I'm a little biased being Colombian... lol but it truly is the best coffee and Colombian pastries around! The baristas are always super nice and willing to give suggestions if you're unsure of what you want. The place is cozy and feels like home

First time ever coming to a Juan Valdez, I was so excited when I finally found one near me because I've heard sooo many wonderful things about the coffee. I came early in the morning to get myself a a friend a coffee. I ordered a large iced white mocha and I ordered my friend a large iced sugar free vanilla latte with oat milk. When I received both drinks it looked like the espresso wasn't stirred all the way but the ice white mocha was delicious! In my opinion the coffee taste was extremely strong, I love strong coffee but I literally couldn't drink the whole drink because it was sooo strong. I also ordered a guava and cheese finger, it was warmed up and OMG, it was mouthwatering, I could literally eat 10 of them in one seating it was so good! I think the next time I really need me a pick me up, I'll come here but other than that the coffee was too strong for my liking.

Great little spot for pastries and EXCELLENT coffee. Here I thought the place was rippling off the JV name, but they back it up with friendly l service, nice decor, good quality beans and fresh pasties. The Bunuelo was new for me, and delicious. I've had many Pan De Bono over the years and this one was equally enjoyable. While I'm not a Colombian bakery professional, I've been to other similar places and their pastries are a bit bigger than JV; though I guess that's the way everything is going - a bit more $ and a bit smaller product. No matter, still a good stop and I'd definitely come back again

Nice quick stop after a day at the park for a little pick me up and pastries. Very warm and welcoming, definitely a place you can read a book or fire up the laptop and get some work done. Got a cappuccino and Pan de bono. Everything was great will stop by again.

Great service , beautiful location , calm and relaxing. Good place to enjoy a perfect latte with Pan De Bono (cheese bread) or have a delicious Arequipe Frapp. There aren't many Colombian places near by and if you are ever in town and want some delicious Colombian snacks stop here. Only thing missing was some good Colombian Vellenatos to transport myself to the beautiful country of Colombia.

I visited with my son Sunday morning after a facial. We were craving some iced lattes. Luckily this store was right in the plaza. The place was nice and clean. There was one barista working from what I could see. We placed our two drink orders and had maybe 2-3 other folks in front of us. I must say, I wouldn't recommend going here if you were in a rush because the service (at least that morning) was extremely slow. Other than that, our drinks were great. I had an arequipe iced latte and my son had the taro latte (both with almond milk).

Yo!! Juan Valdez and his donkey made it to central Florida!! Bienvenidos dude!!! Alright!! It use to be that the only time I could get Juan Valdez is if I went down to Miami or just ordered it online, so it was such a treat to see this little cafe while I was looking for parking at Humbl. It's all the way in Clermont but it'll be worth it. They make great Columbian coffee! I bought one of the take home bags and also a jar of their instant coffee.. Ok... I know what you're going to say. "Instant coffee?" This is probably one of the only brands who can get away with making instant coffee. I'm also thinking that we're getting into cooler weather and some chocolate recipes use that bit of instant coffee to give it a rich flavor - try it sometime. Anyway...My man Juan Valdez; go visit him!

This place is seriously so good! I told my hubby about this location and we just had to go. They have Cafe's all over Central & South America, Africa, Europe, US, and Asia. Here in Florida they have locations in Miami and Windermere. We need this place in Tampa. We bought a bag of Colombian coffee. In addition, a cup of Colombian coffee, pan de Bono, and empanadas. Omg this is seriously so good. I love everything about this place, and seeing that my hubby is Colombian, here was seriously the happiest to buy a bag of coffee here. Can't wait to come back even though we don't live in the area!

I like stopping into this cafe for a quick drink or snack on my way home from work or getting it delivered for a quick breakfast. My favorite is their arepa with cheese and adding an egg. Also their guava cheese finger. I also like their chai lattes. I was super excited when I first started going here thinking they probably make their own dulce de leche and flavorings but then I learned it's all just the normal flavor pumps that most places have. That was a real disappointment. I do like that they have many different options for milk, to be able to cater allergies and dietary needs. They do not have agave, which I was surprised to learn when I took my dad while he was visiting. If you ever get anything to go, they do the most amazing job packing it up that I've ever seen of anywhere. I have to give them credit for that. Definitely a nice little cafe to try, especially if you want something outside of Starbucks.

Really cute and welcoming! Came in early this afternoon for coffee and baked goods and was impressed! We were served almost immediately upon ordering. The pandebolo was light and flavorful. The empanadas needed the sauce the brighten it up. Very good spot to relax and get a good coffee and baked treat.

I'm so pleased to have this coffee shop in Windermere! I'm very impressed by how they're handling everything due to Covid. There are social distancing markers on the floor. Some tables are marked off to keep the seating spaced out. The staff wears masks properly and gloves. Upon entering, the lovely display case of goodies greets you. They have all kinds of baked goods such as empanadas, arepas, and muffins to name a few. They have a wide range of hot and cold drinks. I personally love to treat myself to a nevado which is a blended ice drink. Get the whipped cream!! It's thick and rich and I want it on all my coffee drinks!! The staff is very friendly. I'm looking forward to making this my new regular coffee spot.

$5 and change for a small Taro frappe that was decent

Was so excited for a spot near me with buñuelos, but unfortunately was disappointed with them. For $2.75 you get a small buñuelo, slightly larger than a donut munchkin and unfortunately the taste was inedible. I ordered two and had to throw the second one out. Smelled and tasted like plastic, I think maybe from the mini oven they were reheated in. They def weren't fresh, maybe made from a pre made batter? The Colombian empanada was decent. I ordered a small frappe taro, which was decent. Had good flavor. Overall it seemed like the items at this cafe were very processed and not fresh.

Foxtail Coffee - Bridgewater…read more Coffee is my thing, and Foxtail has been on my radar for a while now. With fall officially here (and the new seasonal drinks calling my name), it was the perfect excuse to finally stop in and get into the autumn spirit. Foxtail Coffee is tucked into a lovely spot in Bridgewater, right near Bridgewater Middle School and Keene's Crossing Elementary. The area itself is charming -- complete with a great park for kids and pups of all sizes. The plaza has everything from ice cream and pizza to nails and even a dentist (though I'd recommend coffee before the dentist chair). The shop itself is small but mighty. Inside seating is limited, but they make up for it with a cozy outdoor patio that fits the neighborhood vibe perfectly. The menu has plenty of coffee classics, seasonal specialties, and even some light breakfast options. Service was excellent -- the assistant manager was super friendly and even made sure I got my reward points. I'm a sucker for a good rewards app, and Foxtail's definitely hits the spot. For drinks, I went with the Maple Pancake Latte (iced) -- sweet, cozy, and fall in a cup. My wife ordered the Vanilla Cream Cold Brew with Cold Foam, which was smooth, creamy, and equally delicious. Afterward, we took our drinks for a walk around the neighborhood and ended up at the park -- the perfect Saturday morning ritual. All in all, Foxtail delivered a five-star fall coffee experience. Between the welcoming service, tasty drinks, and the inviting location, we'll definitely be back to "brew up" another round soon.

Found this place on Yelp and it had a 5 star rating & it was very close by where we were staying. We used an uber to get there and it was very hard to find as it's in a new developmental apartment complex area. The uber driver drove right passed it 2x and I honestly thought it was in someone's home lol. We finally found it after the turn around. "Henko" "is a Japanese word which means "change" and I speak and understand the language. The food and the coffee were delicious! We all had the bacon, egg croissant with the side of breakfast potatoes. I recommend asking for their "house" green spicy sauce on the side! It's so good, I wish they made a bottle of it. I would have bought a bottle to take home. It wasn't too spicy but had the right twist on the eggs ! So delicious! We got the iced mocha and iced vanilla latte and kiddos got hot and frosted hot chocolate. I give this place 5/5 review. Lastly, the workers were super friendly:) if I can make a friendly suggestion, it would be to implement more Japanese signs, products, or maybe coffee names in Japanese sayings in the coffee shop since the owner loves what "Henko" means :) maybe even sushi to go:) I def recommend this place! A nice place to chill while reading or studying too.

I would say I've never been surprised to see a shop live up to its name…read more Prairie House Coffee has been on my list since spotting it on a friend's social. I didn't think the cabin-esqe coffee shop would be here in Florida. But surprisingly it's a lot closer than I thought. Prairie House is in Oakland but listen whether you are a Four Corners pal or Orlando area pal, this is not that far. It's about 30 minutes and just past the Costco in Clermont. Unlike my normal trek to Orlando for coffee shops, this spot is much closer (30 minutes vs the usually 45-50 minutes) and less traffic and tolls. I tried this spot with a friend who has the absolute opposite taste in coffee and tea than I did. I grabbed a matcha that was holiday themed with white chocolate and mint. And a gluten free banana loaf. My friend grabbed an iced latte and a muffin. First as a newly gluten sensitive girl, this place makes good food from scratch that fits to a variety of dietary restrictions. The muffin was delicious. And not super moist but not bone dry either. Just like my loaf. I'm not sure how they made it but it was a great treat. Especially knowing that many spots don't have gluten free options especially not cafes. Like I mentioned in the beginning, prairie house lives up to its name. I actually was shocked when I walked into the giant shop plus gift shop in the back. It was too cold to sit outside and plus, I was working with my laptop that day with a friend. I felt like I was transported back to Minnesota or somewhere in the midwest. There are several coffee shops there that have similar cozy and wooden designs. It matches thy winter aesthetics of the chilly Midwest rather than here in the Summery vibes of Florida. Its cozy layout is also its one downside. As big as the sitting area is (it's not that big), it's so cramped in there and easily fills up. During my time at the shop as I waited for my friend, I saw two large groups of families come in and essentially take up the one shop. They didn't come at the same time. It was just unfortunate that it was back to back. I luckily had secured a spot for my friend and I on a large communal table by an outlet otherwise, we would have really been in trouble if we needed any a power source. Overall, it's a cute shop that belongs up in the Midwest rather than Florida but it's definitely worth the drive.
