Big plates of comfort food. All perfectly prepared. Credit: AreYouThatWoman.com

Thank you Laura (owner) and Lisa our talented server for another delicious adventure in Visalia. Service was definitely 5-star. Big plates of great diner food - biscuits and gravy, home fries, waffles, crisp bacon, pancakes, onion rings, burgers and more. Classic diner decor and lots of kitschy art on the walls. Skilled short-order chef Abraham is a star performer. Clearly a locals favorite, we were happy to be part of the crowd. Simple things mean so much. I ordered a very basic eggs with bacon and potatoes. I asked for eggs over medium - perfect! Bacon extra crips - perfect! And country potatoes - red potatoes with bell peppers and onion asked to be slightly crisp - also perfect! Did I leave hungry - hardly. And my husband who enjoyed a waffle with eggs and bacon - also perfect!

Holy food. Prepare to be stuffed walking out of here. Service was so nice, food was everything you'd want from a classic breakfast, and the ambiance is unmatched. A real classic.

You want pancakes? Biscuits? Hash Browns crispy? Omelette? Dimples Diner does all of these perfectly. The menu is classic diner and the prices are good. Their coffee is a little too "diner" style for me. If you can't stomach bad coffee, then get an OJ. The walls are full of amusing vintage posters and photos. There are other vintage pieces around like gas pumps and toys. The exterior looks like a classic East coast rail car diner. They have a wraparound neon sign on the facade but I heard it doesn't work? All the seating is red vinyl booths and counter seating. Their mascot is a riff on Betty Boop, hance the name "Dimples" There's plenty of parking in their lot but sometimes it's so busy that the lot is full!? This is also a hub of the community where many of the guests are regulars who chat with the owner and other members of the staff. This place was recommended to us by our tow truck driver from West Coast Towing. He has lived in Visalia all his adult life. I highly recommend West Coast Towing and Dimples Diner for a taste of Visalia.

Come out and support your local small business. Staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Ambiance is pretty laid back. They have parking around the corner and the wait was probably less than 30mins. The menu was a little confusing to me, but just ask for clarification. Our waitress was very helpful in clarifying any misunderstanding on the menu. Breakfast for 3 was about $71 (with different side orders) If you're on a road trip and need to grab breakfast, stop by here. Note: food is a little on the greasy side, so be aware if you have a sensitive stomach

    Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich

If you want old fashioned diner food, this is the place. Everything I've ever ate here has been delicious. Chicken Friend Steak is great! Burgers are juicy and delicious. Today was the ultimate breakfast sandwich with seasoned French fries and I was in a food coma after. So bomb.

This is half of the chicken fried steak and hash browns with biscuit and gravy.

Had chicken fried steak w8th hash browns and scrambled eggs with a side of biscuit and gravy . Share the plate with my husband this was my portion very tasty and super filling.

Grimy table edge once was shiny chrome.

The good: My steak burrito with fresh house made salsa was very good. The Bad: We waited an 1/2 hour in a hot waiting area with little to no AC & broken chairs. More Bad: This place needs a good cleaning & a refresh on its faded worn & missing decor. I hope the owner puts some money into it so the good food can be enjoyed.

Great old school diner! The vibes are vintage. The food is great with large portions. Our favorite was the french toast and hash browns! Service was quick and the wait also went fast. If you are looking for a classic diner with griddle food, this is it!

Great place for breakfast. Place is back to old times diner. The waitress was GREAT, she got our order correct first time. Food was very good, make sure to ask how many eggs the order has you might have to split it. One veggie omelette was four eggs.

We were in Visalia Over the weekend and found this diner. When we arrived it was pretty busy so there was some wait. We were finally seated and it was so cute inside and the server waa super sweet. The food was good we had some waffles, omelette and some chicken fingers. Everything was pretty good.

Every time we go to dimples diner, the staff is so warm and welcoming. It is such a cozy diner with good, comfort food and nice people. Definitely recommend!

    Me and my little cousin.

The food is great, the service is awesome and the atmosphere is cozy and chill. Great place to go eat and not to expensive either.

My late breakfast was cooked just like I Ordered. I got the French Toast 2 2 eggs & 2 sausage. Yum yum. After 4 bites I realized I should have taken a picture. Price w/ tip no more than $18. My server was great & attentive. This is a small dinner that looks like a dining rail car. Lots of 50s memorabilia inside. Someone loves Betty Boop. Plenty of parking, ADA accessible. Cool music. Stop by for a quick bite.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, you're missing out if you haven't stopped here yet…read more I found this spot while on a business trip and was relieved to find a quality local gem in an area dominated by chains. The food is delicious, the service is incredibly fast, and the price point is hard to beat. As a bit of a milk tea aficionado, shout-out to the Golden Milk Tea with boba, it easily complimented my meal. Highly recommend! The cashier recommended their Banh Mi and Pho, I'll be back.

**Review for Banh Mi Amour - Visalia, CA**…read more Banh Mi Amour is a hidden gem located in Mineral King Plaza between Linwood and Chinowth (Chinowth's corner). The surrounding area may feel a bit worn compared to its heyday in the 1970s, but don't let that fool you--this is exactly the kind of spot locals know and love for great food. The restaurant itself is small, with around 10 tables, so seating can be limited during the lunch rush. Inside, it's clean, neat, and well-kept. The ordering process is simple: you place and pay for your order at the counter, and if you're dining in, they'll bring the food out to your table. Takeout is also available. They offer a variety of traditional banh mi sandwiches. A helpful tip: if you order one to go, you can ask them to separate the vegetables so you can reheat the sandwich at home and add the veggies back in fresh--definitely worth doing. We ordered the Special Beef Pho, and it was outstanding. The broth was rich, deeply flavorful, and easily the best pho I've had in Visalia. In fact, it surpasses some places I've tried in Fresno and even San Jose. It's that good. They offer one size, and the portion is large and very filling. This is now my #1 pho spot in town, and I'll definitely be coming back. **Rating: 5 out of 5 stars**

I do get kind of a cool speakeasy vibe by having to walk in the front and meander thru the skinny hallway into the back main room. My friend and I were recommended the fish and chips as a "house specialty" and I think they were nothing more than everyday frozen fish and chips I could get from any other restaurant in town. The oil may have been a tad too cool when our fish was fried because the perfectly uniform trapezoid shaped fish pieces were all oily and the crispy batter could of been better if there wasn't so much trapped oil. The pretzel appetizer with cheese sauce was good, and the cheese sauce seemed to be homemade. There are better options but I'd come back and try something else off the menu. Could be a cool place go grab some beers and watch TV there.
