I came down to Naples with a bad color outcome from my usual Maryland salon and was desperate to find a colorist for a color correction. An aquaintance recommended Kelly at Studio 41 Salon, and after pouring over salon reviews, I scheduled with her. Kelly listened to me, looked over pics from happier times, and gave me exactly what I was looking for! I'm back to my light brown with dimensional honey highlights and I couldn't be happier! She's truly an artist, very professional and also just a lovely person. I'm so impressed with the salon, scheduling is handled very professionally and it's spotlessly clean- has a very nice vibe. Highly recommend Studio 41 salon and Kelly! Note: I returned the following week for a Brazilian Blowout Keratin treatment with Candice. I've been getting these for years in Maryland, and this one was the absolute BEST! Candice asked me what end result I was looking for, and tailored the application to give me some body. I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Ok, well here goes.... You know how frustrating it is to find a great hair salon.. not just mediocre- but great. I'm looking for ridiculously great. I don't mess around when it comes to my hair. The outside of this place is very unassuming. In fact, I couldn't find it the first time. The outside sign just says Hair Salon in big letters on the building. The door has the name in small letters, but you can't see it from the road. This place is small, but well lit and very friendly and welcoming. I was placed with Christina. She is from the East Coast up North, so she is a transplant. Cool. She was very nice and let me give her the rundown of my hair without rushing me. She then gave me some ideas. My problem was my blonde hair was too dark and kind of orange... not cool. It just seems the last place I went to couldn't get the red out. Christina not only got the red out, but offered suggestions on color and style. She's very easy to talk to and does a great job! I just had the worst experience with this salon. I'm from MA. I was simply asking if I could pay for a GC for a family member over the phone who lives nearby. I was even gonna have someone pick it up. . DORIS was extremely difficult and hurtful to talk to. she was rude, loud and showed lack of empathy. she said "look we don't have a cc machine, find somewhere else" I mean....what kind of store doesnt have a CC machine or venmo these days. i would not recommend getting services from this outdated, and rude establishment. read more

Overpriced and misleading. I called for a color touch up and asked about the price and they said it would be $70. Then she said "you want a blow dry after color right?" Yes, of course. She didn't tell me that would nearly double the price!!! Why wouldn't you mention the additional cost when asking about the blow dry?? My color and blow dry was nice....but not THAT nice! $130 and I didn't even get a cut. The blow dry was nothing special either....just a normal blow dry. I get a color, cut AND blow dry in CA (the most expensive place to live in the nation) for $90. They should really be more clear about their pricing and also update yelp. I have been going to Tonya at Studio 41 for over 10 years. She gives me the best haircut and blow dry of anyone who has ever done my hair, including my long time hairdresser in New York City. She manages to reproduce my exact haircut each visit and I get a haircut every four weeks. I always feel refreshed and upbeat after a session with Tonya. Great Salon!!! After not being able to get into my regular hair salon in Naples, I first visited Salon 41 this past summer. Tish was my "assigned" stylist. My hair was long and kind of unruly. Tish did a great job taming the shrew!?! I went back a few weeks ago, to have Tish cut and blow out my hair. At first, I was just going to get a trim, but after talking a bit and remarking on another stylist's cute hairstyle, I said "go for it"! Tish is an exceptional stylist with years of experience. I trusted her completely to rework my long outgrown hairstyle! Honestly. I have very difficult, thick and very coarse hair. This is one of the best haircuts I've ever had! In addition, the staff is friendly and most accommodating. I have made appointments with Tish into April of next year! I've deleted the number for my former Naples stylist from my phone. OUTRAGEOUS! I went on yelp to find a hair salon in Naples. I decided on Studio 41, to get my hair cut and colored, because of the good reviews and two "$$". I walked out $372 later!! I called the salon, after it sunk in what I had paid, and asked if it was a mistake. The receptionist said "no" and that the base color was $70, the "full" foil was $165, and the cut and blow dry was $75. I always tip 20% so I added on $62 bringing the grand total to $372.00. I enjoyed the salon and the stylist, Dolly, but I wished I had asked ahead of time what it would cost. The two $$ is totally misleading and no haircut and color is worth that amount of money. read more

I went last week to get a simple trim to a hair style I got weeks ago at my hometown. I walked in 10 minutes before closing (no appointment) and these lovely ladies took me in washed my hair (a very relaxing scalp massage, BTW) and fixed the hair style to better suit my face and overall look. Cynthia is awesome... Kuddos to her!!! She noticed that there were uneven sections of my hair and asked if it was okay to correct them. She never pressured me or made me feel uncomfortable--- to the contrary, she was kind and respectful and made me feel at ease the entire time. She has curly hair as I do and gave me a cut that made me feel glorious about my natural curls. I love my hair cut and I LOVE STUDIO 41!!! The best thing about all this is that I was on vacation in Naples... and I will be back next year when on vacation in Naples again. I was in Florida for a month and desperately needed my hair colored. Since I am very fussy about my hair, I was really nervous about having it done. Based on the good reviews I read, I decided to try Studio 41. Susie was my stylist and I loved her! Not only was she very sweet, she was also very talented! I loved the color she used and my haircut was perfect. In fact, I loved the color so much that I contacted her after I got home to find out what she had used so my local hairdresser could use it as well. Susie is very nice and she made me feel so welcome. My hair turned out great - even my husband noticed and commented on how pretty it looked. I am a seasonal visitor and wanted to get my hair colored and cut. I read other reviews and decided to go to Salon 41 because of all of the positive reviews. I am so glad I went. Rhonda was my stylist and could not ask for anyone better. She took a lot of time discussing what styles I was interested in and what she felt would look good on me and also matched my hair color perfectly. For the first time I went to Studio 41 to get a haircut and overall color. Tish was my stylist and did a WONDERFUL job. She decided I needed highlights as well and was able to move around her schedule to accommodate the additional time needed. She listened to me, asked good questions . This was by far the best cut/color I experienced in the last few years. Also, I liked the fact she just used a brush and blow dryer - exactly what I would do at home. I don't like it when stylists spend time with curling irons, etc. knowing full well my hair will never look like that when I do it. Jan read more

I have visited this salon twice from a recommendation from a friend and was very pleased to find a place I felt comfortable at and received a good cut. I booked a third appointment and due to traffic I was thirteen minutes late. I was told I needed to reschedule as each appointment is allotted a half hour and I just chewed up thirteen minutes of my time so I must forfeit my 11:15 appointmentI was told that I could be seen at 3. I was so taken aback I walked out muttering I would not be back. I walked out to the parking lot crying and after speaking to my husband and rescheduling all of the rest of my appointments for the day I called back to secure the 3 o'clock appointment only to be told I was not a good fit for the salon.......I can't believe a hair salon that provides a service can now pick and chose their clients. I guess they forget that they provide a service and are paid for that service. It must be nice to be able to pick and chose who you want as a client. I guess they are running their business like a Dr. Office that accepts Medicaid allotting a specific time for each client.....in this case thirty minutes......best of luck studio 41....I hope your business continues to thrive and losing a client has no effect on your business. If you want a cut here better be on time or you will be left in the parking lot as I was.....frazzled and distraught. And to think I waited a week to even get this appointment........ read more

Overpriced for the quality. Very unfriendly environment for a first time client. I tried to make small talk with the stylist and she would barely even respond. Very rushed because she had other clients, but no problem taking my money for a mediocre cut. Very snooty but what can you expect in Naples, FL? Definitely will not be returning. read more

I had a destination wedding here in Naples and I was not sure who to turn to for my hair stylist for the big day. I found Salon 41 on yelp and decided to give them a try. I had a consultation with my assigned stylist Rhonda and also came in for a trial hair style before the big day. She did an amazing job and made my hair look exactly like the picture I brought in!! I would recommend her to any one of my friends as well as the salon. They allowed us to bring in snacks and mimosas as the bridal party got their hair done at the Salon. They made sure everyone was comfortable and were happy when they left. I do have to mention that some of the girls are use to doing older style of hair - keep in mind to be specific and show pictures of what you are looking to achieve. Other than that I have no complaints. They defiantly helped make my day special and at a very good price! I would go back in a heartbeat! read more
