Dimitri's has it all! Happening local scene at the Bar and a nice quiet restaurant. And Variety!!! I visited here 6 times in a week due to it's convenient location visiting family and it was 1 of my 3 favorites in Sebring! We tried a variety of things from Italian (Fettuccine) , Greek (Combo plate), soups, desserts, all good and Coconut shrimp was great! All in all good and really nice hard working staff! Bar is fun to sit outside and order Pizza. They have live music, guitarist and singer frequently, yet the Restaurant is nice and quiet. Easy to go ordering and take out. read more

Palm Dinner has delicious food at a great price. The service is always top notch and it's a great atmosphere. It's always busy when I go there whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, so it's obviously a town favorite. I have eaten there quite a few times and I have never been disappointed with the service or the food. If you're a local or you're just visiting Sebring, I recommend you check this restaurant out first, because you will be disappointed. read more

Visited Dimitri's for a mini-class reunion on a Saturday afternoon. We were all very impressed by the service we received as well as the patience of the wait staff in dealing with a group of people more interested in talking amongst ourselves than ordering. Our food was served hot and tasted very good. I ordered the clam strips and was pleasantly surprised by both the clams and the fries. My wife had the chicken tenders and enjoyed them as well. I suspect if we do this reunion again next year, we just might end up at the same place as everyone left happy. read more

Dimitri's has been a good place to go for lunch for quite some time, and now they have added a pizza kitchen with excellent results. In our view it is the best pizza in the area. Our personal favorite is the Tuscan Shrimp White Pizza, but all the offerings (and there are many!) are good. Also try the Stromboli...very good! The pizza is available to eat only on the porch or in the bar, not in the restaurant itself. Dimitri himself is a very hands-on owner and if there is any problem with the food he will see that it is taken care of. All in all, one of the best places in town. read more

Went for pizza but they don't seem to be very well experienced in the process. We were charged twice for spinach, waited 45 minutes for pie from time ordered. Waitress was very nice and busy. Won't be returning for pizza. read more

Great beer menu and fabulous pizza. Only been there once, but can't wait to try it again !

Great Food all the time! staff is very friendly, they remember when your a repeat customer and their service and good food are consistent. Breakfast crowds on weekends are crazy so either get there before 830am or wait til after 10am. they do take reservations which is a plus and the prices are great and very budget friendly. read more

The place looks cute from the outside. We were there on Monday evening the 10th of Feb. 2020. Someone had told us that they loved the salmon so we decided to give it a try. We learned that what some people love is relative to what kind of food they're used to. It wasn't overly busy but our waitress acted stressed and service was slow. We were three and ordered 3 different items. I had no place mat or cutlery - I was given cutlery but no mat. My sister had the turkey dinner. It was blah. No seasonings of any kind. The stuffing was like a board. My husband had the fish and chips in a basket. The breading was not crisp and it sat on a handful of under-cooked white fries. I ordered the salmon. The fish tasted old and dry and came in a puddle of grease. The baked potato was good. Greek salad was okay. Needless to say, we didn't order desert. Salmon and turkey went home for the dogs. Forgot to mention, the corn bread at the beginning was excellent. We should have made a meal of that. Although we had no bread plates (it was very crumbly) so we ate it on napkins. Won't be paying another visit. read more

Ate here for lunch yesterday. Don't waste your money. The food was terrible even without the hair I had in my food. The manager did not charge us for my food because of the hair but the food was in general the worst we have had in Sebring. read more

Our office placed an order for a couple who was celebrating a birthday. We placed an order and had our boss pick it up. She walked in and waited to be helped. Another woman walked in behind her and was helped before she was. Ok. She waited. When she was finally waited on, they had no order that had come in. Odd, because we verified the number we called and yes, we had called Demitris. She asked if we took down the name of the person who had taken the order; we did not. We barely got enough time to tell her what we wanted much less get her name. My boss walked out and gave the young lady who had ordered a call to make sure she was at the correct location. She verified all the information. The young lady called in to see what was going on, mind you this is half an hour after the initial order) and spoke with the manager. The manger was very rude and claimed that she and another girl were the only ones there and no order had been received. She then asked if we had called the correct place. Um. Yes, of course. She then asked if we'd like to replace the order and we did. When my boss walked in to PU, the manager, Lori, stated that they had to call "Jimmys" and pick up the order because that's where we had placed it. Really? Are you kidding?! We verified the number once again and it was the number we found on google for DIMITRIS FAMILY RESTAURANT!! HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! read more

We felt the service was wonderful. We had liver and onions and grouper. Both were excellent The servings were large with excellent sides. The bread was almost like cake it was so moist and good. We will be back. read more

Very inconsistent quality, but overall fairly good food. Eat here regularly, and the service is usually good. Some of the waitresses could use eduiquite lessons, as they tend to be a little pushy, assuming that you want drink refills, etc. Chicken Cordon Bleu is especially good when on the menu, but the Roast Turkey is nothing short of awful; it's turkey loaf. Seriously? I thought that faded out from market rejection in the 70's. Breakfast is usually quite good. The menu is not always accurate, as I have ordered selections only to find that something I don't care for is added to that dish, but menu didn't state so. Overall a very basic but okay dining experience. read more

What has happened to this once-delightful eatery? Two of us went for a late lunch yesterday; the restaurant was not busy. We experienced a longer than usual wait to be seated. A very long wait for service was compounded by several wait staff members coming to our table and asking if we had been served. There was confusion about our drink order, i.e., we gave our order and were waiting when another server came to the table and expressed surprise that our drink order had been taken but not filled. Other diners who were seated after us already had their food and we were still waiting. A person appearing to be with management came to our table and asked who was serving us--we were unsure how to answer since several servers were involved. Most distressing and disappointing was the extremely poor quality of our lunch selections. One was a chicken crisper salad, the other a fish and chips. The batter on the fish was limp and tasteless. The fish was jelly-like, not of normal consistency. The french fries had obviously been on hold and were limp and greasy. The salad appeared to have had an entire can of black olives poured over it. The pita bread tasted rancid, the chicken was hard, dry, and tasteless. We were not offered additional iced tea; we were not offered dessert. Upon leaving, there was a delay in our payment being taken, and when asked how our meal was we responded that it was not up to their usual quality; the cashier remained silent. Very disturbing is that dining at a busy time was not the cause of such inferior service; there was absolutely no excuse for the treatment we received. We will not return. read more

Good fast diner food. Breakfast and lunch seem to be busier than dinner. Prices are good.

Good food, good service, and reasonable prices. I particularly liked their grouper franchise.

We're in Lake Placid for a Sunday drive. Lots to see. Came across Demetris at 1pm. Only one parking spot left then 2 tables left inside. Very busy till after 2. Lots of waiters but slow to wait but nice people. On the way in we used the handicap ramp witch was narrow(not to code) littered and blocked by random chairs like there was a party there earlier. Inside I immediately could see the dirty floor and trash in the isles and under tables. I mean really dirty, old tape on the walls and very worn ripped booth benches. The table was clean. I really think the employees care, but clearly management doesn't. The manager definitely should be fired and replaced with a real good one. The food was fantastic, not just ordinary, great menu selection, very large portion, tasty. I had leftover for another meal at home and more and I don't eat like a bird. It was a large plate full and I enjoyed every bite. It's not a pretty place but the negatives won't keep me from going back, just get rid of the manager and keep it clean inside and out PLEASE. And don't block handicap ramps. read more

Quiet night. Walked in for dinner. Only two of us. Seemed to be confused as to where to sit us. As we sat I looked down and the floor was filthy. Paper bits, food, smudges. The server noticed and said, "oh paper". Ordered a fried app platter. All were tasteless. Served with sweetened canned Italian sauce. A gyro plate and a Greek trio. Never have I ever had such tasteless pre-prepared food. The spinach pie was good for something made days ago and the other two were tasteless blobs of starch. Little to no meat or flavor. Clearly reheats from days prior. They were all slathered in that burningly sweet canned Italian sauce again. The gyro was the type that was presliced and frozen. Just rewarmed. Who ever gave this dive a good review was only there because it was so cheap and filling. Never a good combo. I wasn't expecting gourmet. Oh. The salad dressing was only oil. Yuck. This is nowhere near real Greek good or even good fake Greek food. This dump is called Dimitris now. This was one entirely depressing unsatisfying meal. Never again! read more

My husband and I stopped in there yesterday with our two daughters. Hadn't been since it changed over so we figured we'd give it a shot. Worst. Mistake. Ever. The food was absolutely disgusting. The French onion soup tasted like dirty dish water with some cheese on top. My daughters grilled cheese sandwich was made with such cheap cheese that the grease actually speeped through the bread. I ordered a meatball sandwich, and during my 43 years of eating never have I actually had a crunchy meatball but there it was. My husband decided to eat a Philly cheesesteak, now being from Philly he is a little picky. So when he told me to give it a try I thought he was just being particular. He was not. it was absolutely disgusting! Tasted like someone emptied a bottle of garlic in to a cheesesteak sandwich. The two do not go hand-in-hand. Greek does not mean throw garlic in stuff until that's all you taste. I will say that my younger daughter enjoyed her chicken tenders but then she's two and will eat food off of the floor so I wouldn't really go by her. If you are looking for gross food this is the place for you. If you're looking for absolutely the worst service in Highlands County again this is the place for you. But if those are not the things that you were looking for, literally any place else would be a better choice. read more

This has always been one of our regular - reliable dining locations here in Sebring, however tonight - when we placed our order for dinner; the menu said the one dish came with "garlic bread". When the dish arrived there was a 3/4 inch sliver of very thin garlic bread. It was a joke and we thought it was done in error! He asked the server if he could have an additional piece but was told there would be a charge. Finally after asking for the manager told us that they had just started adding garlic bread to the dish..."We'd only been offering the complimentary corn bread & rolls" before now". Surprise! We were not even offered the complimentary corn bread or rolls. We mentioned that they shouldn't even bother giving a thin 3/4" sliver of garlic bread at all. Know it's tough customer feedback to swallow but hey, someone has to say it. As my husband finished up his dish the manager brought him 2 extra slivers of garlic bread and our server brought us a basket of 4 pcs of complimentary cornbread and rolls. Seems like even with it being "in season & busy" for this area unfortunately the Palm Diner is dropping their standards some. We gave it 4 stars because we LOVE their chocolate cake but otherwise it would have been 3 stars. read more
