I was in town and needed a Brazilian wax and saw that she uses high quality wax with an oil base and let me tell you... it makes a world of a difference. I can tolerate a normal Brazilian as far as pain goes but I did not even flinch with Maria. Not only does she use the highest quality of hard wax, but her attention to detail is truly unmatched. So many times I have gone to other places and have found many hairs were left behind, but Maria makes sure to get every single hair, and the entire hair follicle at that. She showed me the wax after removing hair and the bulbs were there on every follicle. I have been to many great waxers and Maria is the best by far. Do not look any further if you are in need of a waxing service! Especially a Brazilian. I have had no irritation and my skin was left buttery soft after. So thankful I found her!!

However, since the Pine Ridge location closed, this place has become a disaster. At my last appointment, I had to wait 15 minutes just to be seen. The wax was extremely hot when applied to my skin--it almost burned me--simply because they are rushing from one client to the next, trying to serve everyone at a single location now. Even after you book and confirm an appointment, they'll call to cancel--either because the person you were scheduled with has left or because they need to re-schedule your appointment, and they call the day before your appointment. And the person making the calls doesn't seem to realize that if there are no clients, she doesn't get paid; her attitude on the phone suggests she couldn't care less whether you show up or not--it makes no difference to her. She behaved as if she had never seen pubic hair before--something completely unacceptable in this profession. The wax was messy, poorly applied, and rushed--she didn't even let it set before trying to pull it off, leaving hairs behind. I'm still in pain and sore from the experience. Despite being very flexible (I've been waxing for over 25 years and am a yoga teacher), she kept making unnecessary comments about my positioning. At one point, my knee lightly touched her belly, and she actually accused me of kicking her, which was beyond bizarre and very concerning that she would just lie like that and with no shame. I don't understand how European Wax Center continues to employ someone with such a poor attitude and lack of skill. I highly recommend avoiding Neomi at all costs! Ok, lemme brag about Julianne. My family has been getting their hair done by Julianne for a few years now, and I started seeing her December 2018. My first time in her chair I was just getting a foil and she immediately identified me as a perfect candidate for extensions. I decided to get extensions in January 2019, and let me tell you it was the best decision I ever made! Julianne creatively transforms her clients hair to give them a result that makes them feel confident and beautiful! Not only did she do a great job installing my extensions, she taught me how to take care of them, style them, and often checked-in to make sure everything was A-OK! All I can say is book with Julianne - even if you're in the fence about extensions go in for a consult! She's the best in the biz and a dream to work with. And I know you will be a thrilled with your result! read more

Everyone needs to go see Julianne! This gal is phenomenal. I have never been more happy with my hair! I have always had thin short hair and decided to try extensions (for the first time). I found Julianne over Instagram, I recommend you follow her to see her style, and had to book her immediately. She is so nice, so cool, and even better... let me book her for my wedding!!!! She answered all my questions during my consultation and made me feel completely at ease with my decision. She is so knowledgeable about the hair and took care of me every step of the way. She cut and color my hair following the extensions and made it look so natural, which was exactly what I wanted. I've included a before and after photo :) She truly is the best!! Thank you Julianne!!! read more

The day that I was calling to self-confirm my appointment turned out to be the appointment day. I was told that I had missed the appointment that day. Surprisingly they didn't call me when I didn't show up. I'm only five minutes away from the salon and could have been there immediately Instead they kindly booked a new appointment. That took a few phone calls including one with the owner, never was it mentioned that they would be charging me for the missed appointment. It was not mentioned when I was making a new appointment, not when I arrived at the salon, not during the services.
