This was our first time going to Bagel Me in Tustin and I will admit it was just ok. We usually go to Bagel Me in Orange and I felt like the bagels are a little bigger and the hole in the middle is smaller to hold the toppings. Service was great and the restaurant was very clean but we were sad about the bagels. I got a sausage egg and cheese but didn't know it was sausage links and not the patty and I wanted a jalapeno cheese bagel but I guess they mixed up the bagels with my BF and I got his onion bagel and get got my jalapeno with his bacon egg and cheese. We also recommend putting cream cheese in the bagel. We started with no cream cheese and I went back in to order some because the bagel had no flavor. Yum! This place was so much more than I had even expected. I was dog sitting in tested for a friend and wanted a bagel so decided to look it up on yelp and found this place. When you walk in it's huge lots of open floor space. Lots of tables with chairs. The counter was pretty huge. I'll admit and the service was really really really fast. I got a cheddar jalapeño bagel with cheddar jalapeño cream cheese and it was nice and melted. It was really good. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area. read more

We just came at 10:00 2-27 Friday and there Was no assortment of bagels. Additionally the last few times we have gotten bagels they are so skinny and have a huge hole in the middle and you can't put anything on them. They are also super hard to cut in half and tough. Overall a very good bagel, nice and toasty bun, cheesy and the bacon is crispy. Crunchy bites and delicious. Definitely would come back again to try out more items from the menu. And the Orange juice is a 10/10 very refreshing and tasty flavor if I'm not mistaken it's homemade. read more

Not sure if it is my childhood nostalgia paired with the delicious bagels, but Bagel Me! is hands down my favorite bagel store in OC! I think their bagels are the perfect chewy texture, but are also soft and fresh baked. They have tons of flavors of bagels, and are equally as yummy. I usually get a bagel toasted with cream cheese and it's perfection. Also, they have delicious smoothies that are amazing as well. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and a nice place to relax and enjoy your bagels. I've always been impressed with the friendly and quick service as well. I came here this morning and was sitting down to eat, but then I saw a customer grabbing the bagels with his bare hands. He didn't do it just once; he had about a dozen bagels. I've never felt so disgusted thinking that a random customer's hands have probably touched my bagel. It makes me nauseous just thinking about it. I am giving this place 2 stars for the customer service only. I used to go to Bagel Me in Anaheim Hills so being town I thought I'd try this place while visiting family. Sorry to say, was not impressed. I got a salt bagel with Lox Cream Cheese. The bagel only had 6 specks of salt and the lox cream cheese was not good. The cream cheese was was watery and did not taste like lox. It was spread very thin, and I could see the bagel under the cream cheese, even though I did have mine toasted for that very reason. The coffee was weak... which ruined the whole experience for me. I was so bummed and sad to say I will not go back to this place.... I hope this business can get some pointers from their counterparts in Anaheim Hills. read more

Ok, look, is this place outdated on the inside? Yes. However, they have a great selection of bagels that aren't gigantic or too small. My favorite is their glazier bagel, which is like a cinnamon sugar bagel. This, toasted with plain cream cheese is absolutely divine. And for $5, it's a perfect breakfast option. I haven't ordered anything else so I can't comment on the other reviews/experiences. I ordered a lox bagel and it tasted very plain- the bagel could've tasted better if there was lemon pepper or at least put it on the side. The bagel chips and baked apple sauce thing was not my favorite at all. The bagel drips was very dry (or is it supposed to be dry?) and I'm not sure how fresh the baked apple sauce was. Also, this bagel me location needs some serious updates- it looks very depressing and needs remodeling. I also I couldn't stop staring at the ceiling ventilator- it looked kind of dirty. But again, I'm guessing this is probably a very old location. But as far as customer service, the service was fast and the employees seem to be nice with their customers. This place has gone down hill as their prices go up. Been going here for 20 plus years and my recent experience/ purchase will be my last. Something has changed with the quality of their bagels. They were once softer, fresher and fuller. Now they are thinner, flatter and tough to cut. Hard to chew as well, like an over cooked steak. Seriously, it's depressing to even visit as it's dimly lit interior, malfunctioning TV's (used to display the menu), single functioning speaker playing scratchy music from some obscure Pandora channel, and the staff who seem disinterested aside from chatting among themselves. I have not been to Bagel Me in over a year. I use to go there regularly. They were always a bit pricey, but their bagels were worth it. I went in earlier this week and they have definitely gone downhill. I bought four bagels and three of them were not fresh. The veggie cream cheese was not as good as it use to be (less flavor full). Since it had been a while, I checked the menu on their website before going in. They charged me more than the prices posted on their own website (which I think is illegal). I've only ever ordered DoorDash from here. Three times from the Orange location and twice from this Tustin location. Normally the food's pretty good with decent portions but today didn't hit the mark. My go-to is the cranberry turkey bagel sandwich and I get those with the cinnamon baked chips with the apple sauce on the side. The first time I ever tried this meal, I had fallen in love. Everything was perfect and you could tell the food was fresh. However today, there didn't seem to be enough of anything. Wasn't nearly enough cranberry sauce, seemed a bit skimpy on the turkey, lettuce, and the cinnamon baked chips. The worst part had to be the apple sauce though. It's usually a nice consistency and really yummy but today it seemed like they just grabbed it out of a fridge and there was one huge lump of apple chunk in there that I couldn't *dip* into with my chips. I really don't know why anyone comes to bagel me!. The bagels are OK, the service is slow, the inside of the store needs updating, and in comparison to other bagel places they're super expensive. I was jonesing for a everything bagel with heavy lox spread and a 16 oz coffee. They didn't have everything bagels but they did have everything cheese bagels so I got that with my heavy lox spread and my coffee. The total was $11 change! I can get the exact same order at East Coast bagels in Irvine For $7. My order was served open faced in a Styrofoam container and they didn't include napkins. Thank God I had the forethought grab some before I left without even checking the bag. The bagel left me wanting and not feeling like my Jones had been fulfilled. Staff is asleep and don't want to be here. They appear not to be trained. The place could use a deep clean and some new paint. It's like the are doing the bare minimum. The bagel did not seem fresh. The biggest problem is that the cream cheese was totally melted and turned into liquid. It literally was running off the bagel. I've never seen this in all my years of eating bagels.
