Everything is delicious! My favorite item is their tiramisu cake to die for! My go to place to order cakes

Fruit basket was disappointing Ahold b called blueberry (singular) with citrus flavor cake Had about a dozen blueberries in three layers and a TON of whipped cream w a little bit of custard (allegedly Bavarian cream) Decorations were haphazardly executed and looked embarrassing The cake looked as bad as it tasted Of eight guests only one person said it tasted Ok but would never have the "fruit basket " again Should be renamed blueberry (singular)and cream citrus cake We also ordered eight napoleons that looked pretty but were EXTREMELY sweet and not buttery or flaky Probably day old We had these previously and they were flakey buttery and good Ettore's or Freeport bakeries in Sacramento blow this place away in freshness, taste decorative embellishments and overall quality Note to owners try the chantilly cake at Whole Foods or the fruit basket at Ettore's Both use a variety fruit mainly berries and nothing is funky, tasteless or creamed to death and boring read more

Had a great experience with Divine Desserts. I ordered my daughter's birthday cake from here and they were very accommodating to our custom order both with flavor selection and design. I emailed some photos of horses and they did a beautiful hand drawn interpretation. We ordered red velvet with layers of ganache and buttercream with a dense whipped cream frosting. It was very moist, delicious and much thicker than we anticipated. The price was reasonable for the level of quality and great customer service. read more

This place deserves 100 stars if possible! They did such an amazing job on our wedding cake. Esther was super nice, attentive and overall amazing! We met them at the Cal Wedding Expo and their tasting was beyond the best and that was just a sample at the Expo. Then we made an appointment and they showed us all the different cakes they made for other wedding then the tasting....there was so many different combinations but thankfully my husband and I were able to make the decision on a three tier cake: lemon/raspberry, strawberry champagne and chocolate raspberry. After the decision we even got some pastries and they were sooooooo yummy! We paid our deposit and pretty much left everything in the hands of Esther and she did not disappoint! She called two weeks before the wedding to make sure nothing had changed and we were good to go. The day of the wedding we never saw them deliver it but it was all ready to go when the guest came in from the ceremony and the cake was sooooooo beautiful and beyond delicious! Our guests at the wedding loved it soooo much that even though we got extra cake (with advice from Ester of having another sheet) we didnt have that much cake leftover because everyone was asking for seconds! It was so delicious! They did an incredible job!Thank you for an amazing cake!!! read more

Everything here is amazing. Treat yourself - whether a special occasion, birthday, anniversary, or just because you're in Loomis. SUCH a cute shop. I had issues calling in but they're open - just need to be patient. With COVID health precautions - pad some time ahead for pick up. It's worth it. One of the best bakery good gems in the area and they're items are works of art for the eyes and stomach. read more

Absolutely delicious and fresh! I called couple bakers that usually we go to for birthday cake design they were not available. I always had these cake from divine but never ordered for my daughter's birthday. So I ordered 2 cakes, one chocolate and the other one fruit basket with chocolate on top and then I decorated with dolls myself! It turned out great and their taste was to the perfection. My guests not only ate the cake also took some pieces to go too. From there till now I always go with them! read more

My fiancée, future mother-in-law and I are currently sitting outside tasting a verity of desserts offered; and we are BLOWN AWAY by the attention to detail and magnificent quality of the pastries. I've never had desserts that are so bright in flavor while not overpowering the natural flavor with sugar. Whatever you order you can expect top tier quality. You could have asked me what their flagship product was and I would not be able to tell you. I don't even like desserts and I probably just consumed 3000 calories. 6 stars from me. read more

I ordered my wedding cake from this bakery and it was the best decision I could have made. When I did the tasting I was shocked by how many of the flavors I LOVED. The cakes they produce at this bakery are some of the best I have ever had. I choose carrot cake as one of the flavors for my wedding cake (which I would have never anticipated) because it was the best carrot cake I had ever had! I also had a tier that was a white/champagne cake with strawberry filling, and a triple chocolate tier! It was as beautiful on the outside as it was delicious on the inside. I gave them a couple of photo ideas for inspiration and the result was better than I could have imagined. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience Divine Desserts! I will be getting cakes from you whenever I am in the area! read more

The Latin Mocha Cake I just ate for breakfast is sure to be the highlight of my work day. It's like fluffy tiramisu... all the right flavors, and none of the soggy tendencies. Delicate, delicious... perfection. I have never given a 5-star review to a place I've never physically been. A co-worker brought the aformentioned cake into our office this morning, that had been left over from a bridal shower that happened on Saturday. That means the cake has been sitting in her refrigerator for two days since the event. And it was still the best cake I've had all year. I am a Freeport Bakery loyalist (and will probably continue to be, since this bakery is in Loomis and I can't see myself regularly driving 40 minutes to a bakery), but this cake made me question my exclusive relationship with Freeport. And if you live close to Loomis, you need to stop what you're doing and go get a cake. You'll feel better. read more

The desserts here are wonderful. A bit on the pricey side, but a terrific choice for a decadent treat. My only complaint is that they add a "surcharge" for the use of a credit card. This seems to be a growing trend for many retail shops and restaurants--one I do not embrace. read more

Beautiful and delicious! We have had them make at least a dozen cakes for us and they have been awesome!

Food was great. That person working behind the cash register was very rude and unprofessional. She was mad that I took all of one item when she could've had it there all day versus it doesn't matter if you should sell it in the morning or at night she was still very rude that I needed to order it ahead of time but I did not have time because I did not.know I was going down there. I live up the hill and she was very rude. Food is always great. She kept on telling me that I needed to order it ahead of time even in front of customers so it's like the fifth time she told me just very unprofessional. read more

I am not an Avid critic but I know how good cake should taste. I love chocolate. I sampled a few of their cakes at a bridal show and was blown away. I had to grab a card. I always used to order Ettore's Chocolate Mousse.... but Divine Dessert's Triple Chocolate Cake is "Hands Down the best cake Ever!!!" Its a cute little yellow house in Loomis (which is a bit of a drive) but definitely worth it!!! Your guests definitely will want to know where you bought the cake. PS They also have 2 cases filled with other goodies... You won't be dissapointed read more

This is a great little bakery in an area where you wouldn't expect to find a great bakery. Unfortunately, I went in with false expectations due to a previous Yelp reviewer. So let me set the record straight, the eclairs are not filled with custard- the ones we got were definitely filled with cream. I did not get a chance to see them before I bought them- they were put in the box back in the baking area. I had just assumed the previous reviewer was accurate in their description. So you will probably really like this place if you don't go in with false expectations like I did. read more

Amazing! Definitely go try amazing desserts! Great service also in the cute town if Loomis.

I purchased my wedding cake here. The cake was beautiful and tasted great. The staff was so helpful and my husband and I really enjoyed out cake tasting event. Many of the guests at our wedding wanted their card. I have also purchased desserts for parties and always happy with taste and presentation. They were flexible and wanted to accommodate my wishes and I appreciate that. The dessert are reasonable especially considering they are hand made specialties. read more

The custom cake I ordered from elsewhere was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. I scrambled and ordered a cake a few days prior to my husband's birthday from Divine Desserts. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone and ordering from here in the future. read more

Absolutely delicious cakes, beautifully decorated. My family said the Tiramisu cake was one of the best we have ever had.

Divine Desserts made the cake for our June 8th wedding. The cake looked beautiful and tasted delicious! It was enjoyed by everyone at the wedding. This is the best bakery/cafe I have been to in the greater Sacramento area. It is a little far for me; I live in Sac and they are in Loomis, but whenever I get a chance, I love coming here. I like their white chocolate strawberry scones and muffins quite a bit. Whenever there is a special occasion that calls for a cake, I always order from here. Last time I got the Black Forest cake. It didn't quite top their Triple Chocolate cake, but it was a close second. This year, for the first time I ordered a pie from here for Thanksgiving. I purchased the Dutch Apple and the Pumpkin. They were both top of the line. I realize I'm a bit short on detail regarding taste or ingredients, but I'm not much of a baker so I cant't really describe those things very well. I just know what I do and do not like. I like this place. In my opinion, Divine Desserts blows away the competition, places like Rick's Diner or Freeport Bakery. One thing though. Try to get here relatively early(before 10 am) because they bake in small batches. If you show up later in the day, it's very likely they'll be sold out of that one thing you wanted. read more

After being recommended by several of my friends I went to Divine Desserts. I was in need of a birthday cake for my mom. But, not just any cake I wanted a zebra fondant cake but I needed it in 4 days. Being wedding season every other bakery I had called before finding Divine Desserts laughed at me. Luckily, the owner was nice enough to fit me in. The cake turned out even better than expected and was the best tasting cake I've ever had (White Raspberry Truffle). The fondant was even good which came as a huge surprise as everyone knows fondant isn't tasty. Also, I found their prices very reasonable. My family and I will be coming back anytime we have an excuse to get a cake. read more

Love the triple chocolate cake! It has become a family tradition to order this cake for birthdays and Mother's Day,

We had a small wedding with 25 guests and Divine Desserts created our wedding cake. They took our order only 2 weeks before our wedding and were helpful and great to work with. Each tier was 2 layers of their chocolate cake and 2 layers of their strawberry champagne cake. It was delicious and beautifully done. The guests loved the cake. Thank you for adding a special touch to our wedding day. read more

Their cakes are amazingly delicious, and they did a wonderful job with our wedding cake back in 2011! I am still drooling over the chocolate orange truffle and the strawberry champagne flavors! And their carrot cake is mouth watering! I did notice that the people that decorated the cake were more comfortable decorating with icing and piping techniques instead of using fondant. And that is perfectly fine, I just had to find a cake style that fit both of our needs... Their cakes are so good that it is totally worth it to pick a new design. The cake could have used a little more support on the top layer, but other than that it was absolutely PERFECT. Thank you so much for helping make my day so special! At my mom's recommendation I swung by here to grab a dessert for my weekly girls' night. The goodies looked amazing! I was looking for a large dessert, like a cake or tart or something but they had nothing in the cases like that. I asked the girl behind the counter & she said that they did have 8 inch cakes available & named a few types but they were $25 & I was pinching pennies so I looked around to see what else might work. I decided to get little individual "apple crisps" (they were more like mini dutch apple pies) that were only $2.25 each! What a deal! We heated them in the oven for a bit before eating them. They were really yummy & I loved that they had walnuts in them (not stated in description, so ask if you have nut allergies). The girls loved them & I was the dessert hero! I grabbed myself a cream cheese apricot danish while I was there & that was really good also. It was sticky all the way around so I ate it on a plate with a fork & it was so yummy, I loved the apricots! Pastry was nice & flaky too. If you're in Loomis & looking for a sweet snack or dessert swing by here & check it out! read more
