I did a walk-in to get my screen repaired on my iPhone 7. I didn't complain about anything; I actually thought the experience was pretty cool with having to wait 15 minutes, seeing my screen repaired, and them accepting walk-ins. However, a few hours after they repaired and I had left the store. My iPhone 7 keeps on repeatedly turning on and off ever since that day they repaired my screen. It's annoying Bc I'll be in the middle of a phone call and it'd shut off. They messed up my phone pretty bad, leading me to soon purchase one. Do not Recommend! I came to this store after bringing my iPhone X to both Best Buy & Apple to quote it for a repair on the screen (it was slightly detached from dropping it on pavement and needed to be replaced). Both Best Buy & Apple wanted to take my phone overnight, search for all possible "internal damages" and wanted me to pay hundreds of dollars. I live local near the store & I stopped in after being frustrated by these larger companies. He offered to replace the screen for almost 1/4 of the price!!! He showed me the damaged screen so I knew exactly what was wrong, and he replaced it in less than 10 minutes. Since I lived close they even threw in a free screen protector since we are neighbors. My only reservation is that I have noticed some changes in how my screen brightness adjusts to ambient light.. it is pretty subtle so I haven't taken it back but this was not a problem until after they changed my screen. read more

My iPhone 7 out of nowhere started randomly shutting down and rebooting. I took it to the apple store and the apple "genius" ran some software tests on his iPad and told me nothing is wrong with my phone's hardware(!?). He said it might be software related and told me not to restore from my backup(what's the point of backups then..). He said if a factory reset doesn't fix it I should just buy a new phone. Surely enough factory reset didn't fix the issue so I gave Direct Phone Fix a try and I'm so glad I did. I walked into the store as soon as they opened, the manager there ran some tests and within 30 mins he told me he has identified the issue being a faulty charging module and it will only cost me $70 to fix it. If I could put zero stars I would. Left film on screen for a few days and decided to take it off and there was a chip in the screen. Crappiest screen ever. It's only been 3 days. Soooo, my MacBook Air is 5ish years old. It wasn't turning on & I was told by the people at the Apple Genius Bar that I'd have to replace the logic board ($500+). They recommended I should just get a new computer, seeing as the repair was so expensive and the laptop wasn't exactly a spring chicken. Faced with the prospect of dropping over $1200 on a new laptop, I tried these guys since their reviews were stellar. Basically, the positive reviews were super accurate. They diagnosed the *actual* problem within an afternoon and replaced the necessary part (chipset) within 1.5 days and for $150! (After assuring me that if the part didn't work, I wouldn't be charged) I get that Apple runs their business on selling new stuff to people, but I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. Other than the one issue, my computer has served me so well & I feel like I can at least get another year out of it. I would highly recommend these guys! read more

I had a hard time finding a phone repair shop that was open on Sunday & ready to repair my phone right away. I had a LG G5 with a cracked camera lens and a Lenovo laptop that kept freezing. I compared a number of different device repair places and decided to go with Direct Phone Fix, which was a great choice! Not only were their prices great compared to other shops, but they we very responsive in communication and support via phone calls and Yelp messages. After ordering the part for the phone, they fixed it up in around 30 mins, which was much quicker than expected. They also did a factory reset on my laptop as were able to recover the data (per my request) by backing it up on their own hard drive and then transferring it back to my laptop, which was great customer service! Make sure you use the Yelp voucher too, as that saved me $10.00 The one thing to be mindful of is that if they are busy and booked with repairs, service can be much slower than expected since they don't have much staff on the premise. I had to wait for someone to get back from a break before they could start repairs which meant I had to stop in a few times. If they are fully staffed, service is quick, but it would certainly be worth calling ahead to see how long the wait times are. read more

I've never written a negative review before, generally I find them incredibly whiny, but I felt inclined to write this as a warning-- don't get your iphone 6 screen fixed here. The screen that was put on my phone wasn't compatible and has fried my battery and now I have to buy a whole new phone :/ Just so I don't end this review on such a negative note, I will say the price is fair, $108 to repair a cracked screen. And both of the guys working the day I was there were very friendly and professional. The only hiccup in service was that the first time I dropped off the phone they said to come back in an hour (which is reasonable), however when I came back, I checked the front camera and they had smudged the lens before putting on the new screen so they had to start all over in order to clean it before re-replacing it. It only took about 30 extra minutes; annoying, but not a deal-breaker. Despite all of the benefits of coming here, it doesn't make it worth throwing away a hundred dollars on a phone you'll have to replace a few weeks later. I think the real villain here is Apple, for making products that only they can replace at a disgustingly high fee, but whatever the case, you've been warned! read more

I wanted to wait a few days to write this review, in hopes that things would get better. The service at direct phone fix is fantastic, but my experience with the actual repair has been terrible. I have an iPhone X, and took it in to get the screen replaced. I had cracked it, and the previous reviews looked promising. I took it in, and they fixed it within 15 minutes of me arriving, which was great. However, later that night I noticed that it started flashing bright white lights when I'd use it for over 20 minutes. I thought maybe things would even out if I gave it some time, but as days passed, it only got worse. Now, I can hardly use my phone for a minute at a time without getting blinded and the entire screen go white. If I knew this was going to be the result, I wouldn't have taken my phone to get fixed in the first place. In the time it took me to write this review, I've had to turn my phone off and back on 6 times. read more

I will definitely contact the owner because I have my Iphone front glass being replaced now and your employee didn't place back all the screws (screws were missing) and some were not even iPhone screws!!!
