged off. I waited over 30 minutes for my nails to dry enough for them to tell me to put my shoes on. I thought nothing of it. When I got home my nail polish had completely smudged off! I went back to get my nails fixed (again) and and the nail polish was OLD! Like really old. You could see it was goopy and stringy and the bottle barely had any polish left in it. I told her that the polish looked old and she said it was fine. I asked if she could use a different color and she said they would charge me $15 to do that. So I let her continue to paint them with the old polish. 20 minutes later they checked to see if it was dry and my polish smeared again. Instead of offering to fix the whole job they painted over it with a different color! I had spent an hour getting my nails fixed at this point and I don't have time to have the fix them again so I now have left with the wrong color painted over my smudged nails. read more

And he gave me a great massage. It's hard to find that. Most of my experiences they just go through the motion and don't get in there. I wish I could give more stars. But unfortunately every time I go here my hands and feet are done by different techs and it's never consistent outcomes. Nails always chip I've been going here for a few months now almost a year. I honestly kept coming back bc the customer service is good and the techs are nice. Until I decided to wax there. When I tell you it was the worse experience I literally mean the worse experience. The place is called LUXE and the only thing luxury are the pedi chairs. Their wax tin was held up by aluminum and they don't change the wax obviously. And they use paper. What was the worse part was that ALL of the techs were laughing and making jokes in their native language. I am not a self conscious person but this experience was so terrible I won't be going here anymore. It sucks bc I had found a good tech there. read more

Jerry the manager literally told my sister she can leave after her trying to explain to them that she did not want her nails the way Cindy made them. This is my second time coming to this place and it will be my last. As soon as I enter no hello? just a what do you want? The receptionist asked a nail tech lady if she wanted to do a dip and shakes her head no multiple times. I had to laugh because she was so rude. As I'm standing there I'm like so do you have anyone? Sat down with a nail tech for two secs and then had to move because she had a 4pm... went to a different nail tech and was helped. Let just say it was the most uncomfortable hr in a half of my life. She was rough with me and seemed so concern with her phone. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day. I had to pull back several times just so she wouldn't cut me and I got cut from her careless demeanor. She apologize like a about 10x and then proceeds to tell me I'm tense haha. Who wouldn't tense up after being cut several times?!?! Anyway, the customer I sat next too had to use her as well since her nail tech guy couldn't do a design. She gladly spoke up saying your, "rough" as she just laughs it off. Yesterday I had my nails done with Cindy and Jerry, and I was very upset because I had to wait 40 minutes for them to attend to me, then I asked them to please clean my cuticles and they told me that it was fine the way I had them, no. They removed the old polish that I had, then I showed him a design of how I wanted them, he told me that it was not the same color but similar, but when he put it on me it was not similar at all, and he asked me if I liked it or if I I could take it off and put another one on and I said YES PLEASE and he got angry, and he told me that he had an appointment to attend to another client and he left me sitting in another chair waiting for another 15 minutes without finishing my nails, I had to wait for Jerry, and obviously I asked him how long it would take because I had work and I lost my schedule waiting for someone to help me, and Jerry got angry and was rude, he told me not to ask him that, because he doesn't know and if I don't like it, I should leave, and she made me pay for the nails without having finished them, and she also got upset because I asked her several questions at the beginning, but I was new so I had to ask what the work was like, and made me pay anyway 65$ for something that wasnt finish. read more

I had the worst manicure/pedicure that I've ever had in my life. I agree with another reviewer on Google, that Julia was very rude & rough. She was impatient & combative. She was angry when I told her that I didn't like the shape of my nails & aggressively filed them into the wrong shape. She complained about working 6 days & how tired she was. I was a return customer, because she did a great job the first time. I should've requested another nail tech finish my nails, but I didn't, a big mistake on my part. Julia was in such a big hurry & was extremely aggressive. She reprimanded me because I was early for my appointment. I told her I was willing to wait until the scheduled time, but the front desk called her. Julia needs to get into a different line of work, not working with the public. She needs to enroll in some anger management classes. She's got a serious problem if this is the way she treats senior citizens & perfect strangers. This is a get them in & get them out in a hurry kind of a nail salon.
