Buying a regular coffee at this shop would be injustice. The atmosphere is rustic and employees that work there are considered baristas. Overall I had a pleasant experience. I ordered a Cafe mocha and my girlfriend ordered a matcha latte. The mocha was great however the latte was not great. To their defense the matcha latte was not an official menu item. Positives: 1) Great atmosphere, cute and clean space. 2) Selection was good for a coffee house. Improvement opportunities: 1) Weekly specials would be nice. With my wonderful experience at a different Foxtail location, I took my wife for a coffee on Valentine's Day. As she started studying the menu, unfortunately I could sense frustration mounting as she wasn't sure what to order. Thankfully, Foxtail employs a fantastic young lady (We'll call her Lilly - largely because that's what her nametag said) noticed this as well, and jumped in to help my wife decode her options. Lilly was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Not only did she explain the differences between many of the types of coffee, but she even explained how their version of each may differ from other coffee shoppes we may have frequented in the past, and she offered my wife a sample of one of the choices she was considering (which turned out to be not what my wife was looking for). The décor of Foxtail is warm, inviting and comfortable, and the coffee was delicious, but the shining star of this particular visit was Lilly. I would return to this particular location simply to do business with her again. By the way, the caramel cold foam is FIRE! Very clean new location for Foxtail. The tables were spaced out and the staff was attentive and friendly. The price point is in line with other coffee shops so that did not both me. I opted for a chai tea on this visit while I sat and did some work. The chai was strong (which I prefer) and was prepared to the correct temperature. I did not opt for any food on this visit, but they do offer breakfast sandwiches, cake pops, pastries. There are are wine options as well if you are not the coffee/tea drinker. read more

Foxtail Coffee recently opened in Clermont. The staff is very friendly and they are practicing Covid restrictions. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. In addition to coffee they also serve breakfast sandwiches, croissants, cake pops, muffins and much more. On my most recent visit I ordered a seasonal pumpkin cold brew coffee. Totally impressed. I've always wanted to try Foxtail and because we live in Clermont never made it to one. Surprise! A Foxtail now in Clermont?!! The two people behind the counter were so helpful. I ordered the Mexico single origin medium roast and it was so good. They let me try the Farm blend and it was also very good. We also ordered the cold brew which was very smooth, made with the Farm blend. Next time we visit we're going to try the specialties. Very clean inside and they do have some food. read more

This review based on one experience. Just a cautionary tale, if you try to avoid artificial (chemical) sweeteners, stay away from the chai. After ordering a large dirty chai with oat milk (about a $7 drink), I was 10 minutes up the road before I tried my first sip. Tasted terrible. I could immediately tell there was some sort of artificial sweetener in it. I called the store to ask what was in the concentrate and she let me know sucralose was the sweetener used. Was maybe thinking they would offer to remake a drink for me, but nope. Just a sorry and goodbye. So there I go dumping my $7 drink out on the side of the road. Have had other good experiences at Foxtail, but just wanted this out there for those who like to avoid artificial sweeteners. read more

I guess a new shop has it's hiccups and My first visit was one of them. I ordered four shots of espresso and waited 35 minutes only to find they forgot or lost my order. Several folks had their coffees and drank them and left before they asked me why I was waiting. They comped my next coffee but I think it will be a while before I go back. My husband and I go to foxtail in Clermont every Saturday morning at opening. We are always greeted by a smiling worker , even though it's bright & early. Our first visit to Foxtail was in October 2020. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Andrew & Christina made it a priory to know our names and to know our stories. To be honest-- even though we go as a coffee date, we look forward to having conversations with the baristas. Let me get to the coffee part of this review. Spectacular coffee. They are very particular with their brewing methods and the taste proves it. They make sure that the espresso machines are dialed in each shift so the drinks are accurate. Beans: we love their beans. We've had bought every type of bean they have. The Ethiopian has a lot of sweet notes and super light in a pour over (husbands favorite). Their Columbia is a very nice dark roast with hints of citrus. And their farmhouse is a well balanced blend. There's so much more I could say, but this is already too long. Haha read more
