The food and service is top notch. The meals and cocktails are extremely creative and delicious!

First off the food was very good. In the past the service has always been excellent. When we first sat down i had a dirty water glass. Dante M told me I was wrong and with frustration went to grab me another glass. He returned with a dirtier glass. After that my wife asked for a glass of Rose. Dante said they ran out. Then the table next to us ordered a glass of Rose and happily received their drinks. Switching between appetizer to salad to dinner we did not receive new silverware and had to ask to have the dirty plates removed. The flounder, the broccoli, and the Chicken were fantastic. Then when we were ready for the check Dante was no where to be found. read more

My birthday dinner choice. First time. Beyond impressed! Street corn app & cobia smoked fish dip. I've made my own street corn but have to admit...there's was amazing. Sweet, smoky, creamy, delish. Loved the crispy, flaky crackers w side of red jalapeños & pickles. Hubs had grilled snapper w all kinds of fresh diced veggies - it looked amazing but honestly I was so engulfed in my own meal - I didn't pay much attention and really wished we took pics. Sorry. I had med rare - rate steak sliced on a bed of creamed spinach and topped w fresh cut truffle fires. OH LAWD!!! Amazing! Most tender steak, juicy and loaded w flavor. Dessert. Where to start :) We arrived at 7pm without a dining reservation and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was candlelight romantic. When they ask me if I want sparkling for flat water, I know I'm in for a fancy good ole' time! Haha The waitress was absolutely amazing and informative of the menu options- both dining and drinks. We explored various wines by the glass but weren't as inquisitive with our taste buds. Each of the 4 of us wanted the same thing: The District Cheeseburger. All of us were impressed by the quality of the burger. Served with french fries and a chocolate malt shake, this order is enough to feed 2! The fries were extremely crispy, NOT burnt, so if you like that texture then you won't be disappointed. And the malt. OH MY LANTA the malt shake pulled all the flavors together. YUM! read more

A wonderful treat to dine again at District Table and Bar. It was our daughter's birthday celebration and she was overjoyed to see "first of the season ramps" on the menu. Very impressed with the plating and the food combinations! We didn't have reservations but we came early and got seated right away. Our waiter was amazing, and all of the staff seemed to work together well. Our waiter took the time to explain the menu, and answered all of our questions without seeming rushed... The food was spot on! We had the shrimp and wahoo ceviche which was creatively unique and extremely flavorful! We also got the snapper, and the blackened shrimp and grits - let me tell you - the shrimp and grits were not just ordinary shrimp and grits! This thing was off the hook delicious! It was all delicious... I would highly recommend this place! Pricey, yes, but you definitely get what you pay for. read more

This is actually my second time at this restaurant and can't say enough about the great atmosphere and menu. The first time I visited, I was alone and sat at the bar for service. I guess what made that so memorable was watching them prepare all the food. Tonight I went again with coworkers and again it didn't disappoint. Food and service were both great. Husband wanted to try this place out for his birthday. Making reservations was a breeze. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Our reservation time was honored and we were seated almost immediately. The decor in the restaurant was a mix of rustic chic and industrial. Exposed pipes and beaming with wine glass bottle light shades. Pretty interesting to look at. The food: Street Corn- ORDER THIS, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!! My husband and I were having a field day with this dish. The flavors are wonderful and the cotija cheese is on point. Little bit of lime and you've got yourself a one way ticket to tasty town. Also ordered- the ceviche. It was light and fresh which is how I like my ceviche. Had a small bit of spice that my husband couldn't handle. But he was helpful in making sure no piece of wahoo was left behind. Entrees- Husband ordered the mussels frites. The broth at the bottom of the dish is where all the love is kept. A good heap of French fries and some perfectly cooked mussels. What's there not to love? My entree- the Blackened shrimp and grits. This was a much heavier dish than expected. Very tasty, very cheesy, salty, and overall just what I expected. A great combination of flavors with the scallions and slab bacon. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the poached egg brought it all together. 10/10 will come back to eat here again- hopefully sooner than later! read more

Decided to try out their new location. They have made significant improvements on all aspects. The new location is much larger and they also accept reservations. They have both indoor and outdoor seating now as well as heating elements outside if it gets too cold. They have a nice fire pit with chairs to sit around while waiting or even to enjoy some drinks. The service was great and the new hostesses were very prompt and friendly. As always, the food was impeccable and I am glad they fixed the other aspects of the business which was holding it back. We are regulars at this restaurant and most times we enjoy the food and service. We take family and friends on special occasions. Tonight, the quality of service plummeted. We ordered appetizers, waited extremely long- and one appetizer was forgotten. After appetizers, we waited another hour + for our entrees. There were tables seated around us that sat, ate and paid between the time we received our appetizers and the time we finally received our meals. The waitress only checked on us after an hour when we said something. Even worse, no one took responsibility. The waitress wanted to blame the kitchen that the steak needed that time to "sit"... The manager came to apologize and instead of comping the drinks or parts of the meal, which still cost $250, she comped some apps and offered free booze - which we already had paid for plenty of drinks since we were waiting for our food for so long. No one took responsibility for the mishap and even worse, our experience was ruined and completely consumed our night. I'm so disappointed at the experience and how management, waitress, and chef didn't make better attempts to save the situation. We gave them many opportunities to avoid the outcome of our dinner but they did not want to right ship. read more

First time at the restaurant and opted for kitchen bar seating (the patio and the regular seating inside both looked great too). Had a bit of delay in our service due to a shift change but we enjoyed watching the kitchen staff do their thing. Seeing the food come off the line was helpful when making selections - didn't even need to read the full menu since the sweet tea fried chicken, double burger, ribeye, corn, smoked wahoo dip and chicharrones caught our eye! Our waiter Bill was very attentive but gave us enough space to enjoy the food and company. Downlow on the food: Sweet tea chicken - moist, beautifully fried chicken. You'll need extra crack sauce because one hit is never enough. The Mac and cheese was fresh and not mushy. Can't say much about the biscuit since I was so full I didn't really have room for it. I will say that they were also fresh because they pulled the tray out just before we ordered. Double burger - perfectly cooked and it was moist and runny, like a good burger should be. The side of fries were so crispy and delicious. Ordered extra crack sauce from the sweet tea chicken for the fries. The mini chocolate malt shake that comes with the burger was f'in awesome. This meal will fill you up. Had a good baby when I left. The street corn is a healthy serving size but the chicharrones and smoked wahoo are a little smaller in size. The pickles with the wahoo were perfect and those pickled peppers have some heat! Overall, really enjoyed he atmosphere and the food. Unfortunately they stuck us in the back in the cellar , it got so hot inside and we asked the waiter and he said oh yeah it's a 84 degrees in here and we can't turn it down . My friend and I were very happy with District Table & Bar. High-end, farm-to-table, and doing a good job of it. First of all, they have a full bar. Once upon a time they didn't, but now they do. This is important to me, it may be important to you. We started with the rosemary olive bread, which was tasty. The buffalo pig ears followed. We wished they weren't so spicy, or that they came with blue cheese that wasn't so sharp. Okay - if you're going to do "buffalo wing" spice level like they do in Buffalo, then yes, they better be hot. BUT, you need mild, creamy, "blue cheese dressing" to go with it - dairy is the best defense against spice. But then the kitchen got fancy, and rolled out the sharp blue cheese. You did it wrong, and you lost a star, b/c my first experience eating pig ears (yay!) blasted my palate (sad!) Everything else was delicious, especially the pickled local shrimp. The fried chicken was some of the best we've ever had, but we're Yanks so consider that. Same for the the mac & cheese. If I were in the area again, I'd definitely go back. read more

This used to be a great restaurant that I would have given 5 stars. It has really gone downhill recently. I went there today with a group of five of us. Three of which had never been here before. I recommended the sweet tea chicken but tonight it was bland. Four of us had the chicken and nobody was very impressed by it. We were pretty disappointed. Then the table buss boy asked to take our plates and we all still had our biscuits left. He did not give us the jam that goes with the biscuit which is kind of the whole point of that part of the meal. In all we spent over $200 on our dinner and we left thinking that we had just had a mediocre meal and experience. This is the second time I've been disappointed here but it seems to be getting progressively worse. The real shame is that we had brought three first timers with us this time and I'm afraid that the first impression wasn't a great one. read more

Outstanding! My family loves this place, it's a little pricey so we don't go as often as we'd like. My favorite is the steak and fries, and the rest of my family is obsessed with the burger. We went for dinner last Friday night. We called for reservations and the lady who answered made a big deal about trying to find us a spot. When we arrived at our 5:30 reservation there were at least 10 empty tables and that many were available the whole time we were there. We ordered drinks,a bottle of wine and the seafood tower ( $125). The tower consisted of 12 oysters , 3 pieces of yellow fin tuna, 3 small stone crab claws, and snapper ceviche. Everything tasted OK but was we felt overpriced for the small portions. However a few hours later both my wife and I were very sick and it lasted the whole night. Of course we cannot prove it came from their food but that was all we ate for the whole day. read more

However, our last time there we had a reservation and it was prolonged 30 minutes because other customers without reservations were being seated before us. Paid an extravagant amount of money for the grouper that was the size of my finger. It left a really bad impression on us and our two guests who have never eaten there before. Great food. Handicap wheelchair access to the entrance is NOT acceptable. It was raining hard and my daughter's electric wheelchair can't get wet. The shortest route to cover is blocked by a planter so they can get more outdoor seating. The path from the parking lot to the sidewalk is rock based so we had to go back around into the parking lot to the sidewalk where cars enter. This is very dangerous for those in a wheelchair. I question if this is ADA compliant. So other than starting the meal off really upset, the rest of the experience was good. read more

Was unexpected for dinner but so glad we stopped. Our server Dante was excellent, attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. Deviled eggs and the elote corn was ridiculously good. The biscuit that came with the sweet tea chicken had to have been my favorite . Even tried to buy an extra biscuit. Have already suggested it to others. Will definitely be back again. read more
