If you're looking for real ice cream, Bruster's Real Ice Cream absolutely lives up to its name. We've been coming here for a while now because it's close to home, consistently delicious, and honestly... it just hits every time. Yes, it can lean a little pricey--but let's be real (pun fully intended), quality ice cream is worth it. Pro tip: keep an eye out for their deals because that's when it becomes an absolute steal. Today's visit was inspired by an Instagram promo (we love a good social media find). They were running a BOGO 50% off small waffle cones--each loaded with two scoops. That's already a win before you even take your first bite. Spring flavors are officially here, and they did not disappoint: * My wife went with Campfire S'mores and Cold Brew Brownie * I grabbed Caramel Macchiato, and after my original choice (Maple Pancake ) was sold out, I doubled down with Cold Brew Brownie as my backup Let me tell you--the waffle cone was perfect. Fresh, crispy, and paired insanely well with the rich coffee flavors. The Cold Brew Brownie and Caramel Macchiato combo? Chef's kiss. Absolute home run. There's honestly not much else to say--it's real, it's delicious, and it's worth every bite. Bonus points for their promotional emails (always keeping things fresh with new flavors) and the fact that they've got a rewards/app system--because you already know I'm signing up for anything that gets me closer to more ice cream. Final verdict: Bruster's, you are the real thing. And yes... we'll definitely be back again and again. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Windermere, Florida

The ice cream is always really good and their staff are also very friendly! I always eat in the car or the park

This particular Bruster's Real Ice Cream is located in a nice shopping strip plaza, but be warned parking was a bit crowded. Maybe it was that it was around lunchtime when I pulled in and there are a lot of restaurants here, but there were not a lot of open parking spots. I did find a parking spot though and that is always a positive thing. The staff here is upbeat and friendly and that only enhances the overall vibe of the establishment. Bruster's Real Ice Cream has some great ice cream and they have been creating this wonderful ice cream for over thirty years. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Bruster's Real Ice Cream and if you are in the Windermere section of Orlando, Florida and craving Ice cream or something sweet, this Bruster's Real Ice Cream is a fantastic option (although again, parking was a bit of a challenge when I was there). Five stars overall and they definitely receive my recommendation. read more

Found a Bruster's here in Central Florida and it's been a party ever since! I've always loved Bruster's ice cream since I discovered them in Georgia. We've been going to Twistee Treat as a replacement. And, although they are decent they aren't Bruster's. Bruster's offers so many flavors and varieties and they are simply delicious. read more

I've been getting the Oreo waffle cone since forever here! I love the creamy taste and it's not overly sweet so it's the perfect treat! Love how the service was very fast and the staff was very friendly. They have some bench seating outside so you can pretty much chill and hang for a bit while you're eating your dessert. I have been going to Brusters since I moved to the Windermere area for about a year now, and must I say, every time I go, I leave with a smile. Overtime, the crew has improved so much and seeing the kiddos help the community fills me with great joy. Props to the welcoming staff members who make me want ice cream every so often (not only because it's delicious! ). Great service and even better ice cream. Thanks Brusters! read more

With a broad selection and always fantastic flavors this place rocks! It's always fun to grab a cone or a cup and sit at the picnic tables. It's nice to go when they're busy because there's a good atmosphere and energy. read more

Really great experiences on multiple occasion at this place. It's a local neighborhood feel to it and nice young kids working it. They have always been so friendly and kind to both my husband and I as well as our lab, Stella. They always offer her pup cups and remember that she is obsessed with them when we come by! The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is Chef's Kiss! It has huge and plentiful chunks of cookie dough every time I have ordered it. The waffle cones are amazing, too. Highly recommend! read more

We came over tonight because Bruster's was supporting our school for a spirit night. I hadn't been to a Bruster's in YEARS! This is exactly what I remember. Great ice cream, fast service, and a fun atmosphere. The employees were all smiles. We were quickly greeted and our order taken. I love the menu up where everyone can easily see it to make their choices. We had a bit of a wait, but when you finally find someplace that knows how to do a proper Banana Split - you know it's worth the wait! If you are over near Windermere HS, stop by! read more

If you are a fan of ice cream then this is a must stop. Brusters is a small batch ice cream shop, which means you are getting their best each and every visit. Our order was taken by Matthew, who was very excited to help. When I asked a question about the flavors, he was quick with a response and even offered a sample to make sure we got the taste we were looking for. Mom had the Buckeye, which is a lite chocolate ice cream spirled with mini peanut butter cups and peanut butter drizzle, while I opted for the Mint Chip, which was full of chunks of dark chocolate. The thing I noticed upon the first spoon full was just how creamy it was. So light and enjoyable. It's been a few years since I have visited a Brusters and now I'm glad one has moved in relatively close. Cant wait to stop back and try more flavors! They also have special offerings for small children and your puppy! read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Ice cream! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Windermere, Florida

They are so good!! They always have a wide variety of flavors. Tonight I went PB and Graham, Southern Bana a Puddin', and Caramel Chocolate Pretzel. There flavors are top inch. PB and Graham with Banana Puddin is one of my favorite combos because I love peanut butter and banana. These flavors mix together real well. The flavor of the month is Caramel Chocolate Pretzel. This one I love because again, good flavors that mix together well. It has a vanilla base, and this worked well with the banana which was the middle flavor. The team at Bruster's is top notch. They remember you and are always willing to chat. I love coming here when I need an ice cream fix! read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Chocolate brownie YUMM!! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Windermere, Florida

Opening Day! Bruster's just opened in the neighborhood so why not check it out!? I've only read great things about this ice cream shop so my friends and I headed out! It's one of the first shops to open in the new shopping plaza (Windermere Plaza) on the corner of 535 across from Summerport. We arrived and were surprised to see all the different options available, although it was hard to see the menu because it was dark out and no lighting towards the menu. From a cone, to a cup, to kid sized desserts, they had it all. All of the ice cream is made in-house, so it's guarantee to be fresh! I had the Cookie Craze flavor. The poster shows that's it's blue ice cream with crushed oreos, cookie dough and crushed dinosaur sugar cookies mixed in. It sounded and looked very sweet but I still went for it. It was not as sweet as it looked, but still very good and very creamy. Bruster's also has a rewards program. You are able to download their app from the app store. You get $3 off for downloading the app, 1 point for $1 spent and a $5 reward for every 50 points. Good rewards program especially if you're a regular. P.S. If you love banana splits: bring your own banana on Thursdays and get 1/2 off the price of your banana split! read more

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream and that is pretty much the same thing especially if it's Bruster's Ice Cream! The variety of flavors offered compare to no where else. Ice cream is made fresh daily in house and flavors are rotated weekly as well as offering special seasonal flavors. Bruster's Real Ice Cream is made the old-fashioned way, with slow kettle processing designed specifically to create the Bruster's flavor, starting with a proprietary homestyle mix delivered fresh from its dairy to each store. It's a process that simply makes Bruster's A Scoop Above The Rest. My favorite so far is called Graham Central Station- Graham Ice Cream with Graham Cracker Swirl and Chocolate Flakes. Besides that, Wedding Cake is the perfect marriage of sweet and a tiny bit tart with a blackberry swirl, a pleasant surprise with every lick! I love the flavor variety here. Combinations of ingredients make for specialty flavors I've never seen before at any other ice cream shop in the area. You can enjoy a scoop (or more) in a cup.... However, Bruster's also includes crunchy handmade waffle cones, customized sundaes, candy-filled blasts and thick milkshakes on their menu. Bruster's also offers customized cakes and pies in your favorite flavor for every occasion. Amongst all the delicious flavors and tempting desserts off the menu, the location is absolutely immaculate. Not only that, but the staff is friendly, helpful and happy! I mean who wouldn't be happy when ice cream is involved. Here's a tip: bring your own banana for a half priced banana split. Do yourself a favor and sign up for Bruster's rewards program... I can guarantee you will be back for more! read more

I finally took the opportunity to give the new Bruster's a try. I ordered two scoops of strawberry ice cream on a plain cone and loved it. Their ice cream is very creamy and tastes fresh. The staff was super friendly and seemed happy to be serving delicious treats. Bruster's runs promotions like Banana Thursday. If you bring a banana with you on Thursday you get half of of a banana split. I have not taken advantage of this offer but it sounds like a pretty good deal. If you show up with your dog they get a free doggie sundae and very young children get a free baby cone. read more

Not great. Surprised that they have nothing like a concrete or DQ blizzard on their menu. I asked what would be they closest to a mint cookies and cream blizzard and they suggested they could do a mint chocolate chip milk shake with oreos on top. It sounded like a fine idea, as some milk shakes can actually be pretty thick. Well, this was anything but that. Not only did I not get the oreo toppings as promised, what I got was essentially just milk. I threw it out and went to the nearby publix to get real ice cream. read more

It's pretty dangerous to have this within walking distance! I love their graham central station flavor it's so creamy and rich! Real chunks of graham cracker crust and chocolate with hint of caramel. It's more expensive than your usual ice cream shop but the quality is worth it in my opinion! read more

This is my favorite ice cream place in Winter Garden...Such amazing ice cream! They have flavors that change daily and they are all so interesting. My favorite is cookie craze because I'm an Oreo and cookie dough fanatic, and it's such a great choice (although it's blue). I also like their plain Oreo flavor and Graham central station. Very creamy and decadent ice cream, I will continue to be a regular and use my rewards points! read more

We didn't like it. The ice cream was a bit overpriced and I was expecting something I guess more "artesanal/ homemade" like some other places in town, but the icecream just didn't taste good. Oh my this place is good! We have been twice now and everything we have had has been delicious. My daughter had strawberry ice cream and loved it. I had one of the mixed concoctions with Oreo and vanilla ice cream, which was sizable and delicious, but on our second visit, I had one scoop of maple pecan and one scoop of birthday cake and let me tell you, I have been thinking about those flavors ever since. So flavorful and creamy. They have so many options and flavors made onsite; it's difficult to choose. The only problem is that I found this place right at the start of swimsuit season! One critique and the reason for 4 stars - they are a little stingy on the scoops. For $6, I would expect double the amount in comparison with other similarly themed places. It's a little expensive for the amount, but we will be back nonetheless. read more
