It was DELISH I got the classic bird wrap with pomegranate vinaigrette on the side. I wasn't expecting the wrap to have so much flavor with no sauce. I loved the crunch of the wrap and the flavor of the chicken. It makes me so happy seeing a fast food chain do my food the right way. Decent wrap with some good sauces if you know what to ask for. Service was standard order at the counter and pick up, so nothing really to write home about. Inside was a clean cookie cutter franchise look. Can't complain. I can see why people like the fries...they're real cut potatoes! Good seasoning, but mine were a bit on the mushy side with no crisp. Price point is on par for location, and it's convenient being at the Spectrum... But I'm not sure I'd drive here just for this. read more

Came back to try their silly wrap and their whole chicken and was blown away by how juicy and tender the chicken was. It was so juicy I didn't even need sauce! The flavor was perfect. But I will say that the garlic sauce really made our meal. It's the PERFECT combination with the chicken! I even added more onto my wrap. The silly wrap comes with its own sauce. It's tangy and a little spicy really delicious. The sides are also really delicious! We tried the fries, pasta, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. All were super fresh! Stopped here after walking around the Irvine Spectrum for some dinner. I got the Dizzy Bird Bowl with everything, portions were good for the price of $15. Opted for Tzatziki sauce but wish they gave us a larger amount. Needed more sauce because it became dry. The chicken wasn't that juicy nor super dry either. A really good healthy choice since it's a balance of different vegetables, protein accompanied by rice! Definitely will need to try the shawarma next time! read more

Absolutely amazing food and service! Eyad was super nice and made sure we liked everything since it was my girlfriend and I's first time! We got the Classic Bird and Silly Bird wrap plus a chicken thigh a la carte. Both the wraps were a 8.5/10, flavor was intense, wrap was super crispy! I will say the chicken is definitely a little drier than the fresh rotisserie chicken. The chicken thigh was an outstanding 9.5/10. It was so juicy, tender and flavorful. One of the best wraps I have had that I keep thinking about. I ordered the Classic Bird Wrap. At first, I had doubts about the taste and portion size, but I was pleasantly surprised. Based on the menu description, I expected it to be mostly chicken. Instead, the wrap was crispy and packed with flavor thanks to the DB sauce. The sauce adds a creamy, robust taste that is balanced nicely by the sourness of the pickled cucumbers. The wrap comes with extra sauce on the side, which is great for dipping. Amazing chicken!!!! We got the classic bird wrap, which was DELICIOUS, amazing sauce. The pita bread wrap was crispy and flavorful 9/10! Would definitely get again. We also got the 1/2 chicken plate. The chicken was juicy but the skin was a bit burnt (see pic below). For sides, we got the mediterranean rice & pesto pasta. Loved the rice, the pesto pasta was just mid. Would rate the plate 8/10. It was my first time trying this place after hearing so much about it and seeing their ads around Irvine. I honestly loved it! We ordered the 2-piece chicken plate with two sides (pesto pasta was delicious!), the garlic lemon potato which was amazing, and a chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. They also have great lemonade with free refills, and the ambiance is casual and family-friendly. Delicious food but the employees are rude. I sat outside at their outdoor seating and they didn't call my name loud enough for me to hear so by the time I went in to get my food the potato's were all cold and I said something to the employee that nobody told me and they looked at me like I was an idiot. Why have outdoor seating if you can't tell people when their food is ready? It's not like there is a place to wait for your name to be called. No notes on the food but they need to seriously work on the customer service before it pulls down the entire business. read more

I think this spot has easily become one of my fave spots at Irvine Spectrum. The chicken here is so juicy and I love the spicy lemon garlic sauce! All the sides here were excellent and not too heavy. The hot wrap was crispy and the sauce had a great kick. The dizzy caesar salad was HUGE and so filling. The service here was incredible and all the employees were so kind. The restaurant is a little small so seating may be difficult, but there were plenty of tables outside. I can't wait to come back! read more

Decided to check this place out as it had good reviews. The place is small but fast service. The cashier was very friendly to offer recommendations as I shared it was my 1st time. I unfortunately went with the chicken breast even though the chicken thighs to seem highly popular. It was dry as chicken breast typically is. Not a noticeable flavor. For sides I got sweet potato, pesto pasta, fries, and side salad. The plate came with a pita bread and garlic sauce. I didn't like the bread it was dry with no flavor and the sauce was kind of fishy. I would skip personally on the pesto pasta. If I go again I will try the thigh chicken and wrap. read more

I ordered the $19.99 half chicken with 2 sides; salad with a lemon vinaigrette and the lemon roasted potatoes. Neither were overly lemony and the potatoes were fork tender. Busy but average noise level. Line moved fast and a lot got their food to go. Smells and looks phenomenal as you're in line or waiting for your food. While eating I noticed the gentleman bagging the food go over and push the trash down with his gloved hands to see how full it was. He kept the gloves on and went back to bagging orders from the kitchen(!) THEN he went back to the trash, emptied it, put in a new bag...and eventually went back behind the counter to wipe trays. Stopped by Dizzy Bird at the Irvine Spectrum after shopping and ended up being really impressed with how fresh everything tasted. Their chicken is spun instead of fried, so it comes out juicy and flavorful but still feels lighter than a lot of other fast-casual spots. I started with the Classic Bird Wrap and a sweet potato. The wrap was warm and satisfying, and their DB sauce added a nice boost of flavor. The sweet potato was soft and nicely cooked without being too sweet. I also tried the half chicken plate with the spicy lemon garlic flavor, which was probably my favorite part of the meal. It came with warm pita, pickles, house sauces, roasted lemon garlic potatoes, and a pesto pasta salad. The plate also includes two sides, and both of the ones I chose had great seasoning and tasted fresh. The portion was filling but didn't leave me feeling heavy. I finished with the Cali Salad. The greens were crisp and the Caesar dressing was creamy but still balanced. From what I tried, their dressings in general are all solid. It's also nice that the menu is halal, which makes it an easy option for more people dining in the area. I am not exaggerating, I could eat at this place every week, and I do The chicken is always grilled, juicy, and actually seasoned, but the spicy lemon garlic sauce is what makes it. If you prefer quicker service with less hassle, consider visiting their Mission Viejo location, which is only ten minutes away. I saw a food review video on TikTok that made this place out to be really good. All I can say is that that review was an understatement. Today was my first time ever at Dizzy Bird. The staff were really nice. When I walked in, I was kindly welcomed by the cashier, Eyad. I took a bit of time to look through the menu, as it was my first time there. Not only was he patient with me, but he also helped me understand the menu better. He pointed out the plates and wraps, and gave me good options based on what I told him I normally like. I ended up going for the Silly Bird. Despite the store seeming pretty busy, my food was actually ready in a very reasonable time, around 10 minutes. When I got my food, I was surprised how big the wrap was considering the price, especially because it's in the Irvine Spectrum which normally has relatively expensive food. The texture of the Silly Bird was really good. It was cooked to the perfect degree where it had a crisp edge, but it wasn't burnt at all. The flavor was shockingly powerful considering how little ingredients were used. I also put sauce on it that really added to the taste. I regretted taking that wrap home because I wanted to drive all the way back to get another one. 10/10. read more

I recently stopped by Dizzy Bird near the Apple Store at the Irvine Spectrum. The restaurant has a bright and pleasant atmosphere, although seating is limited. Thankfully, the Spectrum has plenty of nearby spots to sit and enjoy your meal. The service was a definite highlight. The lady at the register was incredibly friendly and professional, warmly welcoming everyone with a genuine smile. I ordered the half chicken with two sides for $20. While I was excited about the meal, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. The chicken portion was smaller than anticipated (perhaps the chicken was on a diet) and reminded me of a game hen (well, that's probably and over-exaggeration). For the sides, I chose a salad and fries. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with a couple of tomatoes that lacked flavor. The fries were thick-cut but unfortunately were undercooked and a far too salty for my taste. Last night my family and I came in for dinner, and unfortunately most of our food wasn't made with the care I've come to expect. Two of our wraps had bone pieces in them, and one of our chicken pieces was undercooked which is a serious issue and not okay. On top of that, the customer service was really lacking. The fennel sausage and pickled cherry peppers combined to provide a sweet and spicy, rich and savory combination that made me devour it. The staff, especially Maria, were friendly, courteous, and attentive. The dining area is in a warehouse like atmosphere with an outdoor area reminiscent of a microbrewery, perfect for groups or families. This is one of our favorite pizzas so far. Tuna melt - I love tuna melts so I'll always order if I find one on a menu. This one was good. Like actual prepared tuna with kewpie. Definitely elevated from your typical diner fare. Also came with a side of sweet pickles - great to cut through the richness. Pork belly bowl - this is for you rice bowl lovers. Nice cuts of pork belly with a sesame sauce, delicious stewed kimchi, and Japanese style potato salad. Better than your typical bowls that just slap a bunch of things on top of rice. There's nice thought going into this dish and the stewed kimchi really packs that extra punch. Apple burrata salad - nice and light. With everything else we ordered being hearty, the salad offered a nice way to cut through the richness. Creamy burrata on apple slices with tomatoes. Bright flavors with the silkiness of the cheese to bind it all together. Truffle tots - get the tots. Top tier. Fresh, airy, and crispy. Get the truffle oil. Croissants - how many places actually make their croissants in-house nowadays? We got a few to go and devoured them later in the day. Flakey exterior with soft buttery goodness inside. Legit stuff. Delicious baked goods, booze, and good food. Solid spot for some good comfort food.

The rice cakes have the perfect texture and don't taste overly starchy. The Yup Dduk comes with fish cakes, sausages, cabbage, and melted mozzarella on top. I always add cellophane noodles because they soak up the sauce so well. It's a hefty portion that easily feeds 2-4 people. This place doesn't play when it comes to spice; I used to get the original, but mild is the sweet spot if you want to enjoy your meal without chugging water or nose-blowing every five minutes. As for the grilled pork bulgogi, it comes with rice and is decently flavored, but I've definitely had better. I'd stick to ordering the tteokbokki instead!

But another woman (unclear if manager) stood with arms crossed, shaking her head at me like I was an animal, then lectured me without listening when I explained I'd been given permission. Approving something and then shaming the customer for it makes no sense. We packed up everything and left, with no apology. This place needs to fix its service.
