I called on a Wednesday afternoon. No one answered and the mailbox was full so I wasn't even able to leave a message. They must have checked their Called ID, I received a return call from a man who was not only unprofessional but incredibly rude. He hung up on me while I was mid sentence when I said who I was and why I was calling. Due to the terrible customer service I felt the need to share my experience with the community so they spend their hard on dollars elsewhere. I should have read the previous reviews as other prospective customers received the same terrible service. I almost never write a bad review, but this one was warranted. I had an OM Signature Massage with Yenlys and it was absolutely amazing. She had the perfect combination of deep massage and assisted stretching, which made a huge difference. Massage was ok but the bait and switch with payment was the problem. they didn't honor what i was told the charge was and referred to hidden policy. there is nowhere that it states that you cannot use a first time appointment discount and a gift card at the same time. Instead of charging a service fee they charge you the total amount if you have to cancel within 24 hours. My boyfriend made me a 3pm facial appointment as a surprise treat.. about an hour later they called him to say that they were running late and likely would not be able to take me til 3:45. He said ok and that he would check with me.. I called back a few minutes later to let them know that i actually wouldn't be able to make the new time slot since we had early dinner reservations.. they refused to let me cancel and charged him $50 for a "late cancellation fee" because he had said "ok" just a few minutes earlier.. even though they were the ones that pushed my appointment back by 45 minutes and he said he'd check with me first. Over priced for the services. I received a hydra facial and a signature massage. I've had many hydra facial before. They don't use the hydra facial products and performed 1 pass ( should be 4) then left a mask on for 20 min. Not sure what my tech was doing for those 20 min but typically an arm/hand massage is performed for the price they charge. I felt it was very generic. The massage left much to be desired. She spent 30 seconds on my neck, didn't address my glute and hip and used forearms on my back which didn't address any of my knots. All of this was discussed and filled out on a form prior. I enjoyed an amazing reflexology foot massage and Ionic detox foot bath today via a Groupon. I was greeted with a warm welcome by the owner, the spa was clean and nicely set up. Dale gave me an incredible foot massage focusing firmly on trigger points, just the right amount of pressure to my liking and necessity with bad feet while I lied on a warm table and relaxed. The ionic foot bath was so interesting watching the water change colors as yuck was out of your feet. They give you a list showing what the colors and specks represent for you. This spa has some unique services and that is why my friend and I decided to try it. First, it is a lovely, clean space in a beautiful complex. Overall, my visit to the Om Spa was heavenly. We both tried the meditative light experience which was very interesting! My friend found it very relaxing while I found it very stimulating. What a unique experience and I highly recommend it. I am a big fan of reflexology in general and feel that it is very restorative and beneficial for health. I had a 1/2 hr reflexology session with Joyce and she is excellent. Even though it was a short session, I felt that Joyce covered all the major areas where work was needed and applied just the right amount of pressure. I also had a pedicure (the room overlooks a scenic pond/lake). I am very pleased with my pedicure too. All in all, a wonderful experience. I will be back! Also my friend and I are local residents and not on vacation. We took advantage of the specials they had advertised on-line as we weren't looking to pay vacation prices of $350 and up for spa services. Not a Zen Experience! I paid for my mother to have a reflexology treatment here as a birthday gift and she was extremely disappointed in the experience. First, the spa looks nothing like the photos on the web site. For her treatment she was put in a small room with several mani stations and pedi chairs, where she sat for her reflexology. Next, the technician didn't perform reflexology and when she asked him a few questions he didn't even seem to know the basics. In the end, she got a mediocre food rub in a setting that was anything but restful. The website is misleading regarding both the space and the services. My first time for a Swedish massage at OM was a nice experience. The front desk was a pleasure to speak with, they ushered me into a lovely room with beverages while I filled out first time paperwork. I asked what the cost was for their 60 minute massage; when I arrived I was told it was a 50 Minute massage. That was a disappointment. As for my massage- the young lady was so nice, soft spoken and had hands made of silk. Overall, the order in which she massaged me was odd. And the flow didn't go very nicely. So while I liked certain areas she massaged, I didn't like the massage overall. I appreciate them getting me in the same day I called. I will try it again. read more

I bought a couples massage and a facial from the OM spa as a gift for my boyfriend and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. I was originally drawn to the spa because of high ratings and prices significantly lower than the hotel spas. We got a 50 min Swedish couples massage but I couldn't help but feel jipped by the whole experience. First when I filled out the new client paper work I circled my shoulders and upper back as an area to focus on. The woman came to talk to me and upsell me to deep tissue. I declined but just said to do what she can in the realm of Swedish. During the massage, she barely massaged my back at all and spent about 30 of my 40 mins massaging my arms and legs which is not what I was looking for. It was basically like she was putting lotion on me. We arrived at 950 but weren't taken back to our massage room until about 1015 for a 10 o'clock massage. We were out of our beds and dressed by 1050. That is insane! Not the 50 min massage we paid for! Overall, I get a much better experience at a chain like Massage Envy or Hand and Stone. It was relaxing and peaceful spa but the massage itself was totally weak and not what I expected from a supposed 50 min Swedish massage. My boyfriend still has a facial scheduled so hopefully that's better but I will never purchase another treatment here. Huge disappointment especially since I wanted to try other treatments like dermaplane, float spa, and foot detox. Lastly the owner will not apply the Yelp offer unless you ask for it so be sure to ask. I didn't even get my $10 off for checking in! Hugely disappointed huge waste of money. Ps- don't wear cute clothes to the spa because they use straight oil. My skin is so greasy it's disgusting and I'm hoping my dress isn't ruined. read more
