Originally made an appointment for 12 on Saturday, called to change appointment (4 new tires) 8:30 Saturday morning to 10:00. They obliged and set the appointment. When we got there they said probably 1 1/2 hours my tires would be installed and alignment "should be" done as well. After checking in I looked at my watch, it was 10:10. At 10.35 I received a message my tires were installed. I went to the counter and was told they were aligning tires right away. At 10:42 they called my name and said car is ready. I was stunned. Normally service says 1 1/2 hours and 2 plus hours later you're still waiting. Their service was AMAZING. Car rides better now than it did with factory tires. We had been on the road 7 hours with our toddler and dog coming back home from a vacation. Needless to say, we were in a bit of a predicament. i'm honestly sitting outside on the bench in front of this place thanking God for these people that took care of me today. this morning my back tire pot and I had to get it replaced, and as I was trying to make up for the late time by getting to work, my front tire ended up popping as well. Just so unfortunate. But when my second tire popped, the closest place was discount tire. I chug the car all the way over there and the rest of what was left of the tire keeping the from touching the ground fell off as I parked my car. It was like the universe or God showing me that this was the perfect decision to make. I have been struggling in and out with this car day and day out for a long time and just trying to get to the bottom of everything with the car. It's been a crazy money pit but it's what I have and what I have to work with to be able to take care of my kids and my other responsibilities. I take everything day by day and I barely have help or anyone to talk to. So when I walked in the store just trying to use whatever last of my money to get my car back and running, I was very glad that the guys understand everything and took the initiative to help me out whenever where they could. especially Prestin, and the advisor that came out with him to check my car out and request that i get it checked out for free after getting my bad tires taken care of. Every time we have a tire problem we go here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of tires. Service is usually very quick. You can make an appointment or walk in. Flat tires are fixed for free. We have had three flats over the years and each time our tire was repaired for free. They will try and sell you new tires every chance they can. We recently bought a new set of tires that will be rotated for free as long as we own them. Prices are comparable and their service is great. read more

Not even sure how anyone can give this place a bad review! I've done my business at this location for the last few years and they've always been super accommodating. Latest and most current situation (as I sit here waiting on my new tires to be put on) happened a week ago when I had a flat in one of my Nitto Terra Grappler G2's. I stopped at the Durbin location to get it fixed but it was unfixable. I decided to try a whole new set of BF Goodrich's which I didn't like the feel too much. Came straight here after leaving there with the new tires and spoke with Erick about getting the Nitto's put back on. They had to search the country to find 4 new tires since they're being phased out but got 4 of them in and I'm here now getting them put on and super excited. My old Nittos had 22,000 miles on them. Really nice guys. They don't try and up sell you on tires they sell you what you need and as far as I can tell the prices they charge are fair. Also as an FYI they usually change up their monthly sales at the beginning of the month. So if the tires you want aren't on sale and you can wait they may be on sale the next cycle. Also they only do tires, no oil change or even brakes, but if you buy from there free tire rotations. read more

With a flat rear tire that needed to be replaced, I called to compare pricing against our wholesale club. I spoke with Luis in the morning to explain the situation and to see if they had the tires we wanted in stock. Although he didn't have them, he offered to get them in the same day and quoted us a better price. I drove in on a spare tire at our scheduled time. Luis was with another customer but Sam kindly took over and did an honest assessment of the damage as well as the condition of our other tires. Even though we probably could have gotten by for another few months by repairing the flat, I decided to go ahead and replace all four tires since there was an additional $70 rebate from Michelin for a set of 4. They squeezed me in the last couple of hours before the store closed. After hanging out at the nearby Ruby Tuesday for an hour or so, I walked back to Discount Tire. My new tires were installed and I was good to go. Everyone on the team was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very disappointed with this locations lack of customer service. I had two tires changed in early December 2022. During the process one of the hub caps on my truck was broken which I was assured would be replaced. After calling the store multiple times to inquire about the part, I was told it was ordered but there always seemed to be an issue with shipment or some other delay. I saw them and let them know that I recently got tires from another one of their other locations and that I had a PSI issue on one. They took my receipt and checked my car out almost instantly. Let me know that there was a screw on the inside of the tire so had to be seen if you took the tire off and gave me a new one for a good price! Got me out of there in 30 minutes! The reply," I don't know how they are selling those tires for that price." The best they could do was still over a $100 difference. I stopped by this location right off 95 S due to a nail in my back driver side tire. It was after hours. When I pulled up I was immediately approached by a gentle whom I explained my situation to. He directed me to wait in the waiting room while he checked it out. After about 7 minutes my tire was patched and they sent me on my way. Very pleasant experience to say the least. Always have great service here at the Saint Augustine store location. Christian, George, and Tristan have all been great. I have been to many tire places in the area and Discount is the best. I have waited before because of issues that arise, but nothing is perfect and I am a patient person, most of the time. They are polite and courteous. I never have a problem with getting repairs, most of the time without charge. I understand that sales takes precedence over repairs. Last time I had two repairs, one cut nail in my wife car tire and a nail in my truck tire. Brought them the wife's car tire, since it was completely flat, and drove in my truck. Tristan and George had them done and rotated my truck tires in about 45 minutes. I will wait for good service. Some things are worth the wait. read more

They always match online retailers' prices and give excellent warranties, often with rebates as well. Most recently, I was concerned about my tire since it had a screw in it, and it's a run-flat tire. They reassured me that they could patch it for free. Went there with a nail in a tire with a slow leak . They were absolutely as nice as as pleasant as possible . Ultimately the nail was too close to the sidewalk to patch so I had to have them replace the tire. They were fast and VERY REASONABLE.
