Half Grilled Chicken - very juicy
    Nathan C.

Love coming to Dizzy for the chicken fix. The wraps are a must, but I also love getting their half chicken. Shoutout Keyshawn, Farouk, and Eyad - super friendly and down to earth, great service. Saw them hustling and killing it on a busy Sat night, all smiles and vibes.

Quarter leg combo with corn and fries

Got this to go and ordered it online. The food was ready before the estimated time despite it being quite busy at the restaurant. We ordered the quarter leg combo which comes with 2 sides and we chose the corn and fries. It also comes with some lavash, garlic sauce, and pickles. The food was delicious! Chicken was super tender and the garlic sauce has a nice kick to it that balances everything out. I want to go back and try the wraps!

I've always seen the line for this place and I've wanted to try it but I was like oh the food looks whatever.... so I came today for lunch and there was still a bit of a line but nothing crazy like on the weekends so I ordered the silly bird wrap and I honestly was not expecting too much from this place. I WAS WRONG. Wow was I wrong! First bite I was like OMG FLAVORRRRR the chicken was so flavorful the crunch on the wrap and that soft potato and that sauce!! The price was incredible for Irvine spectrum I will definitely be back!!

--- Definitely not a duck - it's chicken, and the dizzy bird will leave you dizzy in the best way. I normally wouldn't stop at a place like this, but you've gotta try Dizzy Bird here at the Irvine Spectrum. Everything is fresh, from the chicken to the salads and the drinks, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots out here. If you're at the Spectrum and craving something tasty and satisfying, hit this place up.

I've been meaning to try this place for so long and finally got the chance. It's located in Irvine spectrum, close to the playground. We got there right at opening and they always h a steady stream of customers. Service was efficient. Cashier was very patient explaining items to us newbies! Very casual atmosphere with seats inside and outside. Food came out fresh and hot. The chicken was so so so good-very tender and juicy. Fries were crispy and you can tell they just made them! Pesto pasta was also a nice added touch. I can't wait to come back in the future.

Whoa! This spot was popping at the Spectrum!!! With long lines and good eats, why am I even shocked. Our first time trying this and we got the plate, a wrap, and a bowl. Everything tasted fresh with quality ingredients, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the wrap - maaaann, that was my favorite! I'll come back here for the wrap for sure!!! This spot was so busy but it is right by a playground so that makes sense, there's also indoor and outdoor seating so it makes up for it.

This place was a good choice for a hungry morning crave. The food is delicious as the chicken was juicy and flavored with goodness . I would have to try more of the menu later, however the service was really awesome I liked how well the dishes were explained and served with no time wasted. A good tip was given for it and I left the clean place with a satisfied tummy.

Just tried Dizzy Bird for the first time with a coworker for lunch today 3/24/26....sitting back at my desk trying to figure out where to begin. By far, what absolutely made the experience such a joy, was being helped by Tenzin!!! He was so happy to go over the menu and recommend things to us. Dizzy Bird should take notice of him providing amazing customer service! He was so welcoming and kind- it's not always the case and he surpassed my expectations. The food was amazing, not even gonna lie. I need to be back and try their salads. Everything tasted 10/10 !!!! They have a garlic sauce that is AMAZING!! This is a must try if you happen to be in the area or hanging out at the Spectrum. YUM!! I even ordered to go for next day's lunch!! So so good!

i've been a couple times. the first time i went i really liked their classic bird! super good shawarma vibe of a wrap what i got this time: classic bird with pickled onion hippie bird with hot sauce half chicken w lemon garlic herb, sweet potato, and pesto pasta dizzy caesar salad pineapple lemonade the rotisserie chicken was SO flavorful and soft, it exceeded my expectations! the caesar salad was SO GOOD idk why but especially with the pesto pasta in it...it was just so good i would DEF recommend eating it with pita bread trust me. the pesto pasta itself as a side was also pretty good! idk if it was supposed to be cold, but i liked it. there is just a bit of seating inside and some outside the store. but since it's in irvine spectrum there's probably other nearby seating options

This is my second time coming to dizzy bird at the spectrum. Both times I got the hot bird wrap. This time we placed our order online to avoid some possible wait time. Both times I've been to the store, the layout and size make it so that it ends up quite cramped and difficult to navigate, and there's no good place to wait to receive your food. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and are generous with sauce or whatever you need. The food seems to be consistently very fresh, and their flavors are strong and on point. I recommend asking for a side of their goddess ranch and hot sauce, both are made in house I believe and have very good flavor. Definitely worth the trip to spectrum just to grab dinner.

Walking around Irvine Spectrum we came across Dizzy Bird. The service here was very fast and efficient and there were also iPads to order on. The food here is delicious and flavorful. The offer indoor and outdoor seating but when we visited it was packed, overall I would definitely come back again.

Okay... this place understood the assignment. I got the spicy chicken wrap and the potatoes, and wow. The chicken is insanely juicy and flavorful, and the sauce they put on it is SO good. Like, I was already planning my next visit halfway through the wrap. Everything inside was fresh and delicious, no boring bites. let's talk about the potatoes for a second. I love that they offer potatoes instead of just regular fries because you can get fries anywhere. These potatoes were so flavorful and cooked perfectly, honestly such a good choice and I'd order them again in a heartbeat. When I went, their computers were down so ordering was through the kiosks or online only. Even though they were super busy, everyone was moving fast and working hard, which I really appreciated. Also, major bonus points for the ventilation. It's a smaller spot with an open kitchen and chicken roasting, but it never felt smoky, hot, or overwhelming. You get all the amazing food smells without leaving smelling like you worked there. Overall, delicious food, hardworking staff, and such a good vibe. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Highly recommend!

It was my first time trying this place after hearing so much about it and seeing their ads around Irvine. I honestly loved it! We ordered the 2-piece chicken plate with two sides (pesto pasta was delicious!), the garlic lemon potato which was amazing, and a chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. They also have great lemonade with free refills, and the ambiance is casual and family-friendly. Highly recommend if you're craving chicken plates, chicken breast, or a really good sandwich! All the staff are very friendly helpful.

Located in a small but busy plaza, HOK is a small, potentially packed restaurant with a few tables outside. About half full mid afternoon on a Saturday, i got a table and quickly made a decision to try the combination plate with a chicken and kubideh kabob, with rice. Next time I'll branch out, but this first sample provided much pleasure and evidence that they can't do anything wrong (except be closed when I'm craving more ;) A few minutes after placing my order the warm flatbread came out with butter. Comparatively, many other Persian restaurants use Lavash sections, so I enjoyed the contrast. The neighboring table of four received their plates one at a time, so I figured the kitchen and grill were probably also fairly constricted like the lobby. Nonetheless, it didn't take long and the generous, colorful portions were a sight to behold! The first thing I noticed was how moist and tender both kabobs were. Not burnt or dry anywhere on either type. That's attributable to the elevated method of grilling, but here the chef has it down to a science. The second observation came later when I didn't feel excessively thirsty, or bloated, ir dehydrated. Some restaurants really brine the meat while marinating, but here it's another level of perfection. Good service and a reasonable price, although the menu prices might be behind current food costs. Still, it was totally worth it. I didn't have a way to keep leftovers in a safe temperature range, so I ate everything. Full, but not stuffed.

A lot of people I trust have raved about it, and I'm glad I gave it a shot. Our server, Leyla, was great. She took orders for 6 people entirely from memory without a single mistake, all while staying kind, attentive, and composed during a busy service. The food was excellent. The tahdig was crispy, and the stews were rich and homemade, easily some of the best I've had. The koobideh kabob was flavorful and cooked very well, and the chicken barg was equally good. For dessert, the faloodeh had a good balance of rose water, and the Persian ice cream was just as good. I really enjoyed everything about this place and will absolutely be back.

Inconsistent with multiple waiters approaching for the same orders then long blocks of time of no one dropping by within the vicinity when I needed something. Drink selection is below mid-range as well. 3 stars is not bad, but there are far too many better options out there that encompass better food service value. Therefore, I will not be returning. Before you visit, keep these things in mind: 1. This is a ghost kitchen, not a full-service restaurant. It's best for takeout and delivery. There are only a few chairs outside--just four in total. 2. Ordering is entirely self-service via a digital kiosk, with no staff on hand to assist you. 3. There are no bathrooms available anywhere on-site. Regarding the food, it was just okay-- a bit underwhelming, especially given that Lebanese cuisine is typically so flavorful. The chicken was dry, the hummus lacked depth, and the rice was bland. That said, the fattoush salad, one of my favorites, was very good, with a delicious dressing. Overall, I can't say I'd return. The prices were quite high for the portions, and the quality didn't meet my expectations.
