TLC Nails & Spa - Gel overlay and polish with Peter love my nails 8 years now! The Best - Nail Salons Near Me - Naples, Florida

I just had a bad experience they quoted 50 dollars and suggested gel polish. When I went to pay they added 20 for the polish. I have gone there for 10 years. Needless to say it will be my last visit read more

TLC nalon salon is conveniently located off naples blvd in north naples. The parking was easy. Upon entering, the salon looked clean and tidy. I was greeted by 1 employee. It was a normal experience and the biggest complaint was not having a dryer system. I had pedicure and was asked to stay In chair to dry. I spent 20 min waiting. After leaving, I spent another 4 hours taking it easy to confirm drying process. I had to run out later in day and wore easy slip Ons. Well- after so Many hours, my polish never completely set and nails got smudged. Kinda ruined. I would not try this salon - for me, not having a good drying system makes a difference. The nail tech was not good. read more

By far the worst at pedicure ever. I have had pedicures for over 50 Years. First time I tried this salon - few months back I was thrilled with my pink and white acrylics but absolutely horrified with the pedicure. I even tried to blame it on old polish. It was all over my cuticles and just a mess. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up To someone having a bad day... Visit number 2 Pink and white french acrylics $60. Ok Halfway through, I noticed that Peter Coated over the spray paint?!?!!!?????? Kept saying clean up later but you couldn't because it was under the acrylic.... Then I was charged $17 for Peter to put 1 coat of their old polish over my existing polish to shine up For a few hours of a dinner then I planed to go back to get a pedicure. Shame on them Half the time they claim not to understand or look at you like they are clueless. They also pass the buck within each other . Apparently they don't take the return customer or faithful clients seriously. $17 dollars for 1 minute of old Polish Wow! read more

Went in to get a gel manicure or a dip. Everyone was busy but I only had to wait 5 min. Once a manicurist was available I sat down and she decided that the dip manicure was best for me, because it was strong, I was ok with that. I've never had a manicure that didn't involve me soaking my hands and softening my cuticles. I never touched water this entire time. Nothing that was used during my manicure was sanitized. I won't be going back to this salon. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. This is the absolute worst nail salon I've ever been to. I really don't think the technicians, if you can even call them that, are properly trained. I asked for dip. She didn't even ask if I wanted tips, and started shaping my nails. They're short and brittle from years of acrylics. She said they're an ok length for dip. She started and literally didn't extend the dip to the base of my nail. One nail was way shorter than the other and at the end she cut me TWICE. I should've asked for my money back, hopefully this saves you yours. read more

This place is incredible. It's beautiful on the inside, sparkling tile, and you can tell it's clean from the get-go. It was my first time going in and nothing made me even question this place. I saw reviews on here for Peter, and decided to make an appointment. I was not disappointed at all! He did a great job with my acrylics and I'm pretty picky. It's tough to find someone who gets the coffin shape right, and he nailed it! (Pun intended.) He's super knowledgeable and friendly, and even double checked my nails when he was ringing me out to make sure they were perfect! I'm definitely coming back! read more

I am new to this area; previously a customer of TLC Nails in Ft. Lauderdale, where I had an amazing nail tech! After researching, I made an appointment to Peter, who had rave reviews for dip nails. Made an appointment for a Tuesday when less crowded; but still seated right next to another client- no spacing of 6 feet. Instead of wrapping the nails for removal of old dip material, the drill was used excessively to remove most of it. Repeatedly, I could feel the drill cut my cuticles; even after I mentioned they were sensitive. The positive was the nails look great, but the sores I have from the drill, file and buffer left sores and inflammation around each cuticle. 4 days later, I wince at the pain. Unfortunately, I cannot agree with all the positive ratings for Peter... still looking for the allusive "nail god"! read more

Check prices before you go. I went with my mom and we both got clear polish manicure and regular polish pedicure. No specialty pedicure or anything, & no massage... it was $60 per person!!! $120 for that!! And as they were starting on my moms pedicure, we had to request newly sanitized tools because they were going to use the previous clients he had just finished. Nice people but overall cleanliness and pricing was very shocking. read more

So I'm still very happy with this salon 4 months later. I've been going here every two weeks for my nails, and a few times for a pedicure. Everyone here is very friendly and I never need an appointment. The longest I've had to wait is 10 minutes during a very busy time of the day. So far, Brian and Kim are my favorites- but I like everyone there. They always offer water, soda or wine :) Today I got a surprise- a thank you card with a nice gift. Wow! That is the way to do business! I am very thankful for that, and will be sad when I have to go back to Michigan for a few months, lol. There are many salons in the area- and this one is the best! :) read more

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Amazing nail tech Peter did an amazing ombré on my nails. (The woman who sits next to him Julia can also do a beautiful ombré as well... hard to come by) He also straightened my middle nail and made sure every nail was perfect. Very thorough job. 10/10 would recommend! So so friendly! read more

We had a satisfactory experience at TLC nails. We were visiting Naples and this spot had great Yelp reviews, so we decided to give it a shot! They have a lot of colors to choose from in both regular polish and shellac. Plus they have a lot of great magazines-always a bonus for me! We got two shellac pedicures and my mother got a shellac mani. They do not have their prices posted anywhere, which I don't really appreciate because you never really know what you're getting-especially as a tourist. In addition, my mother felt pressured by the gentleman doing her manicure to get gel polish, something she doesn't really prefer. But the staff is friendly, and my shellac pediacure has lasted for weeks, and still going strong. The basic pedicure is pretty basic, but my technician gave me a good massage! read more

This was my first experience at this nail salon. We were there for gel pedicures, and this place was able to take our three reservations together. I thought the interior was very luxe and made for a nice experience. However, there was no list of prices or options for the different pedicures, I was just quoted two prices verbally and when I asked what the difference was, the staff said they were the same services, but the deluxe version had spa products. I wasn't impressed with the services performed, for example, they didn't do much exfoliation of my feet and the massage was very, very light pressure. For the price of the pedicure (over $30), it did not feel like I was getting superior service. I have to say, however, the paint on my nails was very neat, and being the gel polish, it has lasted very well. read more

If i was able to give this place 10 stars, i would! I CAN HONESTLY SAY My EXPERIENCE WAS BY FAR THE BEST! After looking at some of the reviews I decided to check this establishment out myself, I was greeted as if I was a regular. And quickly seated. The service was impeccable! I wanted try out the 'ombré French tip' and luckily Peter was available to do them. Seeing how cold I was from being caught in the rain, Peter went above and beyond by bringing me a towel and turning the thermostat up to ensure that I was comfortable. I've been to plenty of nail salons and none of which has ever done that! The staff were very engaging and literally put their customers needs first. read more

first time here. On my way to Costco and decided to do a drop in . One other person in salon.was waited on immediately. nail tech was gentle. lots of over run with polish. did gel pedicure. and gel was not set and was dull on few toes ( stuck to sock ) had to return next day and they redid top coat , took two more times to set polish. trouble with poor product or poor light not sure I'm not a nail tech. but will not come back . Owner tried to offer me wine ( 11:00 ) . I had left a very generous tip day before, girl was very sweet but salon needs better product and equipment. Also some cleaning. First and last time there. read more

Great shop in the entire city of Naples.. I stopped by to get my nails redone and after many disappointing visits to the shops around Naples and ft. Myers. .I finally found the shop that offers terrific customer service in an upscale environment. You are offered wine while you get your services and the prices are very affordable compared to its location. Tim, Steven and Brian are sweethearts and they are the perfect example of customer service! I am now a permanent customer and law student who spends a lot of money to have my nails and feet looking good. I would not suggest going elsewhere. .take it from someone who has been all over Naples. ..This shop is like no other! read more

Very disappointed especially after reading all the wonderful reviews. I made an appointment for powder manicure with Peter as the reviews were raving about him. First-do nail salons not soak the nails anymore and give a manicure?! My cuticles were shaved off with the electric file. My nails weren't hand trimmed or even shaped. Peter said to me he's very particular, so im thinking to myself this is awesome, im glad I waited for him(as I was early and they asked if I wanted someone else). Right hand went ok, once he got to the other, there weren't as many dips in the powder so the colors aren't as vibrant as the other hand. My left hand wasn't buffed to make smooth, very bumpy and part of the glitter was sanded off and too much near the cuticle was sanded off as my friend even said, oh your nails grew from last night?! Lol Nope too much was taken off! I left with the hardened powder all over my fingers and under my nails. Just disappointing as I thought I finally found someone as my nails are thin and need to be treated delicately. read more

This is my one and only nail salon to go to in Naples! Peter is amazing at all nail styles but I always go to him for dip polish on my fingers and gel on my toes. He does an amazing job. Before I found him I was still going here and all of the nail technicians that I had were great too. They have a great variety of colors and it is very clean and relaxing. They don't have TV playing in the background which at first I thought was boring when I would have my hands wrapped in foil but then I decided to take the opportunity to live in the moment, listen to the relaxing music, enjoy the quiet and of course the massage chair. Definitely recommend, very clean too. read more
