What's not to like! Old fashioned delicious ice cream. We stopped with my kid and in-laws. I didn't have any ice cream but my kid and in-laws did and they really enjoyed what they had. As someone that is married to a person who is lactose intolerant and at time I've had to avoid dairy due to breastfeeding, I did appreciate that they have non-dairy options. My son had told me about this place, and recommended it. He definitely hit homerun. My wife had a hot fudge sundae, which is pictured in the review, I had a little bit of it and it was delicious. I am the other hand had one scoop of peanut butter cookies and cream. It was delicious. All of your ice cream's are Hersheys brand ice cream. The one drawback during this visit was that you could not go inside view this wonderfully preserved fashion ice cream. It looks like you were taken back in history. My favorite local ice cream shop. It puts ever chain restaurant or frozen yogurt fad to shame. The ice cream is definitely homemade. They have signature flavors that are always there and they have rotating flavors that come and go. And of course they bring in the seasonal flavors (like pumpkin and egg nog for Christmas) depending on the time of year. There are at least 20 different flavors, including sugar free and sorbet. My favorite flavor is the graham central station. It's a cinnamon based ice cream with pieces of chocolate and graham cracker crumbs. Absolutely delicious. I also really like their coffee cookies and cream. It's a fun play of cookies and cream with giant Oreo pieces and a coffee ice cream base. But of course, it's all about the ice cream, and that will not disappoint. There are dozens of interesting flavors such as birthday cake, plus classics like butter pecan and pistachio. I chose the Cappucino Crunch, and it was superb. I'd never heard of Hershey's Ice Cream, but they've been around since 1894 (no relation to the candy company). I wish more places served it, as it is fantastic. You can also get soft serve with mix-ins, but I urge you to go for the real thing, and get a scoop at Scoops. read more

Nostalgic location tucked in the ground floor of a bed and breakfast. The prices are somewhat nostalgic as well. Certainly a great bargain for a sweet treat. The decor is warm and you can imagine it is 1960 while noshing away on a warm waffle cone. The ice cream is good. I mean I don't think there is such a thing as bad ice cream but it is not fresh made on premises like other places in Orlando. Then again, who wants to drive 20 minutes for Ice Cream? LOVE this place. They have super friendly staff, lots of great ice cream, milk shakes, malts and floats. They let you have a small sample if you are not sure so you don't have to commit. They have some food items as well if you wanted a snack before your treat. The location is smaller so limited seating, but we enjoy sitting outside when the weather agrees with us. There are a lot of flavours to choose from, including but not limited to the usual flavours of Chocolate and Vanilla but things like Birthday Cake and a chocolate raspberry mix that looked deliciously decadent. My friend and I opted for the soft serve, she got vanilla and I went for the swirl. The seats outside were taken, but there as plenty of seating inside. The price for our 2 soft serve ice creams was $5. Completely reasonable! And it was quite tasty. Only one suggestion? Put something - a marshmallow, perhaps? At the bottom of the waffle cones to stop premature drips. We will be back, that's a given. read more
