    Avacado smash eggs Benedict
    Andrew F.

Came here for breakfast before meeting some friends. The place was very busy but no problem getting a table. I had ample time to look at the menu and everything looked great. I went for the avacado smash eggs Benedict. It was really good. Perfect amount of avacado and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The only thing I thought it was missing was bacon. It needed something else. But all around a delicious meal. The home fries were cooked perfectly and I appreciated the fact you put the amount of salt and pepper instead of someone else. Will definitely come back here again.

This charming little family owned Cafe is located in the center of small town Windermere downtown! We've been eating here for over 10 years and it's about time to write a supportive review for them! This is your ultimate Saturday or Sunday breakfast/brunch spot with a wide range of staples ranging from pancakes to eggs benedicts! My favorite is their salmon benedict but they also have delicious and healthy options such a egg white and spinach omelets! The service has always been very friendly and prompt! Overall one of the best spots to grab a family meal!

We love Dixie Cream Cafe. It is a quaint place with great food. The service is always spot on. It is such a cute place inside and they have a patio area for outside seating also.

The breakfast is pretty good and served all day. The first time I went I tried the breakfast burrito, and I t was not disappointing. It was my birthday, so they decorated my to go box which was a really nice touch. The service was good, as it was busy, a bit hectic but good. Weekends are very busy, so prepare accordingly. The next time I went for lunch during the week and had the tuna melt. It was pretty good as well. My friend ordered the fried green tomato blt and liked it as well. The tomatoes are tempura fried which I'm not a fan of, but they said it was good. For simple meals with good flavor, I really like this diner. They also have a lot of desserts to choose from as well.

Dixie Cream is an excellent place to have breakfast or lunch. Their customer service is excellent, and have an extensive menu, so it's really hard to choose what to order. During this visit I had their delicious Almond Joy latte and quiche Lorraine with a side of fruit. My husband order a regular coffee and strawberry pancakes with a side of bacon. Their prices are fair and the food is e

Visiting Florida & my friend took me to this spot. Was so nice! Came here on a Thursday morning & it was decently packed! We sat outside since the weather was nice & was served right away. Our server was friendly & checked up on us often. The food came out fast & was delicious! I especially loved the biscuit & gravy. Good size portions. The potatoes were ok, a bit small but had great flavor. I was too full so I didn't get any dessert, but I would next time I'm back. I'm glad my friend took me here!

After years of driving past this place, I finally made it in for breakfast and I'm so glad I did! We came in as a party of four and were seated right away, which was a great start to the morning. I ordered the fried green tomato eggs Benedict, and wow flavor-wise, it hit the spot. The egg was a bit overcooked for my taste, and the breakfast potatoes leaned on the dry side, but honestly, nothing that took away from the overall enjoyment. My husband ordered the same dish, just without the spinach. His plate did come out with it, but shoutout to the staff, they fixed it quickly and without any fuss. Service like that always makes a difference. The real standout for my kids was the vanilla French toast, super delicious and clearly a hit. To drink, I went with a double passion fruit mimosa (because, yes, breakfast deserves bubbles), and it was perfectly made light, refreshing, and not too sweet. The vibe here is relaxed and welcoming. You can sit inside or outside, and if you're dining al fresco, pups are welcome too, major bonus points for pet-friendliness! Before heading out, we grabbed a slice of key lime pie and a chocolate muffin to-go. Both were a sweet little ending to a great breakfast. Already eyeing the salmon Benedict for next time because yes, there will be a next time!

Service has always been great and love the kitschy atmosphere. The decor lets you know it's personalized. I have been going here 3+ years and bringing friends & family. The important thing: food. There's something for everyone. Today, I took my niece and her friend. We loved our food and drinks. They ate too fast so no pictures of their mochas and chill drinks or food. Adding mine. Got the Do WaDitty - made with a house Chive Cream Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Scallions and Diced Tomato. Yum. It came with a biscuit and potatoes. I ended up giving my biscuit to one of the girls. It is so good! Looking forward to my next visit!

What a cute brunch spot!! I was driving from Orlando with some friends and decided to grab brunch here on our way out. We came on a Saturday morning so there was a little wait of about 15 minutes for our group of 5 but we were able to wait outside. Our waitress was super sweet and kept checking in on us frequently which we appreciated. I ordered an iced sugar free vanilla latte and it was absolutely delicious. I decided to split a western omelette and a bananas foster French toast with my boyfriend. The western omelette was fluffy and delicious and I loved the seasoned breakfast potatoes it came with. The star though was the French toast. Such good flavors!! Overall, cute little brunch spot!

Good stuff. Steph who was a floater and all around check on things was great and really made my day. My server Mike was swamped but kept a smiling face and cheerful attitude. Even the young lady behind the front counter was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very pleasant and located in a quaint little alcove, Windermere's version of a strip mall. The rest of us should take note. This is how you do a strip mall. The menu is extensive, staying true to the diner aspect of the place. I had chicken & waffles and some nice breakfast potatoes. I also got a couple items from the bakery - a muffin and a cookie. Very nice.

Good food, good service. The potatoes were a bit salty but everything else was pretty great ! Would come back and try other things ! We sat outside and it started raining but it was still pleasant.

There are so many different tapas to order from, and the best way to try as many as you can is to order the "Get 'Em All" that's offered at their Happy Hour. You can get like 9 different tapas for around $20. My absolute favorite item is the Cajun Chicken Egg Roll. It's stuffed with a good amount of chicken, goat cheese, some veggies, and is served with this not-so-tangy mustard sauce. For all the food that was provided, this is such a good deal. There are a ton of other menu items available, that the "Get 'Em All" doesn't cover, that are also definitely worth trying. The entire place is eclectic and oozing with art and creativity. The walls are covered in paintings and other art pieces made by local artists. Each artwork can be purchased to support them. Sometimes there is a live artist working on their art. There were employees working next door for several days who were extremely loud & frequently calling on their phones, which made it difficult to relax. During my stay, the sink got clogged, and I also experienced multiple bed bug bites across my body, which was extremely concerning & uncomfortable. It didn't personally bother me, but the lobby was completely stripped down, just an FYI. My room was nice though, and I had no issues during my stay. I'm assuming the construction was the reason it cost a very low amount of points to stay here, which I couldn't complain about! If you're going to Universal, the location here is perfect. It's a quick and easy walk right into the park. You can literally see the sign from right outside the hotel! If you're hungry, there's a TGI Fridays next door. We have stayed at Rosen Shingle Creek and Rosen Plaza more than 50 times over the years. In fact,…read morewe even got married here at Rosen Plaza almost 10 years ago. These hotels have always held a very special place in our hearts, which makes what happened during this stay especially disappointing. We specifically came to stay in an accessible room and went out of our way to email and speak with the hotel several times beforehand to make sure we had the correct room with a roll-in shower. Despite all of those conversations, we had to switch rooms twice after arriving. We even completely unpacked once, only to have to pack everything back up and move again. For someone with disabilities, having to repeatedly pack, unpack, and relocate is extremely difficult and exhausting. We called to see if we could extend our stay for another night and were told that our current room was not available because they needed to work on it. We completely understood that. We then simply asked if there was any other accessible room available for tomorrow night. We were told that there was no way to guarantee one. What is incredibly frustrating is that, based on our many previous stays, we have always been told that the hotel could look at the available rooms and do its best to accommodate us in some type of accessible room. This time, however, Althea, who identified herself as the manager, refused to even make that effort or provide any assurance that an accessible room could be found. We are literally here at the hotel, and the property appears to have very low occupancy. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable we simply wanted to know whether we could stay another night in an accessible room. Instead, we were essentially told that nothing could be done. I told her that, after this experience, I will most likely never stay here again. Her response was simply, "Okay, have a good night." That response honestly broke my heart. After staying at these hotels more than 50 times, celebrating so many memories here, and even getting married at Rosen Plaza, it is incredibly sad to feel like we are no longer valued as guests. It feels like the level of care and hospitality that once made Rosen special is simply not there anymore. I literally want to cry. This used to be such a wonderful place for us, and so much has changed. Mr. Rosen would not be happy to see how things have changed and how a longtime guest especially one with accessibility needs is being treated. We aren't asking for special treatment. We are asking to be treated with the same care, compassion, and consideration that we have experienced here for years. After all of the memories we have made with Rosen, I never thought I would leave feeling this disappointed. Dirty tables in lobby. Used q tips and candy in hallway floors, elevators need wiping down. Pricing on food has gone up significantly except for breakfast buffet. Customer service is awful. They need to go back to their hospitality school because what is going on just isn't it. This hotel is getting worse and worse. Also the remodel is awful. Rosen Plaza was a classy place now it looks like holiday inn express. In the bathroom there is literally a picture of Marilyn Monroe with Marge Simpson eyes on it. Mr. Rosen would never approve of that!! See pics Also, if you have allergies and are sensitive to scents I suggest you bring your own bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The soap smells like pure musk and I am so allergic to it. Couldn't even wash my hands. It smells like the cologne of a gambler car salesman in Vegas! I wish I was joking. No lights on ceiling and very dim lights for the room. If you want to do your makeup bring a vanity light/mirror or else you will have no light. It's awful! Too many things going on in our stays to warrant coming back. I was here in July too and had to switch rooms already once as well. No Sorry's either time. Just plain expressions no compassion and a whatever attitude. Don't ruin your vacation here.
