This coffee shop was a hoppin place! Very busy at about 11 AM on a Monday. It's a very cute shop to work, hang out, etc. I love the location as well. They do share a bathroom with neighboring businesses, so I heard the barista tell someone to take the elevator to the second floor, just outside of their side door. I ordered from their summer menu. I had the S'more summer Latte and it was okay... it's hard to find a coffee shop that mixes their chocolate well with the espresso, so it gives an off taste that is not enjoyable. I didn't taste any of the graham cracker syrup, and the barista barely toasted the marshmallow foam on top... I'd seen other photos where the entire top is a nice, golden brown. Would I go back? Maybe. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing and I should go with a normal latte next time. read more

I want to hear on a Wednesday afternoon around three. They had a full staff behind the counter who were very engaged in their own conversations, but stopped and were attentive when I made my order. I ordered the special, banana pudding, cold brew, that was advertised and it took 20 minutes to get it mind you there was no one in front of me when I ordered there were plenty of people sitting around on their laptops or engaging in conversation somehow had drank some didn't and the place was pretty active overall. It does seem like a good spot to meet up with someone or just to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city and the coffee is good. read more

There were 2 options for coffee, and I love local places like Axum. They have seasonal menu which I also love, so my friend ordered the banana pudding cold brew and tropical noir. Prices were fair! The cold brew didn't have an artificial banana taste which is rare in my opinion. The sizes were good too! I love the people working there because they were super sweet. And you know that it's a popular place because it was packed! There's also outdoor seating, AND pets are welcome too (at least from what I've seen). The space is wonderful--perfect for meeting up with friends and/or doing some work. The service is okay; the staff member I interacted with didn't seem particularly friendly and I indicated I thought I had a loyalty number, but when she didn't find it, she just totalled the transaction and didn't offer to sign me up, which I thought was odd. The coffee is good, but not amazing. I had a mocha, and it was a bit overly sweet. The person who handed it to me had accidentally put whipped cream on it, and she said, "maybe it can be a cheat day!" which felt like a weird thing to say. I also enjoyed a cake pop, which was super tasty. My friend had a yogurt with fruit, which she liked. I will likely come back here when in the area, since there aren't a lot of coffee options but I would never go out of my way to seek them out. read more

My go to coffee spot whenever I go to downtown Winter Garden. Service is always top notch. If you want to stay I recommend getting there early as tables and spots fill up fast with people working. The location also has additional outside seating as well. This visit I tried the seasonal option Thank the Phoenicians. I love anything Ube related and I really enjoyed the combination of Ube and coffee flavors. Again, for as busy as it gets the service is always fantastic. It also tends to have later hours than most area coffee shops which helps if you are a night coffee drinker like me sometimes. read more

Axum Coffee is a perfect spot for a latte and snack! They roast their own coffee and have all the classic coffee options, along with some specialty coffees. I tried the Cinnabee which had cinnamon, honey, espresso and milk. I also ordered some sourdough which came with butter and jelly. It was a nice little snack! There is free wifi, but the restrooms are outside and up an elevator so you definitely wouldn't want to park your laptop and leave it unattended. Don't get me wrong, the decor and area itself was super cute but for the amount of time I spent in line waiting for my coffee, I expected it to be a little better. That's not to say it wasn't decent, but it wasn't the best coffee I've ever had. I got myself a hot vanilla latte because it was chilly outside when I stopped in. If you can't make it to the farmers markets the store front is a great place to grab and drink and hang out for a while. It's super cute and it's pretty comfy. We had a Winter Garden afternoon so as a coffee lover I had to check out a local coffee shop, cue Axum. I loved how the shop had a high ceiling and large windows with plenty of natural lighting. Our cashier unfortunately was not friendly to me, which is a bummer because it was our first time here and customer service and friendliness is absolutely part of the experience. I was undecided about what drink I'd get so I opted for a seasonal latte, I had the Limoncello latte with cold foam. Two others were with me and so we also ordered a snickers latte, and a hazelnutella without espresso as this was for a child. Although I took out the espresso of the hazelnutella I was still charged regular price for it which I found to be unfair. This should be looked into and arranged in a way where pricing can be customizable to avoid customers being over-charged. The prices to the other drinks were overall fair and the barista was very efficient, she made our drinks perfectly (all 3 of us were pleased!) and was polite. read more

I have had Axum Coffee in Winter Garden at their brick & mortar location. They also have a stand at Plant Street Market. I do enjoy their coffee and they have quite a bit of flavors. They have a handful of tea options, and some snacks and sandwiches too like cookies etc. they open late at 9 pm and have inside and outside seating. Their service is pretty good too. I would definitely come back, and recommend this coffee shop to others. There is also a Foxtail Coffee down the street, but I like this coffee shop since it is specifically in Winter Garden! I visited Axum coffee on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. I love this spot on plant street. It's the perfect place to pull up and read a book or do a little bit of work while enjoying one of their great coffees. I am a decaf only coffee drinker, and they have decaf espresso here. My favorite drink is their heavenly toffee latte. The service here is always friendly and I love that they give you a nice little mug or glass if you're having your coffee to stay. A great lil coffee shop in Winter Garden. Came here when visiting the area to remote work with my best friend. There was ample parking around and in the garage. I came early morning and it was a good, quiet busy. There was a good amount of seating around and we were able to get settled and work efficiently here. When I went here, it was when I could still handle caffeine so I got an iced latte. It was pretty good and gave me enough energy to power through some work after a long drive from South Fl. We stopped by Axum for some hot coffee on a cold evening and had a lovely experience! I love that they are open till 9pm when most coffee shops and cafes are closed! Sweat Study Spot - came here on a Friday evening around 6:30 and ran into what appeared to be full of working and/or studying folks. We were looking to grab a tea while we were waiting for our table at a nearby spot to be ready. Unfortunately, they were out of their peppermint tea and oddly the Christmas tree up was still up in January. We ended up ordering a "BOURBON ST. They have a good menu of options, but hot and iced coffee, and treats. They also have a kid's hot chocolate if you want something for a little one. Seating is comfy and varied throughout the store. High-top bar area, high-top tables, lowers seating, and outdoor seating as well. Staff is always super friendly and quick to help. Was walking around downtown winter garden looking for some coffee and glad I stopped in. The interior had a nice cozy feel to it and the staff was friendly and helped me choose from the menu. I was impressed by their unique drinks and ordered a blueberry espresso tonic to go. It was light and not overly sweet. Something nice and cold to have on a hot day. Like all down towns you have to park a little bit away but at least parking is free and the walk was nice to look at shops along the way. I came over to this part of town to check out the food hall, and while I was doing all my perusing and purchasing and eating, I needed a coffee, of course. Axum Coffee is right up front and center as you enter the building, easy. Sold. I don't remember what I got exactly. I commandeered the counter employee to help me build a drink. I knew I wanted something cold, hazelnutty, sweet but not too sweet, with an extra shot, and they helped me build the perfect drink. I sipped on that thing for about 10 minutes, because I'm a glutton, but I did enjoy every sip. Oh My God! My new favorite coffee spot and it's located right in downtown Winter Garden. When you walk in it's super cozy with a lot of tables to sit and do work if necessary and they also have outdoor seating! I got a 16oz iced Coconut Cream Pie latte and it was amazing! It had espresso, white mocha, coconut syrup and milk and topped off with whipped cream. While you wait for your coffee they have ice water out so you can grab a water if you need too.
