Our family of four plus a dog were about to drive back to Atlanta, when our car failed. Of course it was 4:45pm on a Friday. Fortunately we were less than 2 miles away from A1A Auto. I called them, and they were very helpful. They stayed past 5:00 for us, identified and fixed the issue quickly, and charged us a very fair price. We made it home that night. Developed a flat tire on A1A. It was close to closing time but pulled in to check out our tire. We were told that they don't work on tires but would do what they could to help so we could get back on the road. They found a large bolt and determined the tire was not able to be used so they graciously put our spare on and checked its pressure. The pressure was low so air was added to get us going. All this was done with kindness and genuine concern. They would not accept payment for services. We left feeling we had found a place we could trust for future auto services and will definitely go back when necessary. They were very professional. We appreciate the help and kindness. I rented a car that had low tire pressure and didn't notice for a couple days when I came out to pack up the car the tire was almost flat. Thank God next door there was an auto center. I walked over and they asked me to drive the car over. They stopped what they were doing and assisted me right away finding a screw and plugging my tire. I made a joke about it being 2020 and my birthday, The owner came over wish me a happy birthday and gave me a great deal on the service. These guys have helped out me and my dad more than I can explain. We've been going to them for many years and gotten comfortable talking with Gary there , eventually he started giving us a few complimentary checks for little things (we always expected to pay him since the service was awesome). Recently my dads car was determined totaled and the tow truck came to the shop while we were out of town, and Gary got all of my fathers belongings out of the car and texted him saying how sorry he was about the car and that he would keep an eye out for a new one. His kindness is so appreciated by us, I've been meaning to swing by there and give Gary a gift card or something for going out of his way to keep in contact with us regularly and show that he cares about our patronage. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We were driving back to the Keys from South Carolina when the alternator went out on our Honda Pilot. We showed up here and they took the time to replace the alternator - even going TWO HOURS after closing time to ensure we were back on the road the same day. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! I WAS RIPPED OFF BY ALMOST $300 AND HE DIDNT FINISH THE JOB!!! Eddie has done good work for me in the past...this time was different. It had been about 3 years since Eddie had fixed a car for me, so he didn't remember me. I had busted the ball joint on the right side. I trusted him because he had done me right before. He charged me almost $800 to repair the damage...Eddie told me the other side would go out soon and was trying to charge me almost another $800 to repair the left side. I did not have $1,600 at the time, so I did not get both sides repaired...2 weeks later, as expected, my left ball joint fails...same problems, now on the left side...I needed it fixed ASAP...I just had a feeling that when Eddie fixed the right side, he charged too much. The right turn signal wasn't even working after he fixed the right side, and the windshield washer fluid tank was still busted, from how the car collapsed onto the tire when the ball joint busted, and my alignment was messed up... He left the job undone and he screwed me...This time, for the left side, l took it to Atlantic Automotive nearby and they charged me $524...My car now drives like its brand!!! EDDIE RIPPED ME OFF BY ALMOST $300, AND DID NOT FINISH THE JOB!!! Thank God Atlantic Automotive was honest. My car is driving like it's brand new, and I have an extra $300 in my pocket, because took my car to Atlantic Automotove, it's about a mile away from this shop. read more
