I was definitely in need of a pedicure, but wasn't sure where to go until I remembered this salon. My previous reviews were great and price is reasonable. That has changed a lot. They were able to get me on same day which was a plus and massage chairs were the seating of choice. The salon was clean but defiantly dated. I got the regular pedicure, which took about 30 minutes this included the foot massage, clipping, cleaning, callous shave, leg scrub, and hot towels for $30 + tip. I do feel that the pedicure was rushed, given that she left plenty of dead skin on the heels of my feet, Their are defiantly better salons or at least service out there so I will likely look elsewhere that is more thorough. read more

Do NOT go to Andy. I actually like this salon -- Bo normally does my nails and does an amazing job, but he wasn't there, so I saw Andy instead. Big mistake. I asked for a soak off, but Andy filed everything down, including my natural nails. Now they're uneven, bumpy, and painful. I paid $48 for a soak off and gel manicure that looked and felt terrible. I didn't tip him -- and I wasn't going to -- because the service was awful. As I was leaving, he literally called me back inside to ask why I didn't tip, then brought another coworker into it and started getting upset. She also asked me why I didn't tip. That's completely unprofessional. A tip is earned not owed. If the service is bad, don't expect a reward. They do a really great job here. They are really good at helping pick out colors and match colors. They are very gentle with the hands and feet and very detailed. I asked for extra sparkles on my nails, but not too chunky and they gave me really light and tasteful sparkle that was perfect for the event I was going to. When I started vacationing in Naples, I discovered Babi based on Yelp reviews and knew I needed to try it out and I was blown away! I have since moved to Naples and have continued to go to Babi on a regular basis. However, all of that changed after today's appointment. First, I had scheduled an appointment for 2:30 for a spa pedicure and a dip powder removal/regular manicure. I arrive 10 minutes early, which allowed me to pick my color. What I noticed was the person I scheduled with was working on another client and after looking at my watch, it was beyond my appointment time, so another employee started my pedicure and let me know my person would be with me shortly. Fine. After my person arrives and continues/finishes the service, I'm ready to sit down at the manicure station to start the manicure. Instead, I'm being ushered to the front desk to pay for my pedicure. I brought up that I had scheduled my appointment for what I listed above. Instead, I get the scheduling book in my face telling me that I'm only scheduled for a pedicure. Trying not to get loud, I again said when I was there two weeks prior, I had added the dip powder removal/regular manicure. The female owner/manager said she would take care of me. Eventually the employee who started my pedicure finished off my manicure. I was in such a bad mood, from what I thought would be a relaxing experience, that I paid my bill, scheduled another appointment, and left the nail salon. As I'm heading to my car, I hear a voice and I turn around and find the employee chasing after me wondering about her tip! That made me more angry than I already was that I got into my car. As I was about to leave, I turned my car off, walked back into Babi and cancelled my recently scheduled appointment. I will not be returning to Babi based on this experience. read more

This was by far the WORST experience ever!!! Customer service is non existent. The staff was rude, unfriendly and unaccommodating. I got a mani/pedi with the dip polish on my hands. I was not given a massage nor a foot scrub. I had to ask for lotion on my hands and was scoffed at!! The rude lady I was with used a grinder to remove my gel polish and did not wrap and carefully peel it off. She filed away the layers of my actual nails so that they are paper thin, peeling and all breaking. The dip started peeling off a couple of days later. DO NOT GO HERE!!! My family has all been here and had similar and even worse experiences. The place is packed and they just shuffle people through with not care for the customer. read more

It really depends on who you get. I've been super pleased here and then the complete opposite. Just had the most rushed and messy pedicure and don't think I'll be coming back. They also charge $10 extra for callus removal during a pedicure that's already $45 ... pretty ridiculous. I used to really enjoy coming here but it doesn't seem like they can keep up with the influx of business. You book an appointment and still wait. The regular polish options are pretty much all outdated winter / dark old lady colors and they purchase fake versions of OPI and Essie. read more

I got a regular mani pedi, and my nail tech was very nice and gentle. My cuticles look a little rough but that's ok. I found a little trouble understanding what she was saying but I suppose that isn't her fault. This nail spa was the quietest nail spa I have ever been to! I was visiting Naples and one of my nails broke so I stopped into 5 different nail salons and no-one would fix my one nail. Babi Nail was my last try and Im delighted to write this review. Peter was my nail technician and he was so nice and professional. He was patient and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I decided to try a full set with dipping powder that he suggested and it was the best full set that Ive ever had. I got back home to Galveston and I cant find anyone on the island to do such a great job as Peter. When traveling back to Naples, I will definitely stop in to say Hi and get another set done with Peter!!!! He deserves 10 Stars! read more

If you like hearing people yelling in Mandarin and being rushed through your nail experience, this is the spot for you. Instead of turning down the walk ins that came in, they would rush you through, leave you at a station while they did someone else's nails, as they yelled in mandarin to each other. Very oblivious to what a relaxing nail salon is supposed to be. Don't worry tho! If you complain about the rushed job or experience, they will use excuses and not acknowledge the situation. Consistently good service every time I come in to get my nails done. Fairly priced, clean, and friendly staff. There is more of a relaxing vibe here - no one is talking loudly on phones or yelling across the salon - which is a welcomed difference from typical mail salons. I wasn't going to leave a review but I feel like I should share my experience. The nail technician jammed the nail clippers under my toe nail into my skin. Hard. I yanked my foot back hard enough to hit my heel on the side of the basin and she said sorry and that there was no blood. I mean, it is the next day after and I just woke up and my toe is still hurting. Why was she jamming around so hard anyway? They were the pointy nail clippers.. meant for clipping and not jabbing under somebody's nail with force. Anyway, when inspecting my wound (under the toe nail) I realized that the nail polish isn't even filled in to the edge of my nails. A few nails aren't even painted all the way to the tip of the nail. This is hands down the worst pedicure I've had in my life. There appears to be only one layer of nail polish. Perhaps they only give you one layer when you "upgrade" to the more expensive polish. Doesn't make sense. Now I am trying to decide the best way to treat my wound to make sure it doesn't become infected. I wonder how they sanitize their tools. It could just be the one technician who doesn't do a great job, but the man who appeared to be the manager of some sort was working at a chair right next to her and he didn't say anything at all. If she was new (she didn't seem to be) he could have at least guided her. The other reviews don't seem to reflect bad experiences. Perhaps it was just a bad day. But it seems like if they hurt you from being careless, then they should make it up to you by at least giving you a good quality pedicure that you paid for in the first place. Maybe try this place out if you feel like rolling the dice. I will not be going back there again. Ugh. Very annoyed. read more

Babi was probably the best nail salon I've ever been to. I'm visiting from out of town and needed my nails done but it was already 7pm and this was the only place open. Once there, the place is huge and clean with more workers (and customers) than I've ever seen at a nail salon. Despite this, I was helped immediately. I had Julia, who I had a great conversation with and who did an awesome job with my powder dipped nails. She spent time shaping and making sure they were perfect. I can't stop looking at them!!
