Really fun & unique concept. We had never experiqanced anything like this and it was def niche. Lots of varied options. Large portions. Large price tag but for what you get it doesn't feel problematic. As someone with textural issues, I'm not sure this will become a go-to for me. I don't love when the innital texture of a food item changes (so ice cream making waffles soggy is not my thing) But the flavors were interesting and delicious. If I was to return, I would likely get a flavored waffle sans ice cream or an ice cream cone with toppings. My husband and I split a bubble waffle Ice cream and it was delicious and massive but I had to tap out after the ice cream and untouched top bit of waffle were consumed and he had to eat the rest. The ice cream is truly top tier but the only issue is the price. I really, really wanted to like this place, but it is just not our preference. My daughter ordered the cookie monster ice cream and she said it tasted like what she imagines playdough taking like. She normally orders 2 scoops and did 1 to try and didn't even finish it since she thought it tasted so bad. I tried the liege waffle with the Ube ice cream. It was good, but I prefer a little stronger Ube flavor and the waffle was good and could tell it was a liege waffle which was a nice plus. We ordered a sprite too and waited and then told it's in the cooler just get it. We were fine with that, but just didn't know and didn't want to just take from the cooler. They are busy and am sure will get better flow/process as they go. We may come try again to see how the bubble waffle is, but we have so many great options in the area that we enjoy the ice cream at so it will just depend if we are in the village when we want ice cream. read more

I came here with my nieces and nephew a few days after opening. They were super excited to come because they were seeing all these promotional ads on Instagram and even my husband and sisters got excited to go because who doesn't love ice cream? I had two issues with this place. The first being that the staff seemed super overworked as the place was packed beyond belief and the shop itself is very small but the staff kept yelling at us to move. Like shouting at us to get out of their way. I feel bad because I'm sure it was very stressful but you can't shout at people like that. We all got yelled at and that's honestly so unacceptable. I could look past that since they were young and super busy but the thing I can't look past was the ice cream, it just wasn't good. It tasted like straight up sugar. No flavor. You can't taste any vanilla or cream, it was just sugar. The texture wasn't velvety and It doesn't help that the monster ice cream wasn't loaded either. We didn't finish the waffle since it was very bland and had no flavor. The man at the cashier was very kind and patient while the kids figured out what the wanted but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know. read more

This was such a cute spot to visit! I love the whole llama concept and the menu is quite tasty looking. I decided to do a custom bubble waffle. I wanted the Dolly's Dream without the brownies and Nutella sauce, so I picked the Cookie Monster Ice Cream and strawberries. One thing I didn't realize until afterwards is that I pretty much paid the same amount I would have paid for the Dolly's Dream. Removing or excluding sauces and brownies does not make it cheaper, which was a bit of a bummer for me because I feel like it should be at least a dollar cheaper if you exclude sauces etc... The presentation of the bubble waffle is quite beautiful and I was able to maintain my fingers free from ice cream (unlike regular ice cream cones). While the ice cream was good, it wasn't creamy. I tend to prefer my ice cream on the creamy side. The bubble waffle however was delicious! They did such a great job with the bubble waffle. The service was also great! I read most reviews where people complained about the service, but what people don't seem to understand is that when a business first opens up and has been getting a lot of media attention prior to opening, the business will be extremely busy full of people. That's why I did the smart thing of waiting and look at that, I had excellent service and I didn't wait in line! I also had a spot to sit. Overall, I enjoyed this place! However, I don't see myself getting the Cookie Monster again just because it left my lips and tongue blue, so I was walking around with blue lips. read more

Such a great addition to the Winter Garden Village! Their name is The Dolly Llama Waffle Master, and they certainly are the masters of waffles -- bubble and their OG liege varieties. I tried both their bubble waffle cone and original OG liege. Both so yummy! I also ordered their XL Dolly Llama Shake made with their ultimate Cookie Monster ice cream, whole milk, Oreo crumbs, and topped with whipped cream, Kinder bars, and chocolate sauce. New to Winter Garden Village is Dolly Llama, a new ice cream and waffle dessert place. For $10, you can get any of their four recipes in Bubble Waffle or OG Liege form, and for $11 for a very large milkshake. You can also build your own from a large selection of ice cream flavors and toppings. I got the Sugar n Spice OG Liege waffle which has Horchata ice cream, caramel, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and Speculoos cookies. If you like cinnamon, this is the dessert for you! The waffle was softer than I expected and the flavors went really well together. I liked that Dolly Llama offered flavors that you can't find everywhere such as the horchata, matcha, ube, and banana pudding ice creams, and toppings like the Speculoos cookies, circus animal cookies and Kinder bars. One of my companions got the Dolly Llama shake which is basically a cookies and cream shake but colored a deep blue. The few times we went here was for the bubble waffle ice cream. The waffle tastes so good, and with the ice cream it's even better. Their ice cream by itself is okay, nothing special tho. The place is basic but nice, looks clean and the workers are nice too. My grandson and I enjoyed a special after school treat at the Dolly Llama. He ordered the popular Dolly Llama Milkshake...it's a Cookie Monster milkshake and I ordered the Coffee Snob. You can definitely make a day out of it and get your ice cream, shop, have lunch or dinner etc. I had the salted caramel ice cream with dark chocolate drizzle and strawberries on a waffle. It definitely did not disappoint. They let you try the flavors beforehand like most shops. The waffle is made fresh and is nice and warm to melt the ice cream perfectly in it. The fruit adds a nice touch and flavor to both the ice cream and waffle. I know there are tons of locations for The Dolly Llama, all with pretty good reviews, but I really felt ripped off. The decently small cup of ice cream that I'm holding in the picture was $14. Omg their ice cream is soooo good!! I seen the grand opening in winter garden and knew I had to give it a try one day and popped in on a shopping day. We really enjoyed our stop here, but I can't get over the $32 price for one adult and two kids ice creams. Pictured is Dolly's Dream which is the "signature Bubble Waffle topped with Ultimate Cookie Monster ice cream, fresh strawberries, brownies and nutella sauce", i subbed out the Cookie Monster (which is actually very very good) for birthday cake just because the CM flavor is already so much that mixed with everything else I thought it might be too much. The portions of everything are not bad at all. Specifically with my item, you could share it with someone depending on your appetite level. The flavor selection is tasty and of good quality. They have traditional flavors and then some others you wouldn't normally see like in a shop such as matcha and ube--which was delish. I gave a 4 because I do think there is room to grow especially with their flavors, the vegan one I wanted was not available but even so, i believe a solid non dairy vanilla would be great to add if possible. I will say for the price of the bubble waffle thing, the toppings feel more so for presentation than the taster's enjoyment. There's a couple on top for the look, but I've paid the same for same toppings elsewhere and I got more. I could barely taste the Nutella-- I think I scraped it in one go. That's just me being picky, but as someone who loves this specific topping combo (Nutella/strawberry) I wanted more of that. Overall, a good spot for a treat! The presentation was beautiful and it tasted delicious. The ice cream surprisingly did not melt fast and the waffles and marshmallows stayed warm for a good amount of time! There's very limited indoor seating, and the shop does not have a patio for outdoor seating. We had to walk to the plaza's gazebo to enjoy our bubble waffles on a bench. Luckily the weather was beautiful that day so we didn't mind! I recommend checking them out. Service was a little slow but it didn't bother me that much since I know they're still new and have been getting an overwhelming amount of visitors since their opening. Finally took the family to check this place out. We have heard so many amazing things and we were not disappointed. When we arrived there was only a few families in there so we where lucky enough to score a table. They have very little seating inside and nowhere outside really to hangout and eat either. I love the colors they pop. I know who cares about the colors but I do and because of it at has a great look to it. The owner took our order he was great at explaining everything to us and offering us samples. After seeing how huge the regular version is we opted to all get the jr. Single scoop was enough for all of us. My boys loved getting to customize their options. 3 of us got bubble waffles and one of us a regular cone of chocolate ice cream. Which they said was fantastic. One of my boys is vegetarian and was so excited about all the vegan flavor options to choose from. He had the birthday cake. The owner asked him if he wanted to try it since it is different then regular ice cream (which was fantastic) he tried it and loved it. My other son did the Cookie Monster. For me it was coffee ice Nutella and almonds. So good. I am really weird with waffles and I can't stand a doughy waffle. So for me I didn't love it. Highly anticipated and did not disappoint! I ordered the sugar and spice and tasted like cinnamon toast cereal . Ice cream had a sticky consistency, and the waffles was warm and fluffy.
