Later that evening, they called with a repair estimate of $2,156 to replace the radiator fan, thermostat, and tires, plus $309 just to refill the antifreeze. When I called to ask about alternatives, they only reduced the price by $20. That felt excessive, so I decided to get a second opinion. I ended up going to NC Complete Auto Care, where the radiator fan was replaced for $881. They didn't charge for refilling the antifreeze and said the thermostat wasn't an issue and did not need to be replaced. They also let me know I could safely wait on the tires for a couple more months. I appreciated the transparency and will be taking my business there from now on. I can't recommend Cary Car Care based on my experience.

Once that was done, the car is still unfixed, damage caused by DiscountTire, with management having dishonest practices and inability to take accountability. The car is now dangerous to drive as one nudge off center at speeds above 50 will skid back tires. Though they will try to milk out as much money from you as possible, so go here if you want that.

We get at least one nail in our car tire a year ... at a minimum. They pull the tire fix it and get us on our way quickly... often the same day if it occurs in the morning. We've also used them to replace tires when they finally have worn out. I measure the quality of companies I use based on what happens when things have gone wrong. Fortunately, I've never had anything go wrong with this business but I can say we've never been disappointed with them.
