I had a great experience at Discovery Automotive! I woke up to find the battery in my 2017 MINI Cooper was dead. I did not want to take it the dealership given how expensive that tends to be but I needed to drive home in just a few days. After calling around, I found that Discovery services MINI/BMW and had availability that day! I was able to jump the car and get it in after some back and forth on the phone. Tracy, who helped me, was very friendly and helpful. I was able to pickup my car the same day. They are also open until 6:30 which is nice if you work. The service was pricey, but I think that is mostly because the MINI battery was so expensive. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you have a Land Rover. Being 5 states away from home, and about to get on the road, my car wouldn't drive! I called several places in a desperate state, and Tracy said we can get you in today, just get towed here we can help! They found the issue that day, and I got my car all ready to go in less than 24 hours! A lot of places don't work on Land Rovers here, and they knew the ins and outs! My husband was locked out his car with my 2 year old daughter across the street from this establishment. He simply walked in to see if maybe someone could assist him with getting in his car. While he was looked dead in the face by a worker no one spoke to him or even acknowledged him for 15 mins. My husband is a black man. Great people, fantastic service, Superb prices! I went to get my brakes done on my 2015 BMW 328i MSport and was quoted $850 at another Garage because they told me that I needed to do my rotors as well. When I went to discovery they were extremely honest and told me that my Rotors were still in great shape and that I just needed the brakes to be done. Ended up saving me 60% and I was able to get great Ice Cream recommendations for the area. I paid for a pre-purchase inspection of a car on 12/10/21. I was asked to pay over phone before that morning although they made no note of this when I made the appointment. After several hours I was notified that they couldn't finish the inspection because of a flat tire that they knew about (Service writer claimed it came in like that the day before) but didn't tell me about because it "wasn't his responsibility". The service writer yelled, wouldn't allow me to speak and then accused me of yelling at him; this was preposterous as I work in a professional environment and everyone around me could hear him yelling at me over the phone. I was told not to buy the car because of several codes - after pressing about this further the writer finally admitted these were "stored" and not "active" which means they were no longer presenting a problem. This experience was very bizarre and they knew they weren't be honest with me from the beginning that morning. read more

I own a 2000 Disco II that has been in my family since 'mile 1'. Recently, I allowed my sixteen-year-old to convince me to let her use it as her daily driver. And then, when I received a text asking if she could go 'off road' I said OK...not knowing off-road was code for mudding. In 15 minutes, the Rover was destroyed; front bumper is broken, fog lights missing, wires were torn loose, engine caked in mud, etc. This is original paint, original interior, near-new Disco that just happens to be 20 years old.
