Everything started amazing excavation was done in 2.5 days and they were able to work on a small space. Our issues happened when new subcontractors switched around. The scheduler Lulu dropped the ball on every step possible. The shotcrete people drained the cement mixer rubble on the HOA storm drains. They were suppose to dump chemical water onto the sewer pipes but dumped it in storm drain instead. Our first Flagstone/Tile guy did nothing for 3 weeks and that delayed the project. The new Tile/ flagstone guy did ok work but he buried 1200 lbs of cement and rocks debris in my planter boxes which I had to dig out. They almost forgot to install overflow connection until I pointed it out. The overflow connection was poorly done and takes forever to drain. The pebbletec vendor cut pipe from our auto filler and sprayed over it. it took over a week to locate filler and drain hole and they had to drill leavingcrap load of debris and having to drain 2000 gallons of water. The final inspection took 1 year to complete due to vendor not scheduling. There are a few finishing touches that were missed. Over all I am happy with my pool but I feel like I did a lot of over sight that the general contractor should have done. There should have been someone that visited the site on a weekly period. You have to be vocal and look over the subcontractors shoulders. Sadly they are just doing this for dollar and sometimes very little thought process. My control panel is free standing almost in the middle of our deck I am not sure why I was not consulted where I would like the panel, I would have gladly had it mounted to the house outside wall like a circuit breaker panel. Like I said I am mostly very happy but that was because I had to take matters into my hands.

We had two weekly visits assigned per our contract along with many of the standard items such as vacuum, skim and scrub the walls. They would check chemicals and that's about it. Management is absent and the techs do whatever they want, which is nothing much. Our pool was always filthy, had been shut down a few times by the city and their price gouging on repairs were astronomical. Organization and standard cleanliness is not part of their program as they had literally used our poolroom as a dumpster and staging place for old parts and trash. The best part of Padre was getting rid of them. I highly recommend looking for another pool service or terminating them if you currently use them, as if you try and even work with them on contract related requirements, they literally refuse to comprehend customer service and quality of work.

I had reached out to several other companies with no success, one being overwhelmed and confused. Other companies made it seem like my job was too small for them stating they only do "the big jobs." So I was looking for someone who knew what they were doing and wasn't going to treat me like my job was too small. I am happy to say I found that in Daniel and H2O So Clean Pool and Spa Services. Daniel went into great detail about all the above items taking the time to explain the pricing and costs vs. benefits. He came by while the house was still in escrow to look over everything and explain what could be salvaged and what needed to be replaced. He sent a thorough summary from his visit along with quotes for each item and options recommended. He further simplified everything by breaking down what were "needs" and what were "wants" and educated me in the process. Absolutely incredible! Daniel advised me that the filter and pump could be salvaged, but that the heater needed to be replaced. He explained why the pool should not be acid washed as it was painted and the paint was already starting to peel off. He identified some safety hazards in that the pool drain cover was missing and the spa one was broken. He connected me with a referral and they worked together to resolve the issue as inexpensively as possible with Daniel installing the spa one - in my freezing cold spa. Daniel's crew even dove down the bottom of the pool to try and install the pool drain cover to save me some money, but unfortunately a pneumatic drill was needed to get the new one in so his referral ended up taking care of that for me! I am so relieved that is also being taken care of now by his first referral. I wound up going with Daniel's recommendation for: -New gas heater -Full automation of the system instead of the existing time clock -Phone, tablet, Alexa, Apple watch App -New light to replace a broken one and addition of a color LED bulb -Pool Cleaner -Vac-mate so that my skimmer could be split for the cleaner to work cleaning the bottom of the pool and the skimmer to work cleaning the surface of the water -Timer to turn the fill into semi-automatic instead of fully manual -Some miscellaneous parts that were broken Per his recommendation I held off on: -Filter - he cleaned it out and revived it with a few inexpensive parts -Pool pump - mine was working and I have solar panels, so upgrading to a more efficient variable speed pump wasn't as much of a concern Unfortunately there was a leak in the plumbing from the spa to the equipment. We had hoped it was just a blockage and Daniel tried valiantly to clear it first. Ultimately, Daniel's crew was able to diagnose the leak and took a video so I could present it to my home warranty to get it fixed. I am so happy his referral for this will repair this next week. Unfortunately Daniel does not perform weekly service in my area, but he was able to hook me up with a great referral for that too. It was a pleasure working with Daniel to bring my pool back to life! He always responded quickly and was very appreciative of the opportunity for the work as well as being very mindful of my project budget.

Tony was easy to work with, prompt about addressing any issues that arose, and his team worked longer and harder days than our general remodeling team. The pool itself took much longer than anticipated (they had to work in conjunction with our general remodel team and that delayed things considerably since our general remodel team's goal seems to be to bankrupt us and to never finish lol), but we are very happy with the our new pool and hot tub.

Poor/ inconsistent communication, damage to our residence / property, trash and debris left for weeks, failed inspection due to safety related corners being cut, arbitrary price changes and more. For example: a safety mechanism to prevent electrical shock was not completed to code. I was told to lie in order to pass inspection. We failed inspection. I have the video ! A unilateral price change was decided by Lacy and I was expected to sign and agree without consult. The contracted electrician left the electrical box wide open during a storm. A heavy amount of rain filled the inside of the electrical box and on the breaker. (Pictures attached) . The trencher recklessly damaged a gas line and electrical conduit instead of lifting the lines out of the ground. (I have the videos) A window was broken by workers. Not only was I not told about the damaged window - it took close to 6 months of repeated requests to have it repaired. Over 6 missed "replacement appointments ". Ultimately the replacement window was broken. My concrete driveway was snapped. I was told that it would be repaired. Later that changed full circle. In February, I asked for arbitration for the unresolved issues. Now after almost 2 months of stalling - still no arbitration. Things fell apart after the initial sale. I should have questioned their ethical frame work when the process started out with a request to back-date the contract. It only got worse. Sadly, I have more examples of poor workmanship if needed. This pool project that has begun in August 2025 is still not complete. With all of these major problems before the pool is complete - do you think they will stand behind their product after it's complete ? Choose wisely, I didn't.

We needed a pool/massive hot tub, full yard decking, lighting, solar system, and some unanticipated yard redesign. They handled every detail regarding each project along the way including the painful permit and inspection requirements. They never buckled and dined us, even when there was some opportunity for design changes, surprise yard changes, painting areas not even in the contract. There was never a haggle or conversation other than, don't worry, we will take care of it. I never heard about it again. Now the projects are complete, they are still following up and coming by to make sure of our happiness. It was such a positive experience, especially because we travel a lot, and we're gone for stretches of time - but not once had to worry. They always kept their word every step of a multi month long job, to where I never worried once about them delivering the next step, or even had to follow up with them. I can't recommend them enough, and tell all my friends about finally having a great experience from a service provider, that was wrought with heavy potential stress points.
