I had a terrible experience here and strongly advise against going. I came in with a screw in the center of my rear tire and made an appointment based on the mostly positive reviews. Despite there being seven employees and only one other customer ahead of me, I waited 90 minutes while three technicians stood around smoking, staring at their phones, and lying on stacks of tires. When I finally got my car back, I discovered they hadn't actually repaired the damage. Instead of plugging the screw in the center of the tire, they plugged a completely different spot. Worse, they rotated the damaged tire to the front, making it seem like they had done the job. I had marked the damaged area of the tire before bringing it in, so I know for a fact that they worked on the wrong area. They charged me around $30, but I have no idea why they rotated my tires without charging for that--or why they didn't actually patch the right spot, which was just a small screw in the center of the tread. When I called to speak with a manager, they put me on with the same receptionist who had been training the day before. When I went back in person, I had to explain myself multiple times before someone finally acknowledged they would look at it. A guy eventually offered to fix the issue, but by that point, I had zero confidence in them touching my vehicle again. I was so frustrated and shaking--I just wanted to get out of there. Now, I'm up the road getting it checked out, and because they plugged the wrong spot, the tire can't be properly repaired. I have no choice but to replace it. I'm now opting for two new tires and a tire alignment--so what should have been a simple $30 repair is now costing me over $800. I don't know if this was incompetence, miscommunication, or something worse, but I wasted two days dealing with it, and now I'm paying the price. Avoid this place. read more

I had been in a few months ago for tires and suspension, and the service was great then but today I was trying to do an oil change and one of my bolts was way too tight. I drove it down and asked if they wouldn't mind just loosening it. They both jumped on it without hesitation, and I had the best attitude about it. Brought my in my 2021 jeep wrangler Rubicon in for a wheel alignment 3 different times because they weren't able to get it right. As I'm driving my jeep keep pulling to the right and my steering wheel isn't straight. The 3rd time I went in I told them they needed to use a adjustable wrench (2) to get my brand new tie rod and drag link out so they could do the wheel alignment. They didn't listen and scratch both tie rod and drag link and end up breaking them. Spoke with someone in corporate office 4 days later after calling 5 times Jonathan decided to call me back to tell me they had no records of me ever being at tire kingdom in ST Augustine FL. Called corporate when I got there and show the manager what they did. And all they wanted to do was issue me a refund for my wheel alignment and told me they would not fix the broken drag link and tie rod they broke and scratch. Been on the phone several times they to get a manager to help fix this but all I been getting is the run around. Be extremely careful with this company. All the techs are drug addicts or heavy drinkers. The will damage you car and lie about it. When you call corporate office to file a complaint, they will give you nothing but the run around especially that girl Brook. She made it seems like she was helping me but at the very end she ended up ignoring all my calls. This place is nothing but trash read more

New in area, have had a slow leak for weeks, driving me insane, so I went to Tire Kingdom (only business in my life I have trusted) they took good care of me, were Honest, professional, I would give a 10 star if I could. I just got new tires on my RAM Promaster PleasureWay RV and this Tire Kingdom was fantastic. I first went by to be sure they had a lift and could fit my van. Daniel assured me it was no problem and printed a selection of tires for my driving needs. I was pleased to see he found the most popular ones that owners of my same vehicle were recommending. They arrived the next day and the next morning I had new Michelins installed. Several of the technicians worked to get the van on the heavy-duty lift without disturbing my lp gas and grey tank lines -- excellent job. My old tires still looked great (30k miles) but these Agilis are more functional, comfortable & quiet. Great investment. Now I'm deciding what to put on the JEEP! read more

Holy cow what a rip off. Never going back. Stay away far away ! Only went because I had a previous brake pad warranty and needed new ones. They quoted me for rear only new rotors and calipers for $1300. Went back to my mechanic and got be back on the road with new pads for $150. Car drives like new. Chain automotive service will rip off if you don't the cost of repairs. Real shame business take advantage of hard working American's. Buyer be ware but Tire Kingdom should be ashamed of your business practices. read more

Sister in law visiting , had nail in tire on a Sunday. Again fixed reasonably and quickly with no appt. Lastly checked Aunt's tire pressure and inspect them with no charge. On June 24 2020 we made an appointment with Tire Kingdom to have 4 new tires installed . We had a 3 pm appointment. We told them when we got there that we would be waiting for the service. At 4pm our car still sat in the parking lot . I asked the front desk what was going on he said oh your next . At 4:40 we had had enough. We requested our keys back and told them that we were dissatisfied. The answer we got was that nobody waits for their cars they drop them off . So why take an appointment and they knew we were waiting . We made an appointment with Discount Tire in St Augustine and were taken on time and out the door within 1/2 an hour . read more

The customer service is so spotty at this establishment it is hard to believe. I was given excuses why a flat could not be fixed when I arrived ( not enough help), no exact time to return that day, an appointment set for tomorrow, but as a big storm was coming they might be open, might not. I called three times, no answer. OK, storm was bad as we had flooding in our area. Showed up next morning. Was told I didn't call as they were open all day and they never miss calls. Was told they were too busy to get to me. Associate asked me if I was calling him a liar and when I said no he walked away, out the front door, and around the building to the work area leaving me standing at the desk alone. On Veterans Day I stopped to help a nice looking lady change a flat because of a screw in her tire, recommended Tire Kingdom for a quick patch. She called and Tony advised her to bring it in. Got there and the rep was very helpful but company policy would not allow him to patch it because the tire was 5 years old with 20k mi on it. Well, it infuriates me to think he would not assist except sell her a new tire. Times are hard and I WILL NEVER, never recommend your business to anyone else. I went to Auto Zone and plugged the tire for her because of what you consider a safety hazard. Pure BS, it's another sales technique to sell a tire and blame it on regulations. Again, your just another business without heart chasing the $$$$. Well, not only did you lose one but today you lost 2 customers. They were happy to sell me tires but it was impossible to get the free tire rotation that came with them. I extended myself for this business 3 times in terms of re-scheduling due to them being low on staff and Covid issues. The last 2 appointments they told me one time but apparently scheduled it improperly on their computer. The final appointment the man missing many teeth told me I was an hour late (not the case) and with undoubted irritation in my tone I began to explain they're incorrect. Instantly he recoils and tells me I can't speak to him this way. I assured him he must have thicker skin than this but instead of professionally hearing me out he retreated to the garage like a coward while the other gentleman whom I know botched the last two appointments Just sat there beet red. This is the Kingdom from HELL!!! Make an appointment they say, but you just have to wait as long or longer with your appointment. I have a full warranty for 65,000 miles, but they can't fix it because I drove 14,000 mile. They don't make sense. Corporate is even worse. I took it elsewhere and they fixed it in 30 minutes and said the tread wear is good. I've got AT LEAST 20,000 mile to go. NEVER GO HERE. IF YOU DO IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT. On May 3, 2023 at 5:30am I had a flat tire about 10 miles south of Saint Augustine, Florida. My SUV was packed to the top and I had to be in Ohio for work the next morning. I changed my tire to my spare donut tire deeply buried under luggage and totes. Obviously, I couldn't travel 800 miles on that tire. I drove to the closest tire shop and it happened to be Tire Kingdom at 2494 US Hwy 1 in Saint Augustine, Florida. I waited for them to open up at 8am. The front desk help told me it would take some time to fix a flat. My tread was getting low so I asked if buying two tires would get me quicker service. Well, it definitely got me quicker service. He offered 3 price ranges of tires. I told him to give me the middle priced tires. The BFG Advantage Control tires run about $180.00 each. I know that now because I just bought two more this week in Ohio to match the other two. To wrap this up, I was taken advantage of because I was desperate and in need of immediate help. They added complete tire protection that I did not ask for or want. They also charged me $100.00 for labor. The original price of $361.98 was jacked up to $514.02 at checkout. A few days later I reviewed the bill and couldn't believe they would take advantage of a traveler needing to get home and in need of help. Additional and unnecessary fees are unprofessional and dishonest. I am very disappointed in this Tire Kingdom of Saint Augustine Florida and wanted to alert others of the way I was treated. read more

Scott & the crew got the car up on the lift in 2 minutes; found the tire defective, so I suggested getting a new one. Less than 10-minutes later I was out the door. These guys are pros plus. Front staff are always kind and courteous and the guys working on my cars take good care of them, resetting my oil percentage light and keeping my vehicles clean. Good honest and friendly staff. They took care of my Focus and now take care of my Frontier. Brand new truck, had a little wandering when driving straight. The dealer found nothing wrong (according to them). Took it to this Tire Kingdom and they ran an alignment check, found a small deviation, corrected it and the truck drives perfectly. I have used them many times, their tire service is excellent and I prefer to drive up to use this store, even though I live in Palm Coast and have a location closer to me. read more

What a ripoff joint. I just moved to St Augustine and haven't gotten my Florida plates yet and they ripped me a new one on my oil change. I got my change and two air filters and they charged me $94. I kept asking the cost of the filters and they wouldn't tell me. When I went to pay I found out the cost however, they would not show me cost of the filters. When you sign for the service it states that they will will tell you any additional costs Well they didn't. I was running late on a appointment. I should have paid for not making the appointment rather than being ripped off. I would have raised the roof if I would have stayed. This is the most CORRUPT place of business in the world. You want to help me now. When I had the car in before the alignment to get new tires, yes plural tires, I knew the left front definitely needed to be replaced and told them to look at the right front as well and if any doubt just replace both. I had right front end work scheduled and planned on getting tires, front end work then alignment. When the car was ready and the bill was for only one tire I asked Daniel what about the other front tire it didn't need to be replaced? He says " I guess not if they didn't replace it" you guess not, how about taking two steps out to the garage and ensuring they knew to check both tires. When I had the right front end work done and last step was alignment the mechanic emphatically said "Do not take it to Tire Kingdom" I stupidly took it to your place. As I told you it was now pulling so hard to the right and when I immediately took it back they said well your right front tire is worn and that's the issue, the alignment is good. I wasted my time and money on two trips to you people, I need to get a new tire and an alignment now and take another day off from work after wasting two with your staff. And your front desk both times were laughing with other customers about the people who raised issues about the work they had done. It's a joke to them I guess when we spend our money there only to have to come back or go elsewhere. Absolutely uncaring and unprofessional staff and horrible quality of work. You take the money but don't stand behind your work and openly laugh at people who have spent what may be as in my case the last few dollars they had until next paycheck. I can't go far with my car now as I don't want to wear the new tire out before I get paid to fix what you people didn't do correctly. Tire Kingdom is overpriced, the front desk people are not friendly, they act like it's a trouble for you to be there, they are slow, they try to sell you tons of stuff you don't need, and are untrustworthy. I have gotten things done here that we're not infact touched, I have had a oil change and been charged for stuff I did not ask for, I have been treated rude by the staff, and I have taken my buisness elsewhere. I had a new set of tires put on a few days ago and we had an issue with the rims. To make a long story short for this review, despite a big problem, the manager Art worked with me and his district office and resolved the problem with professionalism and a sense of urgency. Being a business owner myself, I know that things do not always go as planned despite our best efforts. But it tells me a lot about the management and the company when something does go wrong, how they respond and handle it that really tells you who they are and what they believe in as a business.
