I had the worst waxing experience at European Wax Center in Naples today. My esthetician, Neomi,…read morewas not only rude and unprofessional but also made me feel extremely uncomfortable during my Brazilian wax. She behaved as if she had never seen pubic hair before--something completely unacceptable in this profession. The wax was messy, poorly applied, and rushed--she didn't even let it set before trying to pull it off, leaving hairs behind. I'm still in pain and sore from the experience. Despite being very flexible (I've been waxing for over 25 years and am a yoga teacher), she kept making unnecessary comments about my positioning. At one point, my knee lightly touched her belly, and she actually accused me of kicking her, which was beyond bizarre and very concerning that she would just lie like that and with no shame. I don't understand how European Wax Center continues to employ someone with such a poor attitude and lack of skill. I highly recommend avoiding Neomi at all costs! She's a liability for EWC and will never be back there.

However, since the Pine Ridge location closed, this place has become a disaster. At my last appointment, I had to wait 15 minutes just to be seen. The wax was extremely hot when applied to my skin--it almost burned me--simply because they are rushing from one client to the next, trying to serve everyone at a single location now. Even after you book and confirm an appointment, they'll call to cancel--either because the person you were scheduled with has left or because they need to re-schedule your appointment, and they call the day before your appointment. And the person making the calls doesn't seem to realize that if there are no clients, she doesn't get paid; her attitude on the phone suggests she couldn't care less whether you show up or not--it makes no difference to her. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that my entire office used to go to this location, but none of us will be going back.

I was in town and needed a Brazilian wax and saw that she uses high quality wax with an oil base and let me tell you... it makes a world of a difference. I can tolerate a normal Brazilian as far as pain goes but I did not even flinch with Maria. Not only does she use the highest quality of hard wax, but her attention to detail is truly unmatched. So many times I have gone to other places and have found many hairs were left behind, but Maria makes sure to get every single hair, and the entire hair follicle at that. She showed me the wax after removing hair and the bulbs were there on every follicle. I have been to many great waxers and Maria is the best by far. Do not look any further if you are in need of a waxing service! Especially a Brazilian. I have had no irritation and my skin was left buttery soft after. So thankful I found her!!

Well, I found her! Vanessa was an absolute delight, I don't think I actually explained what I wanted, because I didn't really know. But Vanessa did, it was almost like she looked at my face structure, hair color, skin color and then just set to. I have to say I did feel a little nervous as the process was going as Vanessa concentrates so much she doesn't talk through everything she's doing. Well, I needn't of worried, my brows are exactly as I wanted them !! Yet better than I could have imagined. They're fabulous and I get to walk around with them now! I'm going to make sure my hair is out my way so I can show them off!! I mean just check out the photos ! Vanessa talked me through the ombré option too so that may be my next step in my brow journey. I switched to another artist, and retention has been much better. That said, it's still a beautiful salon.

My appointment was scheduled for a specific time, and upon arrival, I was informed by Samantha that there would be a significant delay without any prior notification. When I expressed my frustration, Samantha's response was dismissive and lacked any empathy or attempt to resolve the situation. Instead of offering a solution or even a genuine apology, Samantha became defensive, making the atmosphere feel hostile and uncomfortable. The way she handled the situation made it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. This level of unprofessionalism from a manager is simply unacceptable and completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing spa visit. Given this encounter, I cannot recommend Hand and Stone Spa. The poor management and lack of customer service displayed by Samantha made for a truly negative and frustrating experience.

I was told by the front desk person that since there was there is a "9 minutes late policy" that I could only have 1 of my 2 booked services. No discussion, nothing.... just parroting "9 minute late policy". The wax person came and got me at 15 minutes past the hour. I had one service done. 1 service completed, re-dressed and out the front door 23 minutes total (including late and check-in) I did verify on the webpage now, that the time assigned each of those services is 30 minutes. According to their advertised services, their employee should have assigned me for 1 hour of time for these 2 services. 1 - 30 minute service; plus 1 - 30 minute service; equals 1 hour Me.... 23 minutes out the front door. *including late and check-in Where is my remaining 37 minutes and why couldn't they be used to perform my additional requested service? Where does the remaining time go normally ? Are multiple people are being billed for the same time? Is that legal to bill multiple people for the same time? Also, the front desk employee did not even look for a solution as I stood in the empty waiting room. They should be trained to look for solutions for the clients. They should also give the clients the time that they are paying for. Unfortunately, I will use the remaining services in my last package that are pre-paid and find a new facility
