They schedule a service tech on a particular day each week. They test, add chemicals, skim pool, clean baskets and tiles, brush, and even vacuum. They even take a photo after they are done and email you a report. Great value for all the services! Our tech David is awesome. Super chill, hard working, and I love that he latches our gate softly when exiting (takes care of our property). Communication is great. We had a small leak in our tank. I emailed the office and Giana coordinated the fix. Awesome service! Yes, they have dedicated repair staff too. I wish I would have found this team years ago. The raised spa is one of our favorite features and gives it that resort vibe. Corey was awesome to work with, very responsive, easygoing, and kept everything on track. The biggest surprise was how fast it all came together... they finished the entire pool and spa in less than 3 months, which is pretty amazing. I am so incredibly glad we didn't do that and chose to go with SD Pools instead. We initially met with Josh, who walked us through everything (timeline, cost, the process, etc). Once the build started, we worked with our project manager, Enrique, who went above and beyond to make sure things happened in a timely fashion and that we would be happy with the final project. Chad has been handling our maintenance for the last month and has been absolutely fantastic. And they were always a text or call away to answer any silly questions throughout. You can truly tell that this team takes pride in their work. They are communicative, easy to work with, above and beyond helpful, and the pool itself is absolutely gorgeous. He knew our pool was built in 1961 so the plumbing and electrical was old and they would have to reroute everything, but he didn't mention it. He knew the light was leaking and they would have to replace the housing, wiring and grounding but it wasn't included in our bid. It wasn't until contracts were signed and demolition had begun that he brought up those topics. Of course, every single thing was an ad on! We didn't realize that plumbing & electrical wasn't part of the original bid. Obviously you need those things to run a pool... Watch out! The price they quote you is no where near what it's going to actually cost! In the end, our pool turned out beautiful but I thought these guys were unprofessional.

Through each phase, the office and field workers communicated effectively as to the next steps. Finish upgrade information was provided, tile choices and costs were clearly explained. The execution of the work was flawless. The tile setters did a spectacular job of fit and finish and the plaster crew provided an excellent polished pebble finish. I would highly recommend them.

Rudy at Payan performed a repair today. The water had been previously shutoff, and after the repair he turned the water on. It created a "rushing" water noise unrelated to the repair. He contacted me and about the unrelated issue and resolved it.

He listened to what we wanted and used his visionary talent to design a pool and spa to fit perfectly in our backyard with all the features we asked for. Paul started and finished on time and on budget. Paul was responsive and great to work with. The Amazing Pools crew was truly that...Amazing! They were careful, clean and courteous. Paul guided his team swiftly and seamlessly from one phase of the project to the next. I especially appreciate that Paul didn't come in and nickel and dime us for every little feature. I like that when something needed to get done Paul got it done. From the beginning Paul proposed a pool that had everything we wanted and helped to steer us in a direction that led to a pool that is simply spectacular! And yes, the same "NEW owners" Paul referenced in his reply back to Dawn on 05/16/2016. As Dawn noted the pool was completed in August 2013. Shortly after moving in, we first noticed cracks in the concrete coping surrounding the pool that had been built less than 2 years before we bought the property. It was obvious, and validated by other contractors, that a very shoddy job on the initial concrete pour led to the cracks and ultimately chunks of the pool coping falling out. Paul stopped by in the summer of 2015 to check in on us as the new owners. My wife pointed out those cracks and one other minor issue with the uneven infinity edge that needed to be fixed. He acknowledged what we pointed out, said that he'd come back and fix the problems, but told us he was very busy and we should contact him again after September. Her repeated attempts to reach Paul after September went unanswered for more than 2 years and it was only when I called (from a different phone number) that he did answer. I shared photos and explained the timeline, including the initial contact window based on when we saw the problem, and asked him to come and inspect. He told me any issue was now out of warranty (3 years) which explained why he ignored our calls during the in warranty period. He did refer us to a third party for a quote (over $16,000) and then offered to come by and provide his own quote for the repair. What a great way to monetize the original poor product quality. I will say the design of the pool is nice, but to knowingly ignore a faulty issue with the original construction and concrete work is simply bad business. Fast forward to 2023 and we are in the process of selling our home. We had a different contractor come and fix the entire pool coping as there were multiple cracks and large chunks falling out. The new owners quickly noticed the uneven infinity edge and wanted that to be addressed by us, the sellers. We had other contractors come bid the repair work at reasonable rates, but somehow the new owners contacted Amazing Pools to do the same. Once again Paul seized the opportunity to monetize the problem (that he said he'd fix for free back in 2015) and quoted a ridiculous amount of money to do so. In essence what should have been fixed in good faith a few years early at no charge was now an almost $10,000 problem for us. When I asked him to recall the past and see if he'd now at least repair the infinity edge as originally promised, he blew us off. The pool design is nice, but the poor workmanship and now the actions of the owner to address that shoddy work and not honoring his commitments lead me to tell any others considering Amazing Pools to run, not walk, away as quickly as possible.

Here are the multiple reasons: (1) We had good experiences talking and working with every person we interacted with. They were knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. (2) The job was done 2x faster than we expected and there were no breaks in having the crews on-site. The crews were busy the entire time. (3) The quality of the finished work is beyond great. The end result is superb. (4) The fee was reasonable. Money well spent.

Update: Since posting this review Paradise Pools has reached out and were very eager resolve my…read moreissues. They came out and sanded around my skimmer lid as well as removed and reinstalled all of the loose tile on my spillway between the spa and pool. I am glad that in the end they made right what they could. I will also say that they offered to have their team come work on the pavers to improve the uneven cuts the other contractor left. While I am frustrated that they recommended a contractor that wasn't good, the poor quality of that work is not theirs to own. I thank them for the things they did fix, I just wish it didn't have to hinge around a yelp review.

We selected Capstone/Dynamic Pools after watching their renovation work for our neighbor's pool. We…read moreliked what we saw. But, as we always do, we received three (3) bids including Capstone. Their bid was in the middle -- very fair price for high quality work. When we signed the contract, they stated the project (complete pool renovation - surface, waterline tile and coping reset) would take about four (4) to five (4) weeks. They completed the work in two (2) weeks. During the process, they clearly communicated day of service, time, their intentions and scope of work. We were very impressed in how they conduct their business. To say the least, Capstone/Dynamic is very professional, clear in delivery expectations and communications, and incredibly skilled in their craft -- pool renovation, especially surfaces. We have a pebble surface that has been expertly done and gives the water a "Caribbean Blue" color. Without question, I highly recommend Capstone/Dynamic for your pool renovation project. In our opinion, none better!

We hired Capstone to renovate our pool a few years ago. The project included replacing the original…read moreplaster with PebbleTec, installing new waterline tile, and refinishing the rocks, waterfall, and slide, and new pool lights. Their office staff communicated well throughout the process, but unfortunately the workmanship has resulted in ongoing problems. They have returned approximately five times to address issues, yet we continue to have concerns. One major problem was that the area where the new tile met the skimmer box was never properly sealed, causing the pool to leak. We were told we needed to pay to have the leak detected, so we ultimately fixed the issue ourselves. The pool lights did not work. The paint used on the rocks has also proven to be very poor quality. It continually peels off, exposing the gray primer underneath, making the pool look worn despite only being a few years old. The PebbleTec finish is extremely rough--so rough that it has caused our children's feet to bleed while swimming. We expected a durable, professionally finished pool, not one that has required repeated repairs and still isn't comfortable to use. While the communication from their team was good, the quality of the work did not meet our expectations, and we cannot recommend them based on our experience.
