My 19 yr old daughter had an appointment at this business on 3/12/24 for a touch up of her blond highlights. Last night, she lost about 1/3 of her beautiful long hair. Her hair was burned and simply broke off. My daughter is devastated and her self esteem seriously hurt. She was offered a full refund by the beautician who worked on her hair. This morning, the owner of the salon changed the story. She offered for my daughter to come in for additional services. I spoke with the owner and asked what exactly they were going to do. The owner stated she'd "fix" my daughter's hair. How exactly can you fix a third of hair volume when the hair is broken off, damaged and matted? And why would my daughter go back to the salon that damages her hair in the first place? The owner refused a refund. She will be hearing from my attorney shortly. I really liked my first visit to this salon today! For starters, the business did it right by calling me this morning to schedule an appointment for same day services, not long after I submitted a request. That's a huge plus here in Naples, as many companies don't call you back or even acknowledge you contacted them. This is the 3rd salon I've tried and I'm glad I found them! Easy to work with and the 2 ladies (receptionist and beautician) were very friendly! I was their only client at the time, but I did not feel awkward or out of place. I felt comfortable as a first time customer and confident that my hair would be cut the way I wanted. A bonus: very affordable compared to most salons in Naples! Also, the place itself is very clean and nicely decorated. I will definitely be back for recurring visits! read more

I found Hello Gorgeous Salon by accident. I tend to go up to strangers (women only) who I think have great looking hair and ask them where they get their hair done. It finally paid off when I met a woman at a dog park who gave me the name & number of Kathy at Hello Gorgeous Salon. It has taken me almost two years of living in Naples and trying too many different salons to find this salon. It is expensive living in Naples and getting your hair styled, cut, roots colored and maybe lights can be expensive. And rarely did I find (once I spent over $200) any salon that charged a "reasonable" price and gave me a good haircut/style. I cannot say enough good things about this salon or Kathy. She listens to you and does what you ask her to do. I highly recommend this salon and esp. Kathy if you want a great haircut at an oh so reasonable price. read more

Beware !!! Very unprofessional salon .The girl that colored my hair didn't know what she was doing I've colored my hair for 35 yrs this is the worst EVER ! She said $150 for cut and color and blow dry thought ok good price I'll give it a try I WAS SO WRONG ! After 4 hrs and $200 I was in tears , with no apologies or anybody trying to fix the color or cut ! It was thank you next ! My hair looks like a bad wig ! My sister and I found Hello Gorgeous salon three years ago. We were seasonal customers and we had Katy do our hair. I told Katy before we left last year that we would text her in December to set up our appointments for the following year. In December, I sent her two text messages. I never received a response. When we arrived in Naples, I called the salon to make sure I had her correct cell number. I did. I called Katy and left a voicemail message. Again, no response. Finally, I called the salon again and left a message with another hairstylist to have Katy call me. Still no response. A week later I finally received a text message from Katy saying she had "personal issues" and was supposedly cutting back on her seasonal clients. If this was true, why couldn't she have told us that weeks ago? Last year, Katy had a few issues that should have been a tip off that she had a hard time dealing with problems in general. But, not contacting us in a reasonable time frame was unacceptable and unprofessional. This is no way to treat clients even if they are seasonal. The silver lining is that my sister and I found a salon with hairstylists that are professional and do our hair much better. I hope Katy realizes that she has a responsibility to her clients. She needs to treat them with respect, otherwise, she won't have any clients. read more
