I had a wonderful pedicure but when it came to getting my manicure done it was an absolute nightmare and the customer service was atrocious. Overall cleanliness was amazing especially during the pandemic but the mannerisms of one employee were so awful it ruined my whole experience and I will never return. One of the male nail techs was constantly complaining about the length I had chosen for my acrylic nails. He refused to do any nail designs and when it came to showing him a picture of an idea I had for my nails he said that it was Photoshopped and my nails would look nothing like it. I didn't appreciate him mentioning he was gonna be late for lunch due to my long nails. He way over charged me for some simple nails I could have gotten done at the mall if I would have known better. He told me that my long nails would hurt my child. He kept complaining about how stiff my hands were which made me very anxious and uncomfortable. He just kept complaining and told me that I should have went to the nail salon closer to my home. I only came here because it was highly recommended and I drove quite a far way to experience quality service but never again. People need to know how bad this place is. My wife and daughter just came back and told me they used cold water with nothing in it for the soak just put scrub on and wiped it off. I don't want to be too harsh but to me the essence of a pedicure is to remove the calluses from your feet and make them smooth. That did not happen here. The lady doing the pedicure wouldn't even have used the "cheese grater" if I hadn't said anything despite my inquiring whether they use a "cheese grater" or razor to remove calluses when I got there. My feet CLEARLY needed the calluses removed. My big problem with this place was that my feet were not smooth- she barely used the pumice stone at all! Getting a manicure at Paradise Nails & Spa was a positive experience only in the fact that it reminded me of why I prefer to my nails myself. I could have done a much better job than what was done to my poor unfortunate nails at this salon. While visiting my friend in Naples I wanted to get a manicure to get my nails ready for my upcoming wedding. I figured they would take care of my cuticles, buff and file to a nice shape and then I could upkeep in the weeks to follow. Oh how wrong was I. Strike 1: the technician over zealously cut my cuticles to the point of making me bleed. He apologized. But blood at a nail salon? Where an infection isn't far away? Seems like that should be avoided. Strike 2: the age of the nail polishes used. I asked for a French manicure ($5 extra) and they use OPI (yay!). However, their OPI was so old it must have remembered the Reagan administration. There was a trail of threadlike polish that would trail the bottle with each stroke. The technician would wipe it away with each coat. Spend the $8 on a new bottle. Seriously. Note: Actual manicure looked fine. My nails were pretty short so he did the best he could. The problem came 24 hours later: Strike 3: the manicure began to chip horribly less than 36 hours after completion. I didn't expect it to last weeks upon weeks like a gel, but I thought I would get at least 3-4 days for my $40. But no. The polish was so brittle the chips were horribly noticeable. Which led me to try to remove it a few days later. Key word try. Strike 4: you would think that if nail polish starts chipping, it would be easy to remove - since it was already coming off on its own. But no. I had to soak my nails in acetone like I had a strong coat of glitter nail polish. Total removal time took more than 20 minutes. Moral of the story? Do your nails at home if you want to avoid #1, 2, 3 and 4. Or just avoid this salon. read more

I walked in for a pedicure and No-one acknowledged me or looked up except another customer. When they finally did acknowledge me, they were not very warm or friendly. There was a man worker talking almost nonstop and somewhat animated. It was messy and a little dirty. Boxes of stuff were sitting around. The service was very slow and interrupted several times. So at first, I left this place a 5 star review. I take that back after a week of getting my nails done here they were ruined. I've always gotten dipping powder at a nail salon in plantation where I used to live and this place robbed me. They used a cheap gel coat that lasted a week and was chipped and almost every nail of mine broke off! Whenever I get dip they last me 3-4 weeks and I usually pay $30. Sure my toes wound up looking fine, but for awhile there, I thought it was going to turn into a catastrophe. First of all, I typically paint my nails in an assortment of colors and I wanted to do the HOT PINK, ORANGE & YELLOW motif, however, this place doesn't have HOT ORANGE-- like BLIND YOU orange. It only has UGLY PASTEL oranges, which just WILL NOT FLY. Ha! You may all be thinking THANK GOODNESS they didn't have orange because that sounds hideous, but I assure you, it's cute... My nail technician even "cooed" over my previous nail colors prior to removing the polish. I wound up choosing a DARK BLUE and a hot yellow... But was pretty un easy about that color choice. And even after my nail "pro" finished painting my toes, I wasn't overly impressed until... I suggested we throw on a little sparkle! Now my toes look like the solar system, which I guess is pretty cool. That being said, my nail technician seemed to get a bit offended when I told her my nails needed a bit more pop. Whoa now, it has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with the nail polish. She even rudely made me get up and go pick the sparkle for my toes, even though I was half asleep on the chair and I told her exactly what I wanted. Aside from that, my lady did an ok job... My favorite part was definitely the exfoliating scrub, but I can't give her much of the credit for that... Hats off the the exfoliating beads in the scrub! ;) My sister got her nails done as well and I think she was happy with the result however she told me the guy who focused on her toes beat the crap out of her feet. It's not like she kicked him in the face when he was buffing her heels, so not sure why he decided to get angry at her feet. My pedicure was $35... Was it worth that much, no, but oh well, I guess I really need to not compare prices to what I may find in LA, the land of $35 MANI PEDI combos! At least I can call my toes: SPACE TOES! read more

Slightly long review, but this place deserves it. I was here on vacation to visit my father and he suggested I get a mani/pedi. I don't typically get manicures or pedicures, but I figured what the heck. We drove around for a while and and spotted this place. I was a little skeptical, but I walked in anyway. I was immediately greeted with a friendly "hello how can we help you". I asked if they accepted walk in's for manicures and they said yes. This wonderful women (ANNA) meticulously filed my nails, pushed back my cuticles, and cut every single speck of dead skin from them. About 1/4 of the way through I asked if she had time to do a pedicure cuz I forgot to ask before and she jumped right up & checked her schedule and said yes. Flash forward to the pedicure. They offered me wine (I was instantly impressed). She then set my water temperate and began working on my feet. I got an exfoliation on my legs and a hot towel after oil and lotion. She then pained all my nails and even took the time to clean up with nail polish remover afterwards. While I was getting my pedicure my father walked in and said that he wished he got one. I said to him well we can see if they have time tomorrow and one of the gentleman working there said "does he want one?" I said yes. And the gentleman said "she can take him right there". Feel pampered every time you visit here. It's great. The equipment is modern and very comfortable. The family owners are polite and cheery, and walk-ins are encouraged. Waxing is done in a private room, while pedicures have the next level of privacy away from the front doors. Fees for manicures, pedicures, and waxing are very affordable, so I like to add a generous tip. When I mentioned my friend's recent experience in Malaysia, my Paradise Nails friends laughed and laughed. The pedicure fad in Asia is to submerge one's tootsies in a bowl of live fish. The fish nibble away like indentured vacuum cleaners. The folks at Paradise said that quality control is tough for that technique because fish don't know the dfiference between foot massage and nail attack. So I doubt that we'll be seeing Fish Foot Massage anytime soon in SW FL. Too bad. I'd be tempted to turn up just to watch the new contact sport in town. read more

This place is very disappointing in nail craft. No lines are even the paint job was terrible (the foot massage was honestly the only good thing and that HURT). both my friend and I went and both of us could NOT stop telling each other how unhappy we were with our nails. They cannot do COFFIN nails (so don't try) and they cut up your cuticle, get the acrylic ALL over your fingers and then LEAVE you to clean and pick it off and of any of that wasn't sucky for spending 100 a person pedi and mani, the top "matte" coat (because they DO NOT have matte nailpolish, another thing I could NOT get an answer out of them asking for matte selection) is globes over my nail and cuticle so if I peel it my nails will be ruined!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! read more
