I left a message and early the next morning one of their salesmen, John Duford, called. He was friendly and answered my questions so we drove up to the dealership that morning. John had this particular Jeep parked out front which was nice. He was again very informative and no pressure. We decided to purchase said Jeep after driving same and imagine our surprise that we were out of there in two hours which included driving to our bank to obtain a cashier's check! He even helped my husband pair his cellphone with the Jeep before we drove off. Two days later John called to verify we were satisfied and if we had any questions or problems. The first thing I want to note is that, in my opinion, so many of these reviews for this business are AI or otherwise falsely generated. It's very easy now for businesses to pay for or generate reviews and it seems to be the only thing these guys do well. I went to Hanania to see if they were in the market for purchasing our vehicle. We were in need of a tow vehicle and ours was on its last leg, so we thought we would sell it and use the money to put down on a new one when we were ready. Hanania was local and convenient. We were lowballed on the amount they gave us ($800) which seems to be the exact same offer as every other person who sold a vehicle to them regardless of the vehicle, but we weren't desperate and didn't have time to shop around, so we took the offer. They took our vehicle and told us that they would be mailing a check and that it would be to us in a couple of days. It took two weeks to get paid for the vehicle that they had already taken from us. We finally had to contact their general manager to get a check written for us that we had to travel to Jacksonville to pick up. That same general manager spoke with my husband, talked a good game, and assured us that it was a one time mistake and that he would personally take care of us when we were ready to purchase our vehicle....we fell for it. When the time came, we gave them another chance. Here's where it gets bad. We went to the dealership and spoke with "Jack". Jack said I was approved and he just needed to find the vehicle we needed and that he would let us know when he had one. So, we waited. And waited...when he finally called and said that he had exactly the vehicle we wanted and it was ready to be shipped to our location, we just needed to give them a down payment, so we did. They took money from our bank account. At this point, we are more than 10 days into this transaction. We then got a text from Jack asking us if there were any other colors that we would accept, we were very confused....wait, what? I thought he already had our car on its way and that's the reason we put $$ down. WTH? So, he gave us some lines about the color not being available and we continued on since we were already into the transaction pretty deep. When another week of us asking questions and getting no responses went by, I started getting more aggressive with my texts. Then we got a text that he was having trouble getting me approved. What in the absolute scam did I get myself into? At that point, we had already lost out on several events because we didn't have a tow vehicle. I decided to get the General Manager involved. When we contacted him and told him what was going on, he said he would "get in the middle of it". They still have our money at this point. After several more days of waiting, he texted us that there are no vehicles available that match what we need, but that we were pre-approved for a different truck on the lot and that he was going to text us a picture of the sticker and if we like it, he would get the ball rolling on it. The text with the picture never came....from the general manager (Paul). We messaged him and called and still no text. When we finally got in touch with him after the weekend, he kept telling us that he was still working on it. WHAT? At this point, Jack has stopped communicating with us entirely even when we messaged him. They still have our money. More than a month after we began the transaction, gave them a down payment, and communicated with someone as high up as we could go, we had gotten nowhere. I had finally had enough and told them that they needed to give me my money back. It took them almost a week to give it back. No apology, nothing. Just a text that said that it had been refunded. Then came the letters. They hit my credit with inquiries 9 times. Yes, that's right....9 times with hard inquiries. More than 40 letters in the mail about inquiries into our credit. This service department gave me a runaround for seven months on a defect in my ram 1500. The fabric on the dash was bubbling when I called the rep told me it would be a month to get a new dash. I called back a month later and he said it was on backorder and it'd be a "" a few months". I call back a few months later and a new rep said that that was not true. you also said that I would have to pay $500 to offset the Goodwill claim. On December 26, 2026, I brought my Jeep to Hanania Chrysler Dodge Jeep due to a sticky ignition key at approximately 8:35 a.m. Sean, service advisor, quoted a $189 diagnostic fee. After the diagnostic, I was provided a repair estimate totaling between $1,321.99 and $1,632.00, for a new ignition and one or two new keys to be programmed for the new ignition. Sean advised me that new keys would be required in order to replace the ignition with a warranty. When I returned around 3:15 p.m. to retrieve my vehicle and pay the diagnostic fee, I was charged $232.64 instead of the quoted $189. Sean informed at that time that shop fees and taxes had not been previously mentioned. Between the drop-off, pick-up, and multiple conversations and text exchanges throughout the day, trying to get an estimate, I became increasingly uncomfortable with the communication and lack of transparency, and chose to remove my vehicle from the property. On Monday, December 29, 2026, I took my Jeep to a local independent shop. They replaced the ignition for $596 using new Mopar parts, provided a two-year warranty, and rekeyed the new ignition to my existing keys. Contrary to what I was told at Hanania, new keys were not required. A couple of weeks later, I returned to Hanania to speak with the service manager regarding the unexpected charges and overall service experience. Unfortunately, the interaction was unproductive. The service manager was immediately defensive and focused on labeling our concerns as aggressive rather than listening to or addressing the issues raised. During this meeting, Sean was present and made statements that directly contradicted what he had previously communicated to me. This was an extremely disappointing experience marked by poor communication, lack of transparency, and unprofessional customer service. The orange park park dealer tried to pull a fast one on us and I ended up calling him back. Honest service department, very dishonest sales department. We wanted 4 wheel drive for my daughter so she could drive on the beach. I was very explicit to the salesman about what I meant by 4 wheel drive and our purpose. He sold us a Compass. It said 4x4 on back and had switch that said 4WD Lock. He led us to believe we were getting a true 4 wheel drive, like my Tahoe had. So we bought it. Turns out that my daughter got stuck in the sand and had to get towed. Front left tire and back right tire turned only. Exactly what I told him I did not want. Got in argument over phone with sales manager over definition of 4WD (4x4). He clearly does not know what he's talking about. My neighbor, Byron, who bought a Gladiator Mohave edition had similar story with his purchase there. They let him believe he was getting adaptive cruise control. He said "they will just let you believe what you wanna believe." "If you complain, they get very nasty." Now he's buying a Sahara for his daughter, but not from Atlantic. If you do buy there, only deal with the service people. They will tell you the truth, which totally contradicts what you get in the sales department. I don't know how Jeep can put 4x4 on these cars that are not 4x4s. Must be playing word games. Called the service department and spoke to Bryan, i wanted to come in for an oil change and a brake check; having crossed country a couple of months prior, I knew my jeep was ready for some new oil. If you're looking for a service provider to find EVERY possible reason to NOT repair your vehicle during its warranty period, look no further than the "Service" Department at Atlantic Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram! Just wrapped up my 4th visit NOT having my issue corrected on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler. Service manager was not able to replicate the same issue I showed them a video of on my phone, told me their diagnostic effort did not replicate the actual operating environment the issue was experienced under, and then provided me an invoice stating the exact opposite of what the service manager (Chris) just told me. He complained to me that he had over 2hrs of diagnostic time in my vehicle after I'd spent over 8 hours of my time driving to/from the dealership and waiting in their waiting room over 4 visits! Oh, and the Hertz rental car that they "provided" needed to be returned with a full tank of gas, but they had no problem returning my Jeep to me on EMPTY - having burned through 3/8 tank of gas running their "diagnostics". This place is an utter joke, the service manager has no idea what service even means, and they'll find EVERY reason to not service a vehicle under warranty.... and the problem resurfaced within 14 minutes of leaving their parking lot - for the 4th time. (Don't let the comment from Chris below fool you - it's written as though they care but he told me flat out there's nothing else they would do & was more than happy to see me leave their building. Six months after purchasing a vehicle the vehicle's paint began, to only what I can describe as, delaminate from the rear and front of the vehicle. Upon contacting the body shop they stated they would need to order replacement parts for the vehicle. Months went by and no call back. Finally, was able to reach the body shop and they stated everything is on backorder. More time passed and had to reach back out to the body shop only to be informed by the new General Manager that the body shop had been closed due to negligence and poor workmanship and was told to take it to another dealership. Upon taking the vehicle to another dealership we were advised that there was something wrong with the vehicle's paint job during production. Once again, we contacted the St. Augustine dealership and at this time was advised the new body shop was open and to bring the vehicle in to be reviewed. Upon review from the General Manager and the Body Shop manager, finally they committed to repainting the rear and front of the vehicle. Upon completion three months later, the pain began to come off of the rear of the vehicle in chunks and the delamination began again. We attempted to contact the General Manager Anthony and were unsuccessful though were able to get in contact with the Body Shop manager Jason and he said to bring it in so that he could review as of which we did immediately. Upon arrival we attempted again to contact the General Manager and were unsuccessful. Jason stated that he would be sure that the vehicle was taken care of, and we scheduled a time to drop it off. At this time there was still no contact from the General Manager. The day prior to dropping off the vehicle we attempted to contact the General Manager once again with no luck, though a message was left for the General Manager to call back. Again, no call back from the General Manager instead we received a call back from the Body Shop Manager, Jason, confirming our appointment and that a rental car would be ready for us during the duration of the repair. A few hours after dropping off the vehicle the General Manager finally contacted us only to inform us that they would not be repairing the vehicle. Their reason was that the pain was being melted off due to where we were parking the vehicle. The General Manager was informed that this was not possible for 9 hours of the day the vehicle parked, backed in, under a covered area and on top of that a canopy of trees. The General Manager went on to explain that we would now need to make an insurance claim on the vehicle to initiate the repair again placing the blame on us. We were informed that we were more than welcome to come onsite and take a look at what they discovered for any blind person could see and understand what was being stated. This was insulting and, in my opinion, very unprofessional. If you are considering doing business with this location, please note our experience and Anthony's, the General Manager, unprofessionalism. It even went as far as when we arrived to pick up the vehicle, we overheard him discussing the situation with one of his colleagues again stating that it was where the vehicle was parked and that is is not their problem. Have had service on our Grand Caravan here in the past. Were given a newer loaner for the duration. Fancy features were very appealing! Car fixed in reasonable time and for reasonable price. A few weeks ago we had an engine light come on before our trek north. Got 1st appointment the next morning and had reassuring news in less than 10 minutes that the issue was minor and could be looked at after our trip. I waited a week for a wheel alignment appointment, got up at 7:30 AM for my 8 AM appointment. I needed my vehicle and expected it to be done by9:30-10AM. However, I got a call at 1PM that my vehicle was ready. Time is $$$, but it seems to be Atlantic Dodge/Jeep's time that is worth more than mine. I do not think so! I could have gotten a local alignment at a lower price with better service!!! Also, I got a price for tires, balanced and installed from Atlantic. I thought the price was high for the tires and nonsense inflated surcharges. I got the same tires from Amazon(prime) and had them balanced, tires rotated and installed at my local mechanic's at almost half the cost. DUH!!! read more

Had a 0900 appointment, arrived at 08:45, one car was sitting in service area check in, sat in my car for 15 min, waiting for a service rep, one never came out. Went inside, one person at counter waiting on another person. Stayed for 10 min, no one even acknowledged I was there, l left, called and cancelled my appointment, and will get my car serviced elsewhere. read more
