Thank you so much! That is what I wanted to say first. On Monday morning on my way to work I heard a clacking noise. Pulled over there was a screw or nail in my Left front tire. I was bummed because I was just at Firestone 3 or so months ago and had my tires replaced. I called Firestone requesting an appt for Tuesday afternoon and was booked for 3pm on that Tuesday. I was able to get off a few hours early from work to make the drive from Jacksonville to St. Augustine. Once I arrived I was asked if I received a call to cancel. I said No. So they needed to reschedule me for either 10:15 am or 3pm neither time worked. I cancelled the next day and kept searching. I live in the Shores and I found Famous Automotive was open til 6pm. I booked online for 5pm. Just enough time to leave work at 4pm and be there by 5pm. I arrived 6 minutes late, I did send a text before informing Tim was very accommodating he said it was fine. Once I arrived an older gentleman assisted me and was so polite took my car to the back and was done in less than 20min. He pulled my car to the very front and handed me my keys, and said "you have a wonderful day ma'am." I walked up to his station to pay him and he said he was able to fix it, to have a wonderful day. It was such a blessing I wanted to cry , I was so grateful. Considering that day was a rough one for me. I did not remember the gentleman's name , but thank you for your kindness. I've taken both my vehicles there and have had great service, they stick to there quotes and dont give you the runaround, if anything I've paid less than quoted, due to coupons he discounts, on the final bill. They take care of there Military people As well. Chris Davis is a life saver! For the last few days my Chevrolet Silverado has been hesitant to wake up with each key turn. I work in healthcare so my day starts at 8am and ends at 5pm, most local businesses have the same hours. I was leaving work at 5 today and my baby really didn't want to do any more transporting me. The Chevy barley started and I knew I needed a new battery. I went to Autozone and Mike D said "we have a battery for your truck, but the computer says it takes 45 minutes to install and we can't have an employee tied up for that long". Very nice guy though. He said I need to call Chris at Famous Automotive and he may be able to take care of me. I called Chris and he said of course we can help you buddy come on down. Said I am two minutes away, got there at 5:36. Just as soon as I walked in the door the tech met me there and asked me for my key, (good thing he had a work shirt on or I may have thought I was being jacked). Long story short, Tony changed my 45 minute long repair into just a 15-20 minute job. They close at 6pm and I had my truck back right before closing. Super quick batter swap.
