This is my fav spot in Tustin for donuts. Always a huge selection of old school and fun creations alike, plus good drip coffee and great breakfast sandwiches. I love their glazed twist donuts, maple bars, Oreo cookie raised donuts and the bacon, egg, ham and cheese bagel. Service is fast and friendly and has a locally owned vibe. The parking situation is interesting with only a handful of spots but people move relatively quickly in and out so there's usually at least one spot open. They also have a drive thru which is pretty unique for a donut shop in OC, give them a try when you're nearby!

I went to purchase six donuts and a breakfast sandwich. It was a busy day and a treat for the kiddos and a quick but to eat for me. I was starving but could not finish it. The bagel was overly greasy and very bland from the bagel the cheese and eggs. The greasiness was too much and so I ended up just eating the inside so not to waste the food. The feedback I got on the old fashion donut it was greasy. Maybe an off day but all of the seven donuts and this sandwich were 24. Really nice that they have a drive thru there.

I live 5 minutes from DK's Donuts and figured I would finally give this place a try! I visited on a Saturday @10am and the parking lot was a bit compact. On the bright side, I like that you have the option of ordering via drive-thru or in-person. I ordered an egg, ham, & cheese croissant paired with a medium iced mocha latte. The croissant was delicious and the coffee really hit the spot. I'll have to try their donuts on my next visit!

One of my favorite spots to get donuts in the OC area. It's a fairly small stand in between streets and there is very limited parking available. They have a fairly large selection of donuts, bagels, and hot food items available. My favorite things to order are the blueberry and red velvet donuts. They also sometimes have ube donuts, but they usually only make them on weekends. We happened to be there at a time when the blueberry donuts had just been made and they were still warm, so it was a very delicious experience. They are able to help each person very quickly and while you're inside you can see them making the donuts behind the display cases. There's both inside and outside seating available and it's a good go to stop if you're looking for a sweet treat in the morning.

The OG of SoCal donut shops! I watched a documentary on the SoCal donut revolution in the 70s, and DK and other small mom and pop donut shops exploded. I decided to try it and it's awesome. The apple fritter is like it used to be, large, sweet glaze, tender inside, and chunks of apples. Many shop have shrunk their apple fritters The cronut was all the craze, but still so tasty. Flaky croissant layers, tender and crispy, topped with a sweet glaze. Absolutely delicious! There's a donut for everyone.

So amazing! I requested custom donuts. The set I got was $50 and I chose the colors and toppings. They got it done in about 2 days and I paid in advance so all I had to do was go pick it up. The density of the donuts was very fluffy and heavy.

DK's--Donut Kingdom? They are not associated with DK's in Santa Monica, but there isn't much info on their IG or FB, so not sure the story behind DK, except that it is amazing! Have done take-out from here several times. Food: -donuts are really good -great selection/variety -they make themed ones around the holidays, which is always fun -they also have amazing breakfast sandwiches (if you aren't in the mood for donuts) and smoothies, although I've never tried them -can do special orders for birthdays, etc. Service: -always very prompt and polite -recommend going early as lines start to create later in the a.m. (you know the food is good when there is a line for it). Pricing: -reasonable and in-line with local pricing Ambiance: -I've never eaten at the actual shop -they do have a patio for outdoor seating Summary: Amazing breakfast foods at a reasonable price. They do custom orders; which is an added benefit for those special occasions. Support your local "donut shop".

ALWAYS and forever, the best donuts on earth. He makes a "regular glaze donut" not so regular. The donut holes are my go to, so sweet and melt in your mouth, literally. You can't go wrong with any choice here. From sandwiches to smoothies, it's all amazing. And the service is top notch. Very homey over there. I lived right next to Dks for 23 years and still find myself driving back to Tustin after moving a few cities over. ITS WORTH IT!!

What sets this donut shop apart from others is the freshness and lightness of the dough. Before KK you rarely come across a fresh out of the fryer warm donut. Like 85 degrees, high volume is their friend. read more

We have the same initials, how can I say no? They have maple syrup donuts with real strips of crisp bacon on them. Oh my... They have donuts adorned with childhood cereals on colorful frosting. They have flaky cronuts with fresh strawberries, others with bacon, etc. They even have specialty flavored donuts like purple yam, red velvet, and blueberries... Along the side, you see a row of coffee dispensers with interesting flavors like Hawaiian Hazelnut, Blueberry, Colombian Chocolate, etc. This place is great. I found my happy place :) read more

Came here on a Yelp recommendation looking for a quick simple chocolate glazed donut before work. I was underwhelmed with what I got. I grant that it was Friday morning 6:45am of Memorial Day weekend and several other customers got there ahead of me with multiple dozen orders... but if you have what looks like 6-8 people on your staff and the one person that usually fills counter orders is busy with the longest box order ever, that maybe you might have a second or third person take counter orders to alleviate the wait time? It would have been faster for me to walk out, get in my car, and pull up to the drive in window... all for one single chocolate glazed donut which turned out to be super average. The chocolate glaze tasted sugary and sweet but basically had no chocolate flavor to it... Bummer! read more

Seriously, what's not to love? First of all, you can get your donuts through a drive-thru. That's key because if you are feeling slothy enough to make donuts & coffee your go-to power breakfast, chances are would like to do so while remaining in your PJs. Or maybe that's just me. I like a good cake donut & I like sprinkles....and that's right, I'm not 5 years old. This is why I like DK's so much....they elevate the sprinkled donut to the adult palate (without forcing that whole hipster fancy donut vibe down our throats). They know how to make donuts pretty and taste good. Huzzah! These are donuts you'd be proud to bring into the office. As for taste along, I especially recommend the chocolate/chocolate sprinkle. read more

I like donuts but have never said I love a particular donut place... until I tried DK's. Foiled in my attempt to catch The Rye Truck in Old Town Tustin, I found DK, and even though they had really slim pickings by 10am on a Saturday morning, the few we snagged were excellent! Came back again today, and with more choices, were able to sample more. They did not disappoint! Why I like these donuts - they're not as light as air, meaning that, upon finishing one, you don't feel like there is still something missing and want to sniff around the box weighing the pros and cons of commiting the sin of eating two donuts. (Which you know you will give into - maybe just a quarter this visit, a quarter in another 30 minutes, then near the end of the day, scarfing whatever no one else ate.) But with one donut from DK's, I feel like I had just enough to eat, and not overly sugary. My favs: buttermilk, old-fashioned, coconut, Samoa. The other's favs: cereal, glazed cake, maple bar. We are going to taste the blueberry later today. read more

I ordered a #7 with sausage and bacon and they put a HOT DOG ON IT!!!! I was so disgusted I called to complain and one of the employees had the audacity to say I was lying and it was "polish sausage" I had 5 people try it everyone said it's straight up hot dog. read more

This place is incredibly beautiful on a nice warm day (with sunshine). They have a super cute patio with a few plants and tables. Literally, a few, like 3 small tables. There's seating inside but when it's beautiful out, sitting inside would feel too confined. The ham and cheese croissants are awful bc of the generic cheese they use. Thats a shame. I'm sure their croissant sandwiches are a bit better but they are expensive (for what it is). I'll have to give them shot for their donuts. They need better hot sauce than tapatio. I'll still give them 4 stars. read more

So apparently their fun flavors like ube are mainly served on the weekends or you may be able to order those with advance notice. Their standard doughnuts are good and since I'm not a regular I wasn't aware what many of the flavors were. The staff was nice enough to explain but it would better helpful and quicker if they had labels. They are also not related to the DK in LA. My highlight of the assortment I chose was the glazed blueberry and the cronut knockoff. read more

For a donut shop this place is top notch. Looking for some donuts and maybe a bacon and egg sandwich? Then this is your spot. They have all the donuts and cronuts that you could want, plus some sandwiches as well. Good prices for donuts considering all the different choices you have. Cronuts are extra and are not able to be put in with your dozen, but that's understandable. Wait times change by the minute. Sometimes it's empty and other times the line is out the door. Either way they get you in and out pretty quickly. They always have enough staff to handle the crowds, so no complaints on wait times. There's inside seating as well as a patio with tables, chairs, and umbrellas in case you want some fresh air. If I'm in the area, I'm coming here for breakfast. read more

I always stop to pick up donuts for the office here. Its always fresh, and the selection is always on top. I love that we have this place to visit to grab a hot donut and spoil the office and clients. They do a great job keeping up in the morning with the donuts and keeping it stocked. It was my first time coming to DK's and I am impressed! I got a assorted dozen and mini donuts for my coworkers while enjoyed the fresh, warm maple bacon bar for myself. Wow. What a amazing experience for the bacon maple bar. Warm, soft, salty, crispy, sweet....aghhhhhh (picture Homer Simpson right about now). Another thing I like about DK's is that it's a mom and pop establishment. Looks like any other regular donut shop but with extraordinary experience. Believe in the magic of DK's. read more

DK's Donuts does not disappoint... I went there for lunch to try it out and I was very pleased. This donut shop lived up to the stereotype it was a little whole in the wall shop that was very unassuming. The guy running the shop was very pleasant and had great customer service he was willing to will and deal with me which is always a good thing. I got a half a dozen which included one original, two bear claws, one that I believe was orange or marmalade and a Boston cream. Let me tell you when I say moist I mean extremely close to a gourmet cake moist, and the bear claws were bursting with delectable blueberries and apples... overall they more than lived up to their reputation, the only thing is that they don't take credit cards and they charge you 1.50 to use a debit card. So definitely head over to DK's you will more than get your fill literally and figuratively!!!! read more

By far the most horrible service I ever got I ordered a roast beef sandwich, paid forward it and waited 30 minutes and they completely forgot my order. I asked why the wait, they said they just completely forgot!!! Great donuts and great food but sad and horrific customer service!!!! read more

Not your ordinary donut shop. DK's is my favorite in the area because it has so many different types of donuts. In addition to traditional donuts, DK's has unique type, including frosted donuts topped with cereal like fruity pebbles and froot loops. I typically don't like cronuts because I think they are a strange combinations of two pastries, but DK's has some great cronuts. These cronuts are crisp on the outside and soft in the inside. Living out in Fullerton, it's hard to find a decent donut place. But trust me, DK's Donuts is worth the drive. DK's Donuts has a wide variety and has you wanting more. I always get a dozen donuts for my family, 10/10 the best. read more

I'm spoiled ... can no longer go to other donut shops because they just don't compare. The maple bacon bar and maple bacon cronuts are amazing ... the freshest turkey sandwich around and I always order it on a bagel which is always fresh, they just have limited selection on bagels, but hey it's a donut shop not a bagel shop ... still, these are the best sandwiches around. These are always the best tasting donuts, high quality ingredients, best flavor ... my only wish is they would make more cronuts, especially the basic cronuts with vanilla glaze, because they almost always run out before I get there as I'm not an early morning person. Hands down the most delicious donuts around. I'm never disappointed and every time I would go to a different donut shop I would just be frustrated I didn't save my donut outing for this DK's ... so now that I'm so spoiled I don't waste my time with other donut shops anymore. read more

This place gets freaking packed and I would understand why! Honestly, I've never really had a sweet tooth for donuts. I came here to pick up some donuts my boyfriend wanted. I was pretty hungry so I decided to grab a donut. This super sweet lady recommended me the old school donuts. Let me tell you.... that shi is BOMB. We have made pit stops at this OG branch of Cream Pan in Tustin over the years. The location of…read morethis well-known Japanese/French bakery was unusual in that it's isolated in a corner of the El Camino Plaza. I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.

It was my first time getting the hot chocolate and I was honestly surprised with how yummy it was. It was not too chocolatey and not too milky. I've driven by Dk's Donuts countless before I decided to pay this place a visit. Every time I've driven by it, the parking lot is full and the drive thru line drags out to the street. This place is ALWAYS busy in the morning so I decided to try it out for myself. Coincidently, I came on National Donut Day and although they did not have any promotions going on, all proceeds went to The Salvation Army! How cool is that? A small business supporting their local charity. This place was packed and the display of donuts were already selling out quickly. I bought a dozen of donuts and my favorites were the original glazed, chocolate bars, chocolate chocolate donuts, and glazed blueberry. (All were fresh and still warm) I also ordered a number eight breakfast sandwich, which consisted of a croissant, egg, cheese, bacon, and sausage. It was mouth watering! Can't go wrong with bacon. I have yet to try the real fruit smoothies which look amazing as well. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. My mouth is watering just typing all of this. I reccomend that you come here during the early morning hours where you'll find donuts in the making and freshly made donuts on display. Pros: - Warm glazed, chocolate, and maple donuts. - Bagel and Crossaint sandwiches are delicious and seem to be be quite popular. (My favorite is the cream cheese, tomato, and avocado topped with lemon pepper. Had an ube donut from DK's in Tustin for $1.25. The donut itself was good; it was moist on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. The donut didn't taste like ube, all I tasted was coconut (because it had coconut all over it). $1.25 seems high for a donut that looks and tastes like a plain cake donut. read more
